Growing up in Long Island in the 1980s I had plenty of rock clubs to go to. Now, not so much. I see a lot of negative reviews here. A lot of them have nothing to do with what this place really is. ITS ROCK CLUB! If you're looking for a fine dining experience, this isn't the place! If you want to see a band with a nice stage, good sound system and decent drinks you should probably stop in. My wife and I were there last week to see FM . A fantastic Steely Dan cover band. This place has a very nice size stage plenty of seating and good bartenders. Yes, the bathrooms are pretty disgusting. I think they can probably work on that. However, growing up in the rock 'n' roll culture of the 80s, it does not offend me! Admittedly, we do not eat here. However, the drinks were well-made. Our server, Angelina was excellent. She was friendly and attentive. I'm pretty sure the guy at the door won't be asked to host the Oscars next year. But that's not what we need out of him! The crowd was friendly, and the place was packed. I'm just glad that now that I reached my 60s I can still go out to rock on. My wife and I will definitely be back in the future I suggest you check out their website. They have a wide range of bands. In my estimation this is probably the best rock club left on Long Island. Went there a few weeks ago for Girls Night out Male Review. My friends and I arrived at 3:30 as stated for "VIP" seating. We were cold standing in the rain and were told they don't open until 4. Finally they let us in as a "favor" to us. Then we were told to wait at the bar because they weren't finished setting up. We ordered drinks at the bar, which we were told do not count towards the minimum purchase, and the bartenders claimed they didn't have cash and we had to use a credit card. Finally we are seated. Our server came to take our drink order, brought our drinks, but never took our food order. We placed it with another server that happened to walk by. Food was standard pub fare. Nothing exciting, some barely edible. Lastly, the show was a huge letdown. Not what we expected at all. A total money grab. We basically paid to watch other women who paid the extra $40, have simulated sex on stage. One of the ""dancers" was putting their hands down his pants. Definitely false advertising. We came tonight' to see an Allman Brothers cover band. They were really good. The place itself not so much. I got my tickets on line for this show weeks ago. Paid for 6 people plus a Vip table. Total was $89 plus everyone had a 2 drink minimum. When I got to the place they informed me that I underpaid and owed them $21. I paid it even though it didn't really make sense. Then when my friends came in they charged them another $5 a head each. I inquired why? None of this made sense. They told me sone other bull about how I still didn't pay enough. Then they said they wouldn't charge the other 3 people that didn't get here yet the extra $5. ok whatever. We ordered food and drinks. All of the food was pretty bad. We got the steak tidbits sandwich on a garlic roll. The roll was pathetic. The sandwich was pathetic. We also got the buffalo cauliflower, Short-rib nachos, chicken fingers, and chicken sandwich. None of it was very good. They charge $5 for a bottle of water. Our bill came out to $300 Totally not worth it at all. If I ever came back, I'd only do general admission. I can't stop going here... live music that gets you amp'ed up! Loved the Myspace Band, and just went for a 90s alt rock band. Theyre so good. I enjoy being playful with security at the front, getting a nice VIP area and enjoying a show. The VIP is nice because we can put our bags down and go dance. One time I started a mosh pit, and though it was not reciprocated, i still had a blast. Legendary Dave Jemott at the bar being curiously pleasant despite my drunk calls for drinks. Food has kicked up a noch. At my gfs bday they were really accommodating. Anyway, check the live music events! read more

Music is great. You come here for music. Not the bland food or overpriced drinks. I ordered the grilled chicken on a club roll with fries. The fries were not good, and the grilled chicken was bland. The slice of raw onion on the sandwich was thicker than the chicken itself. The drinks, the mixed drinks are done right but the prices made me feel like I was in NYC not Long Island. Their shits are horrible and this must be a Long Island thing. You get maybe a half shot in these little plastic glasses. The service on the other hand was phenomenal. Went to The Warehouse tonight. They had an amazing band, Orchyd. $10 was reasonable. My Hazy IPA was somewhat warm. My daughter asked for a water...it was $5! Don't they have tap water? My bill was $16.80!!! When I questioned the price she said it included a gratuity. She the proceeded to give me $3 back. I guess the extra 20 cents was also her tip. Never again at this place. I went to the "World aFamous All Male Review". What a total racket! It was NOT a bunch of hot guys stripping and dancing. It was a money hungry promoter basically selling lap dances to women who already paid 30 dollars plus 2 drinks, to get in. The first half hour, literally, had this slob in a black tee shirt and the MOST ANNOYING stage presence, urging women to trade in their twenty's for dollar bills to give the men. Then they got women onstage and basically put them in embarrassing positions and made embarrassing requests. It was SO demeaning to women. Then, they had 4 dancers, one at a time, grind and paw at women and simulate sex. Between each of the 4 dancers, who only performed one at a time, they continued to offer 40 dollar "keys" to guarentee women would get time with a dancer. It was a total racket. No real dancing at all. All just money grubbing. I was infuriated. I will NEVER go back there. Beware this particular show....the WORST read more

