Despite being located near the heart of tourism in the Temple Bar area, this little gem of a pub has it all: good food, live music, exceptional service, and a decent pint of Guinness!
We came here after the Guinness storehouse tour and a round of beers at the nearby Stags Head pub. The waitress was the most friendly and accommodating one we had in Dublin! She helped move us from the back of the pub to a table near the music. It was very loud but in our slightly buzzed state, it was fine! See the video.
The traditional bacon and cabbage dish was delicious, not too salty and hit the spot. The cheeseburger is customizable and tasty, although it is quite greasy and dense. However it fit our needs after 4 beers that afternoon.
The walls have interesting photos of the Irish migration to the USA, which is a nice touch for a pub that probably attracts hundreds of Americans each day. Highly recommend this joint if you are in Temple Bar! read more
