This was our second stay at FivePine Lodge & Spa, and it was every bit as memorable as our first…read more We came for a long Memorial Day weekend to meet up with friends and unwind, and FivePine delivered exactly what we were looking for: a peaceful luxury retreat in the middle of the forest. The cabins are spacious, beautifully designed, and filled with thoughtful, high-end touches. We always try to book one along the edge of the property facing the trees, and the views never disappoint. Waking up to a forest instead of a parking lot is hard to beat. The bed is exceptionally comfortable, and the bathroom is better than most luxury hotels, with a separate water closet, a large shower, and a deep soaking tub that fills from the ceiling. Beyond the cabins, the entire property is designed for relaxation. There are walking trails throughout, a welcoming lodge with plenty of space to gather, a well-maintained pool, and extensive grounds that encourage you to slow down and enjoy the surroundings. One of our favorite things about FivePine is its location. It's an easy walk into downtown Sisters, which meant we could start our mornings with a stroll to Sisters Coffee and a visit to the local bookstore before heading back to enjoy the rest of the property. The lodge also has restaurants, a movie theater, and a spa on site, which I've reviewed separately. I could keep describing it, but honestly, the photos tell the story better than I can. If you're looking for a place to disconnect from the noise and reconnect with nature without sacrificing comfort, FivePine is a wonderful choice. Will we be back? Absolutely. The beds are comfy (I even bought the sheets) too. Staff was friendly and fast with service. The vibes are also very "forest"...you're in the trees but can also call for champagne. It's a good big track, hosts professional tournaments, well maintained Gated community built round and midst an 18 hole course of lovely design, views to the 'sisters' and other spectacular mountains is tastefully done. The grounds are beautifully maintained, the landscaping is outstanding, the restrooms are consistently clean, and the staff is generally friendly and helpful. It's obvious that a great deal of pride goes into the upkeep. Our one significant concern is the site assignment policy. For the past five years, we've requested a specific site when reserving a full year in advance, and each year we've been reassigned upon arrival. This year, we were placed next to the highway, with significant road and foot traffic noise. When we asked about it, we were told that larger sites are sometimes held for bigger RVs, but we later saw a much smaller rig in the site we had requested, which made the policy difficult to understand. We absolutely understand that managing reservations is complicated, but when all sites cost the same, it does seem reasonable that long-time guests who've reserved a year ahead should have a fair shot at the site they requested. This has become frustrating enough that, for the first time in many years, my wife and I are seriously considering staying elsewhere. That's disappointing because we truly enjoy this resort and would rather continue returning. We hope management takes another look at this policy, because fixing it would make an already wonderful place even better.

And you're really close to an amazing view of the Three Sisters Mountains. The rooms are comfy, open, and spacious. I opted for the Deluxe King Suite with Kitchenette and loved it. The bed was very comfortable, and I felt right at home here. I even saw some deer hanging out next to the property, which I see often at home. This property also has a courtyard area with a fire pit, hot tub, and cold tub. My air-conditioned room had 2 TVs, one for each room, which was nice. The free, Wi-Fi was also nice, but the extra touch was the various cables they had in the room--great for people who forget to bring that one thing they really needed. I would definitely stay in this establishment again.
