You should believe the bad reviews you see here! We hired the Wandering Brew for our wedding on 10/08. It was nearly impossible to get in touch with them to discuss the bar menu and specifics of the contract, and when we finally did (after months (yes -- months) of reaching out) they had changed several components of the contract without ever alerting us to the fact. The biggest disappointment was that the camper we had reserved mysteriously had irreparable water damage that had just come to light "days before the wedding." I simply do not believe this, after reading some other reviews here. It seems to me that this gimmick has been going on for a while. What was unfortunate about this is that the drink signs I had designed and printed were done with the camper in mind. Several guests never even saw the drink lists because they had to be placed near the ground because of the horse trailer set up that was forced upon us days before the event. Other disappointments are numerous. They arrived without the beer taps. We were only able to serve the beer we purchased because (THANKFULLY!) another vendor left the wedding to get some for us. We wasted so much money because we weren't able to serve beer for the entire cocktail hour. They didn't even bring water, which we paid extra for. The icing on the cake is that the bartenders repeatedly plugged a space heater into a designated outlet for our DJ, causing his equipment to short out several times towards the beginning of the night. ALL of this could have been avoided if there was a clear line of communication with the owners of this company. For the amount of money spent on this vendor (not even including the alcohol costs!), I can't say it's worth the money for bartenders, plastic cups, and a horse trailer you didn't even want in the first place. read more

ZERO starts, all fingers, toes and thumbs down, they were just so bad, and disappointing. You think you are getting one thing, but they don't even try, its blatant false advertising. They took our money and never provided any of the agreed upon services.. They "changed policies" but never notified us, of any "contract" changes prior to our event. it goes on and on and on, there isn't a thing mentioned in any of these reviews that is not accurate. Before you book them, search them. thoroughly, and find the reviews. You wont find them, because they turned off the capabilities to do so in every way. No google, no facebook, the only one is here on Yelp. The only True and Hnest reviews. They will take your money, but they will not deliver through on their services. They won't communicate UNLESS it is as a "new service" then they will respond. We had to contact them through email, (I can forward you the email with the multiple reach outs, Instagram, Facebook, phone calls etc.). Their one bartender (after we were promised two) "lucy- one of the best" was rude, slow, and ignorant to our guests. She took 2 long breaks, and was not providing the service that "David T" (see below) and Jessica B (see review removed below) stated they would do. The stories go on and on and on. Its clear they didn't want to be at our event, well before the day of. But they should have told us, and refunded us our money. They definitely gave us a level of stress, you don't need when you are a hosting an event. We will be filing a complaint through the attorney general, as they are not listed to file a complain with the BBB. They have a sister company "The Loft", which I can't imagine could be any better. If we could give them less than one star we would. The worst vendor we had hired for our wedding which became very apparent from the start. As it took 3 months to get a hold of them after having booked and paid in full. Several months of un answered emails as we tried to plan our wedding. Over a year out we asked to hire a fourth bartender which they said it was too far out and to ask again closer to the event. When we asked closer to the wedding, they said it was too late and that they were all booked and could not help us. A week out from our date it appeared we were in for rain on our wedding day so we contacted them in regards to the tap trailer being ok in the rain. At this point days from our wedding they said they just checked on the trailer and it was damaged beyond repair from the rain. They offered to compensate with a coffee station. Our venue did not have freezers for ice so it was important for them to bring a large quantity of ice for our event which we made clear in multiple emails yet day of wedding they showed up with no ice. We supplied all of the alcohol to which they provided no help to guide us in quantity's to buy for our event size. All they had to do was provide garnishes yet they ran out of limes by 8:30pm. They showed up with red solo cup shot glasses (we told them we only wanted clear plastic ware) and put plastic tip cups on bars, not even giving us the chance to provide gratuity. They refused to have a planning call with us prior to our wedding and did not work with our other vendors or even take 10 mins to speak with our catering team on timeline. The worst decision of our