For example, a recent issue of Boston Magazine and the list of local brews was very well represented at AW&S. And an excellent article in Saveur about craft American Bourbon and Whiskey had half of the 12 bottles and at amazing prices too - cheaper that Colonial Spirits, Wegmans and very competitive with New Hampshire. Love the beer and wine tasteings on Sat! I can usually land a parking spot outside the store but Fridays and Saturdays can be crazy.

It's been empty for years. This is now a very good beer and wine store. Open and clean and well labeled, they carry a good selection of mid-level wines- nothing over $20 that I could see. Some hard liquor - some brands I'd never seen before which was neat. Excellent beer selection and a number of local places are here too. Medusa from Hudson is here. The sell lotto tickets too. Cashier was very friendly and helpful not only to us but others in the store. It looks like some other business was meant to go in here - I figured a brand new place would be sparking but the floor has had some repairs and there is open space towards the back. What I am here to talk about is the food... specifically sandwiches. I work two buildings down and have eaten sandwiches from them for years now. Did you know they make sandwiches? Surprise! A hidden sandwich shop! We needed one and they delivered. They've had their up and downs with the deli, but things seem to be in high gear now. They have a big menu, and they're happy to customize any piece of your order. The guys I see regularly behind the counter are friendly, helpful and make a quality sandwich. So you should go, and support the sandwich shop! Keep them growing! They've started to make hot sandwiches (and some non-sandwich things, too). I've only had cold so far. I typically eat veg for lunch, so I've had their hummus wrap many, many times. It's simple and good. They've added a couple more veg-friendly sandwiches that I look forward to trying (and my veg-only coworker is thankful for). I've also had their "Rare Roast Beef" wrap, which I don't think is on the menu any longer (or has a new name?) and the sandwich version of what now a wrap: the Thanksgiving burrito. (I think I mangled that name) Both excellent. They use excellent cold cuts and cheeses, I think mostly Boar's Head? Anyhow, go and be surprised. Sandwiches! (And a full deli, and a mini grocery store, and nice employees...)