Food is typical bar fried food. The place is more for a band and dancing place. They have expanded the high top tables but you must make a reservation unless your ok standing all night long. I was here a little more than a year ago, when the place had a different name, the stage was awkwardly long and low, and it took up just about the entire back wall. Now it is beautifully cornered, tables are plentiful and there is a nice elevated back area, facing the front windows. This place is a nice big upgrade and perfect for any popular local band and its fans. The food is pretty good; mostly tavern fare; and moderately priced. Bar is long and easily accessible along the whole wall adjacent to the front door, facing the stage. I was here for a terrific reggae show from a band called Roots Foundation. They, too, are excellent and the whole evening was just great. read more

I've been to the warehouse a few times to see my boyfriend play different gigs, for when he was drumming for live band karaoke and when he played with Rusty Spur. I never tried the food so I can't vouch for it but I love the atmosphere of the warehouse. There's enough floor space, and enough seating space and the stage is pretty viewable from wherever you decide to sit. I do like this music venue! read more

Went there tonight to visit a friend. The guy at the door was extremely rude for no reason!!! he had a hat on, and a scruffy beard has no personality whatsoever. I would never put that man at my door not every way that's coming in and out of there wrecked and not paying attention. The floor is absolutely disgusting. I ruined my shoes and my pants I didn't even wanna put my coat down. That's how gross this place was. First time here and had a fun night at Country Music Tuesday. I learned some line dancing, heard some country music, and had some good food. The drinks and food orders came out fast and the area is open with a lot of room to maneuver. The happy hour choices were very limited to Tecate Lights, but we made it work for $4. She was leaving the bathroom with two friends, and they decided to pick on the woman with darker skin than every single other person at the venue. I have been going there for many years but last night I had a bad experience my table was we in the corner we couldn't get in or out of the table. I asked if we could be moved. She said I wouldn't let you know never came back. we ordered food went out. Dancing came back. Our food was gone, spoke to the manager, she said that the way to send somebody at our table told us to takeoff food. There was no way that happened because all four of us was out dancing. VERY DISAPPOINTED! We paid for a VIP table under the impression that we would be close to the stage (site did not specify where the VIP tables were and it would seem fairly simple that the VIP would be close to the stage). Not only were we in the back of the room we were the last table against the back wall and could NOT see ANYTING. We asked both the waiter and the owner if anything could be done. Owner blew us off. Waiter told us you can get up and stand up front (the whole point of paying MORE was so we would not need to do that)! Also the bill was VERY SNEAKY they put the tip as part of the bill then put on the bottom what was the suggested tip. If I was not paying by card and had to sign the receipt I would never have even noticed it. I would have paid a DOUBLE tip. I am totally fine with over tipping but that should be at my discretion not by being deceiving your patrons! Not sure if I will ever go back again! read more

I have to tell you in my lifetime I have never experienced anything like I did tonight at the warehouse. We went out tonight for my friends birthday and we were being stalked the whole night by the bouncers for taking selfie's of each other and we were told we weren't allowed to do that. Then we spoke to the manager and she said she was very sorry for the way we were treated that they were new and they didn't understand the rules. They said we weren't allowed to take pictures of the band or the crowd because they were so worried about their liquor license. She told us that they were getting in trouble for having live bands there and they didn't want us to show in videos or pictures that they had a crowd in there. We told her we weren't posting anything, only taking pics to remember our friends birthday. Then the manager, Rose, came over to our table and lowered her mask and proceeded to say to us she wasn't going To allow our friend to disrespect her workers. We said to her we don't know what you're talking about and she went on and on to say that our friend walked by the bouncer waving his phone with the video on. That was Totally fabricated by the bouncer, as our friend NEVER did that. She was yelling about it to us with her mask lowered and in our face with her awful coffee breath. I asked for the check and we left. This is a very cheesy establishment and I can assure you I will never go there again. We are professional adults in our 50s and 60s and we were basically being harassed for having fun. I just hope none of us come down with Covid after her very unprofessional Behavior and lowering her mask to yell at us with her really stinky coffee breath and possibly Covid related breath!!! read more