wedding was choosing to work with wandering brew. Please save yourselves the stress, trouble and disappointment of working with them. We booked the Wandering Brew for our daughter's wedding on 10-08-22 and we could not be more disappointed! They waited until the week of the wedding to tell us the camper we booked was not available and we had to settle for something totally different. They also arrived without the CONTRACTED beer taps or water. We had to send another vendor at the wedding to rent taps- we weren't able to serve any beer during the cocktail hour resulting in a ton of unused beer and a waste of money on our behalf! They promised an adjustment in cost but now will not answer our email or text messages!! Such poor business ethics!!! Do not use this company!! It started innocuously. The Wandering Brew could not deliver agreed upon services for our wedding and offered us a refund. Unfortunately, the deposit never came back. We hired The Wandering Brew in March '21 for a bar camper. We were then told in April '22 that the camper was non-functional. Fair enough, I appreciate the honesty, but to then promise a refund and effectively ghost us is the most unprofessional way to conduct business. I understand that times are tough, but the theft, fraud and lack of honor is atrocious. I'd be negligent to not let you, a potential customer, know that you could be putting your once-in-a-lifetime event into the hands of thieves. (Note: we can no longer challenge the deposit with our credit card because it is past 60 days from the time of purchase). Full transparency, Jessica initially claimed that she did send a check, which we never received. I would venture to say that's an absolute lie, checks can be cancelled and re-written, but yet we've never received any correspondence since. Do not do business with them! Paid $975 deposit for an event. As the event neared, Jessica Bredbenner, the owner, would not respond to any forms of communication to confirm or coordinate the event. After weeks of ignored emails Ms. Bredbenner claimed she had a "technology issue" and wasn't receiving emails, but refused to refund the money for the event, after having previously stated that she would issue a full refund if we decided to change or cancel at any point time. We had to cancel our entire party to celebration the adoption of our daughter and make other arrangements due to the Wandering Brew's scam. read more

If I could give them 0 stars I would. Never use this company! First of all their communication was terrible. They are FAR from professional. It would take them forever to get back to my emails. It was to the point where I had to send multiple emails before I even got a response. I was worried about them showing up to our reception because of how little contact I had with them. We supplied all of the alcohol (which was part of the contract and we were fully aware of that) but yet they made the drinks extremely weak to the point where MULTIPLE guests asked us if they even used any alcohol at all. We were extremely disappointed by this as we purchased more than enough alcohol and spent a significant money on it so that our guests could enjoy it. We ended up taking so much home because they didn't use it. We bought it for a reason which was for them to actually USE it rather than for it to sit in the cabinet. We also paid for a drink station that included flavored waters and iced tea as well as a full iced coffee bar during the dessert hour. Neither of these were provided during our reception!!! Both services totaled close to $200.00. I didn't realize they didn't provide these services until the day after the wedding. When I emailed them about this they didn't answer (not surprising) so I emailed them mulitple times with no response. They finally answered when my husband emailed them threatening legal action stating that they would mail the refund check ASAP. We never received the check. Completely unacceptable. They don't allow you to leave any reviews on Google or on Facebook and now I know why. They are a TERRIBLE business and I would never recommend them to anyone. They are unrelieable, bad communicators, and will ultimately take your money without providing the services listed in the contract. Stay away from them at all costs. Unfortunately I can not give 0 stars. I was at an event recently where this Mobile Bar was set up. All started out fine until the bartender decided to start taking numerous breaks while people were trying to get drinks. I understand the need for breaks however being a person that has worked in the hospitality business in the past, there are appropriate times to take those breaks. Also having the DJ announce that the bar would be temporarily closed would have been much more helpful rather than having 20-30 people standing on line waiting to get a cocktail. The bartender then proceeded to throw a hissy fit when guests (who had already generously tipped her) helped themselves to drinks that were supplied by the hosts of the event to begin with. Luckily the guests helped remove the drinks from the trailer and set up a bar of their own to continue the festivities without delay. Honestly the drinks ended up being mixed much faster and much tastier than the paid "professional" provided. This was definitely one of biggest shit show companies I've seen operating at events in my lifetime. The Wandering Brew should wander their company to the bankruptcy line. read more

