He is very quick to respond to e-mail correspondence and very thorough on phone conversations. There is so much that goes into these days, but the barn truly has it down to a science. With easy to follow brochures and forms, the planning went so very smoothly. We wanted a very intimate celebration, so we chose a weekday package. It was so affordable and very inclusive, we basically had to sign and choose food and a few decor options. It may sound like we had a simple day, but it was truly anything but. Kim and Kelly designed the most beautiful floral arrangements for the day - I am still shocked at how perfect they were. The entire staff at the barn moved like a well-oiled machine. The Captains House, The Hilltop Pavilion, The Pine Grove, and The Barn are out of a fairy tale. I can't even begin to describe how perfect and beautiful our day was. She wanted a very small immediate family and close friends only wedding and we could not be any happier with her choice for the venue. The Roxbury Barn setting, staff, and food were exceptional! We only had a total of 15 attendees, including the bride and groom. The mountain and luxurious green setting, clear crisp air and forest was a perfect setting for the wedding ceremony. The barn and outdoor area was extremely comfortable for the reception. Every staff member was attentive and very friendly. The food was delicious. Casper (the owner) and Kim (wedding coordinator) made sure that each guest was well taken care of. Our daughter raved about her experience planning the wedding and said that everything exceeded her expectations! We have never seen our daughter happier and so stress free. I found Katie and she was amazing. She was a God sent. She gave us options for everything and walked us through everything. The time difference was a struggle, but she was up late repling to all my messages. I'm the type of bride, where I just wanted to show up and everything was taken care of. Since we were planning from a distance, she made that happen. She went over and beyond with great ideas. On our way to the airport to NY, for our wedding, we found out my husband's suit never arrived in NY. Since we were about to get on a plane, I texted Katie our situation and when we arrived in NY, she had taken care of everything and his suit was being sent overnight. She is absolutely amazing with kids. My son and nephew got a bit wild and put their swords on top of the closet and they were told they would get it back once they were done getting ready and behaved. They called her "the boss" and kept telling my sister in law and I that "the boss" took it. We applauded her. My 2 year old grandson was extra crazy and wanted to run around as we were waiting to go into our reception. She scooped him and kept him in line till we were announced. Well January 2017 comes around to find out our ORIGINAL venue canceled on us. We frantically looked for a new place right away with no luck. We called Capriotti's and spoke to Cortney, the wedding coordinator and explained our situation. Tom, one of the owners, told us to come THAT day to see the space and talk to them. We just happened to call the DAY AFTER their April 22nd bride called and canceled THANK YOU GOD. What are the odds?? As soon as we pulled up the venue we thought...there is no way we can afford this place. We were wrong. They worked with us to match our prior venues prices and we even ended up saving money. Cortney and Tom were there for us every step of the way and they made everything SO easy. The day of, I knew we had nothing to worry about. Each guest was greeted at the door with our signature cocktails. They set up everything exactly how we wanted and then some. It was everything I have always dreamed my wedding would be and more. The food was superb and every guest told us that it was the BEST food and service they have EVER had at a wedding. Not to mention how beautiful everything was.