Went to check out The Warehouse L.I. tonight and caught an awesome Billy Joel / Elton John cover band, Face To Face. They were really great and kept the crowd rockin' through the entire set. The venue is very spacious with plenty of tables and seating. The service was very good. Our server, I believe his name was Nick, came back frequently to check on us after our original server went AWOL. He informed us that she had left because she didn't feel well. We ordered the cheeseburger platter, a buffalo chicken wrap, and panko fried shrimp. All of which were pretty decent for bar / lounge food. The cucumber mojitos were delicious. I also had two Guinness which were available in a can only, so I was a little disappointed in that. But I enjoyed them nonetheless. Considering we got three hours of (really great) live music, food, and drinks, the bill was very reasonable. Even though we noticed that there were three Guinness on the bill when we only ordered two. We didn't mention it, because mistakes happen and our server was really on point with the service itself. We would definitely go back again, as it was a really fun evening. Not to mention, close to home. :-) Not a complaint really, but if I could recommend anything? Actual pint glasses. We were yelled at, pushed back, and told to have our money in our hands, like little kids. Basically, Got served whiskeys in worn, finger-print dirty, PLASTIC tumblers. Had (what I thought was a stranger but ACTUALLY turned out to be) head of security say to me... "Move away from here. You're making the women uncomfortable." (I LITERALLY was standing 5 feet from another living soul, watching my old band perform when this was told to me.) And... To top these odd things off, I've heard (and witness) that as a band, your set list is to be arranged by the sound engineer?... So. With their large and rather empty venue, controlling attitude, and 'Locals Only' vibe this place isn't worth another visit from me. : ) read more

For the first time since our son left home for the army, my husband and I had the opportunity to go out for New Year's Eve and chose this place because it was close to home. We paid a total of $267.74 for 2 of us to have the best possible package/seating. Their ad said started at 8pm. Buffet didn't start until after 9:30. I had not eaten, so while every other table around us was given hors d'oeuvres and we were not. I offered to pay even after paying 125$ ppl plus fees. Just to get something in my stomach. I was denied. I went up to the buffet line where they had a "guard" and asked for a cheap crappy dinner roll just to get something in my stomach and was told no. I basically was begging for food.....for the price we paid? I have never been so embarrassed and insulted in my life. As someone who has spent many years working in the for service industry I could not imagine being so rude and dismissive of customers in need. It's not even 11 o'clock on New Year's Eve and I'm home already. Extremely upset at being forced to watch the wait staff walk past us with food and drinks for others as if we were invisible....I have absolutely no desire to ever go back there again. I don't care who's playing. Chris Cornell could crawl out of the grave and I wouldn't pay to go back in that place. Stay home unless you enjoy being treated like crap. I'm so furious with myself for my decision. The bartender was great and so was the coat check girl. That is just not enough. Just stay at home. You'll be happier. Been here twice. Place is chill but both times I've gotten sick. I don't know if it's the ice, limes or bad booze but both times over a year apart or longer the same thing. Tequila, Seltzer, lime and ice. Sick. Queezy, dizzy, stomach, cramps, light headness and sweats. Not to mention extremely overpriced. Nachos had to be sent back the cheese was cold cold like right out the fridge. Upon getting them back, clearly tossed in the microwave. Chips were soggy and guac was steaming hot now. Fries were super soggy and inedible. I really don't like to come and post these things but I feel after two chances this place needs to be called on it. A couple weeks ago my friend and his band were playing ,the mystic , great band. So I planned a nice and local evening out to listen and enjoy ourselves. We got there 6:15, and the band didn't start till 7:30 or so. My friend that I brought with me is 82 and I am 66 with a bad back, so I ask the lady manager for some chairs, and grunted about the chairs being with the tables.being reserved, we asked her again and she mumbled about the other manager. About 15 minutes later, I asked the other manager, he just walked away grunting something about the chairs are with the table. Meanwhile the chairs were empty. We had to leave ,these 2 people ruined our night that I was counting on having a good time, they kept our 30 bucks too, and said have a good night, I guess I'll have a good night as long as I don't go back to the Warehouse, too bad read more

Had some friends in from out of town for Thanksgiving eve. Reserved a table through Eventbrite. Reasonable @ $15ea. and we had it for the night. Seated no prob. We def wanted to eat and the bar food was really good. They had everything that we were drinking, also really good. No complaints. The VH tribute band was friggin awesome and kept everyone screaming. The crowd was 30's to 50's and lots of fun!!! All in all, it couldn't have been any better. Friends were really impressed and I was happy that I was able to show them a good time. read more