If I could give zero stars, I would. I am so disappointed in Jessica, the owner, and this company. Where to begin... First, they were never great at responding and I had to send several emails to get a response. I booked "The Wandering Brew" for my wedding in 2022. I unexpectedly got pregnant and had to post-pone. They did move the date. However, come 2023, my wedding venue had changed. This was NOT my fault, and something that I did not personally cancel. We had to pivot and change our venue and no longer needed "The Wandering Brew" I paid $918 dollar deposit for this service. I kindly explained the situation and asked to be refunded as there was NEVER anything on the invoice that said- deposits are non-refundable. Now, the owner claims it was on her website at the time... websites are always changing and you can't expect your clients to read that. It should be CLEARLY stated on the invoice. There was also no signed contract by me. Jessica told me she wouldn't give me my refund back because it was on the contract, website, and invoice before. It was something they "didn't do". She offered to let me use the bar another time, but that would not suffice for me. I went back and couldn't find ANY email from her that stated that in the invoice. So when I asked for her to send me the original one, she emailed me back with an ALTERED invoice. She says she doesn't do this, but scroll down to the other reviews ha. She said she created a new one, but didn't change anything. I have my old email that I forwarded to my attorney to show him it said nothing about deposits on there. She claimed that it was all on her website and still wouldn't refund me. I am guessing the business is hurting due to her lack of customer service and poor communication. She would rather tarnish her reputation and risk going to court I suppose. I really hope more people read these reviews and do not fall under this trap. If you do book, make sure you know what you are getting. I feel awful for all these brides and grooms before me. It was a blessing to find out about this business before I went through with her. I will be taking some sort of action because this is not right. Very upsetting. I will gladly upload my email with the original details vs. the one she just sent me that was changed. I hardly write reviews, let alone bad ones, but this one is needed. I'd rate them "0" stars if I could. Seemed great at first, but as my wedding date approached they got worse and worse. They became extremely difficult to reach and highly unresponsive. Less than a month before my wedding they CANCELLED on me without any legitimate reasoning. This is AFTER I paid a deposit. It is now almost 4 months later and I still have not received my $250 depisit from them after I was promised a refund! STAY AWAY! read more

I would literally give it a 0 if i could but i can't. The bartender, Lucy, was so disgustingly rude to my bridal party. Telling some of my bridesmaids that "they had to much to drink" in the beginning of the reception when they had about 2 drinks total at that point, refusing service to my bridal party, and would yell at the girls because they were first in line... HELLO? BRIDAL PARTY IS ALWAYS FIRST! Yelling at grown adults for "skipping the line" I mean come on, are u serious? She also opened the bar super late when we gave her a time to start serving and OBVIOUSLY PAID HER FOR HER TIME just like everyone else working the wedding!! Stay away. I don't even know where to begin. This was the rudest, most unprofessional, sloppy, unorganized, company I ever had the misfortune of having to work with. I am a catering manager for a successful company. We offer our bartending services (for a fraction of the cost this company charges) in addition to full catering with actual glassware, professional RAMP certified bartenders, dressed appropriately with ties. For reasons I am unaware of, my Bride and Groom decided to use their services. I was embarrassed not only for this wonderful couple, but for the image this company portrayed, worrying that their guests thought they were affiliated with our catering company. They were not set up in time for cocktail hour. The guests stood around while we were passing hors d'oeuvres waiting for the bar to open. When it finally did the line was so long because their "traveling bar" wasn't ready in time either. They wore t-shirts. (Fine for a backyard BBQ, but a wedding?) There were no garnishes for the drinks, no cocktail napkins. (Even though their website touts "complimentary straws and napkins"). Mind blown. That's about $7. But they certainly didn't forget their tip jar. That was right out in the open. They serve out of CHEAP PLASTIC CUPS. Seriously. Like the kind you get from a water dispenser. I'm pretty sure the bride wanted a champagne toast, because I noticed an entire cooler