Staff is friendly and knowledgeable. Also up to code with the COVID-19 guidelines , everyone wears a mask and when a patron walks in without one they immediately get on it. Can find almost anything you are looking for here, great selection. Also room for can and bottle redemption but it's very small so you need to wait your turn if it's already at capacity. read more

Great selection on hand. If they don't have it, they'll order it. Staff is always available, friendly, and helpful!

They have a great selection of wine, liquor and beer. They are a fairly large store so they have a slightly bigger selection than most places around. I can always find something here and the staff is always very helpful. read more

The good: great wine selection, help full staff, huge beer selection, clean, bright and there is even a deli attached. The not so good: Beer prices for domestics are on the high side, normal for this area. read more

Bacon's Wine & Spirits - shelves of wine and spirits - Beer, Wine & Spirits Near Me - Hudson, Massachusetts

Bacon's in Hudson is my go-to for anything alcohol related. Bacon's carries the basics plus stuff you didn't know you wanted or needed. They have always been knowledgeable when I have called to ask about a particular beer or wine that I couldn't find. If they don't have it, they always offer to order it just for me! I love their selection of wine, which is very well organized by region and type. read more

Bacon's Wine & Spirits - Beer cooler - Beer, Wine & Spirits Near Me - Hudson, Massachusetts

I used Bacon's to provide a beer and wine service for a party. If I could give this place (and Charlie in particular) 6 stars, I would. Bacon's made the complicated process of serving alcohol at a private event (eg: permits, volume estimates, selecting drinks that everyone will like) so easy for me. Charlie was my go-to person for my event and he was phenomenal. He handled everything and anticipated my needs and even handled things that I didn't even know needed handling. He served at my function and was pleasant, professional and helpful, everything you want in a bartender. They carry a great selection at the store but if you don't see what you are looking for, just ask and if they can make it happen, they will! Their prices are very reasonable as well. I would definitely recommend this place for anything from picking up a six pack to providing a bar service for a huge event. read more

Bacon's is a large, clean, well-stocked liquor store, in a great location, with a friendly staff and reasonable prices. They have a large variety of micro-brews, local brewery offerings (Wachusett, Harpoon, Sam, etc.), in addition to large stocks of many different varieties of wines, and the liquors and cigars you would expect of any liquor store. They also have four deposit machines, and are connected to Brad's Deli--a deli worth a visit in its own right. read more

Me and my wife live in Bolton and opposed to getting our pockets gouged by the country cupboard we usually drive up to bacons. Aside from the friendly service the selection is great the carry a wide wide selection of wines and liquors as well as an awesome selection of beers: small batch stuff, growlers, hard ciders a plenty. You name it they generally have it! read more

Bacon's is the best liquor store overall in Hudson and my personal favorite in town. Beer wise they stock crafts, domestics, imports, mini-kegs, and you can order kegs. They've got a walk-in cooler with more beer for those without a fridge at home. They stock wine from just about every wine growing region and grape varietal, including a sizable - though, unfortunately, recently diminished - section of Portuguese wines. They've got all the kinds of liquor you'd need, from well to top shelf, and accoutrements like bottled mixers and bitters. It's a clean, well-organized, decent-sized store with a respectable selection and for most occasions you should find what you're looking for here. That being said, some of the other reviews make it seem like a huge store with a boundless selection of wicked obscure craft beers and liquors, and that's not really the case. It's the biggest store in Hudson, for sure, but it's not as big as some of the serious specialty liquor stores in the area, such as Julio's in Westborough or Yankee Spirits in Sturbridge. And though they have a decent quantity of craft beers, with a strong craft exemplar from pretty much every region in the US, they have very few international crafts and it's rare you'll find even more obscure New England craft beer here. Certainly not a dealbreaker, but good to know if you're a craft beer devotee like me. read more

Really impressive selection of gluten-free beer (3 different brands in the fridge section) and organic wines (at least 2 of which were vegan). Love how everything is laid out in the store so it's easy to find exactly what you're looking for. Really nice guys working there too. I'll be back for sure. read more

Great experience! They have a HUGE selection, and when they didn't have what I was looking for they were willing to check to see if they could order it and call me when it came in. Definitely will be back. read more

Look here. I need to update my review. After becoming more familiar with Bacon's customer service, newsletters, and tastings I am bumping them up to 5 stars. Also, they are big supporters of community events in Hudson. 5 stars. I stand corrected. read more

Nice kid helps me find the wine that I want, hipster dude with big stupid earplugs just stands there and looks at you when you put your stuff on the counter. It's like, hello, how about saying hello and a smile. The prices here are great, the service here... Not so great. It seems like the younger kids are more into helping you then the hipster dudes. The owners are wonderful, and always have been. They will always converse with you and make you feel like you're welcome. Hipster with giant earplugs? Not so much. read more

Good selection, fair prices, nice store. Best in town by far, though that doesn't mean much.

Awesome local liquor store. Great selection of wine and beer over a wide range of prices. Some hard-to-find liquors. Great 2 for $16, 2 for $20 bottles of wine deals. Clean, well-stocked, knowledgeable and friendly staff - it's both great and dangerous that this place is so close to me! read more

Sorry for the 2stars Bacon's it's not for your store or products it is towards the help staff. I have gone numerous of times to look for a peticular beer and ask the clerk we're it's located or looks it up on the computer and tells me. Yes sir it says we stock it and then I ask were would it be located. And that's we're the chase begins. Walking up and down aisles looking wasting 20 minutes to not even find it and the clerk is clueless as to we're anything is. Off to another big chain store and I was in and out read more

Bacons has decent prices and selection but they essentially scold me for having an out of state license every time I try to purchase something from their business. They ask for my car registration AND visually inspect my car in addition to my license, with a significant air of pretentiousness that is totally unwarranted. I come to purchase liquor from your small business; not to receive advice about my residency status. Will not return to this store anymore. read more

This place is great! I work in NH but this place actually has cheaper priced items than some things in NH. They have an excellent selection of beer, wine and liquor. read more

Update: The company contacted me directly and appears to have a legitimate excuse for the response. Apparently my email was forwarded and the reply sent to the original addressee instead of myself.