Please go elsewhere. Food is bad, cold & poor quality. Drinks watered down Overcharged 2 times in a month. Tip added even though we are 4 people not the 6 required to add the tip. Both times 3 drinks that no one ordered. That charge alone was 50$. The female manager made a huge deal about adding a chair to our table. She was obviously looking to be tipped to give us one of the many empty chairs. NEVER GOING BACK. I don't usually write bad reviews but this time I have no choice. First the good review.The band was excellent and the place is spacious and trendy. We were there with 50 people who came specifically ,for the first time, to see the band. The bar charges 10$ cover to walk in and you must eat and have at least 2 drinks to sit down. We got there early and ordered drinks and dinner. The management had 1 waitress for the whole bar, needless to say that was the beginning of the problem..She was overwhelmed and became very nasty and rude very quickly. She and her terrible manners to the customers quickly became the talk of the evening. When brought up o the manager we were told that is the "deal". The bar lost 50 patrons and should seriously consider some classes in manners, waitressing, and overall better behavior. Enter with caution!! read more

What a beautiful addition to Amityville. Nice concert venue, nice staff, small and cozy atmosphere. However here is the big downfall. We went to see a double headline show, 45RPM and BonJourney. The volume was so loud that my entire group had to stuff napkins in our ears. Our heads were ringing. 45RPM, who we are huge fans of, were so loud that my ears were hurting. Music was so distorted. Just when you thought it couldn't get worse, BonJourney arrived to the stage where it was so loud I swear I went sterile. The lead singer kept signaling to the sound man in the booth to lower the volume but obviously his requests fell on deaf ears. My friends and I are all big band goers, however none of us feel like we wanna even give The Warehouse a second chance. read more

Went to this relatively new venue last night for the first time to see a Crosby, Stills, Nash & Young cover band appropriately called 4 Way Street. As this is only the 5th review of the place, I will try and dig in to some of the nitty gritty details since it became clear to me during the course of the evening that many patrons there didn't know the lay of the land as is no doubt the case for many who are reading this who've never been there. Immediately upon entry, a bouncer type will demand $10 per person as a cover charge in exchange for a stamp of the hand. This must be paid in cash. No adding the fee to a tab. The place is large with the seated area taking up only about 30% of the total space. It is understood that the majority of the patrons will be standing to watch the music with libation in hand. It creates a good vibe and adds to the energy. If you want a table (and note that tables are located in the choice viewing area), there is a two drink minimum per head). We arrived at 7 which was the time that the band was to go on. We saw this as a great feature of The Warehouse. Many music venues (such as KJ Farrells who we understand have common ownership with this place) don't get the music cranking until 10PM. But a lot of people like me (read middle aged) are hoping that our evening is starting to wind down by 10 and not just getting started. The early starting time also allows the patrons to have dinner while drinking their minimum which makes the evening a bit more fullsome. As for the food, we weren't expecting much. The menu isn't very extensive and is pub fare. I had a glimpse of the menu on line and was hell bent on the Warehouse Burger which was a burger on a garlic roll with bacon, mozzerella and onion straws. My wife got the chicken kebob which came on a flat bread. My burger was solid. Not nearly the best I ever had but better than I expected. Fries were as expected (frozen but serviceable). My wife said the kebob was average. Reasonably fully meated (not all chicken but with the usual accompanying things on the skewer). Once again, exceded expectations. You're not here for the food and I consider it a victory when a place like this can give you a satisfying meal while providing the benefit of a kickin live band. I also liked the logistics of the billing process. They grab your credit card upon ordering. The waiter checks in every half hour or so. When you ask for the bill, he brings you a copy of the receipt so that you can agree everything before he puts it through the machine. This is a good practice because it's loud in there with the music and they don't want a negotiating session after they've gone to the machine. Perhaps the best news of the evening were the prices. Our expectation was that we would be ripped off. You expect it at a music venue. Here, the Warehouse Burger which was pretty loaded was $16 bucks (a plain burger would have been $14). Wife's kebob was around $12. Beers were $7 and best of all, sodas for the designated driver were just $3 bucks. If this were a straight up restaurant I would have said the value was ehh. For a music venue like this, that's really good value. Other factoids: About half of the table tops rest on large wide barrels which impair leg room significantly. This was a surprising bummer. Perhaps the reason was that they add to stability in case a tipsy patron dances a little out of control or starts to lean a little to heavily on the table. While it was apparent to me that the sound technicians had a good core competency (which one would expect given the owner's experience), there were a few kinks to be worked out the night we went. The first band (4 Way Street) played one song and then took a 40 minute break while a sound problem was rectified. As we were having a good time, we decided to stay for the second band as my wife was told that the change over should take about 25 minutes. It wound up taking a lot longer than that as there was a problem with the sound from the bass. Don't know how often this sort of thing happens. Though the tables have the best viewing area, that didn't stop the stand up crowd from invading the space and standing up on a direct line of our view to the stage. The tables are high tops which helps a bit. Most patrons are respectful but some feel it is their right to set up in the very front and dance all night. A 2 or 3 foot higher stage would go a long way to making for a better viewing experience. read more