full of champagne. (OH YES! I almost forgot. You still have to purchase all of your own alcohol. That is not included in their rate. ) Yet I did not see one person drinking champagne nor were there champagne PLASTIC CUPS on the table. They did not bring enough ice (luckily the venue has a stocked ice cooler ) which unfortunately had to be charged to the bride and groom. They ran out of limes (the only garnish they brought because Corona bottles were served) and bottled water. Here is where it gets really good. If we are the catering company and not providing bar service - you should bring a bar back or a server to clean up after yourselves correct? (Given the exhorbitant amount they charge they can certainly afford it). Not the case. They ranted several times it was "the caterers " job to clear the mess their service was providing! It states on their website they clean up. Heck, if they wanted to split their tips with my servers perhaps I would not have gotten so irate at that. But being a professional and wanting things to look that way and make a memorable day for my Bride and Groom, we cleaned up after them. They were told by the venue they had to empty their garbage behind the bar and take it to the dumpster. They did not. They did not empty or clean coolers after leaving. It was a nightmare not only for us, but for the in-house venue coordinator who was left to pick up the pieces. I could go on and on. I am scratching my head wondering how they are still in business. The Wandering Brew...where to start. 1 star is too much. They had zero communication with us after we signed the contract despite sending well over 7 emails and attempting multiple calls. It wasn't until our tenacious wedding planner managed to track down a personal phone number that they were able to get in touch with them and even then sporadically. Terrible communication. They claimed they would deliver all alcohol to the venue and we signed on for two bartenders. They didn't deliver on either. They claimed a policy change that they no longer deliver alcohol despite it being in our contract and tried to offer a coffee bar as compensation that was also already in our contract. On day of ceremony only one bar tender showed up. The other they claimed was "sick" only to discover they double booked the day and she was at another venue. Bartender we DID get had a terrible attitude and was discourteous to our guests. We also discussed to not have a tip jar on the bar. A minor thing that we planned to compensate the bartender for after the venue. Well she had a fit and shut down the bar for 40 minutes THEN went on "break". It wasn't until our guests decided to start serving themselves that she called her boss and simply left the venue in the middle of the reception. The owner assured our wedding planner that he would come to the scene and "make things right". To his credit he did arrive an hour later after we had family take on the bartending service and simply secured his trailer and left. Totally unprofessional in every way. Would never recommend to anyone and suggest you look elsewhere. We will be demanding a refund or will be pursuing legal action. read more

I would leave 0 stars if I could!! I knew something was fishy when I noticed they turned their reviews off after not receiving responses for months on end and never receiving things they promised in our contract, or half assed responses. Jessica is a horrible communicator and incredibly disorganized. I finally reached out again the Monday before our Saturday wedding to confirm details, and she let me know they couldn't use glassware anymore (a huge reason why we hired them - it was included) and would be using plastic ware because of a recent change with health code , and also the bar we had rented had a tree fall on it and they weren't sure if it would be repaired by Saturday but that they could use one of their other bars. Why am I just learning this and I'm the one who reached out to you?? After discussing options and plastic choices and not hearing from her for a few days i assumed all was back on track... I was on the way to my Friday night rehearsal dinner and I received a TEXT message that they would not be coming and had to cancel on us because the tires were dry rotted or some BS. We used a venue that we had to bring in the alcohol,mixers, etc and needed licensed/insured bartenders to serve and now we had absolutely no cups/glassware or bartenders or mobile bar. Luckily we had a great contact at the venue and coordinator who saved the day finding us last minute licensed/insured bartenders and glasses, and my dad had to put it on his insurance, but there were definitely tears shed that night because of these idiots and we ended up having to spend more money. They never followed up with us to apologize properly or make sure we figured it out, and we had to hound them for our money back. We finally threatened to get an attorney and she refunded it, but a dollar or two short. Seriously? I don't know if she's just bad at math or was being petty, but I can tell you I have never been more patient and polite in my life than I was with these people.
