She was attentive, answered all of our questions about the menu, and offered excellent recommendations on the restaurant's most popular dishes. Our friends shared the lasagna, while my husband and I ordered the veal parmigiana and the rigatoni Bolognese. Every dish was beautifully prepared, generously portioned, and absolutely delicious. The veal was tender, the Bolognese was rich and flavorful, and the lasagna earned rave reviews from our friends. The entire meal exceeded all four of our expectations. Great food, outstanding service, and a warm atmosphere made for a memorable dining experience. If you're visiting the Pinehurst area, Lisi is well worth adding to your itinerary. Be sure to ask for Hannah. She made an already wonderful meal even better.

After a few nights of big events one chill dinner in what felt like someone's home was welcomed. We had a prefix menu. I tried the meatballs and they were great. Had a really nice salad. Then decided for the lasagna as my main. It was cheesy meaty and flavorful. After this meal I got the best sleep of the trip to no surprise. The cocktails were good but the focus was on wine. A great Pinehurst option for dinner.

They have a great pasta selection as well and all have been decent portions and tasty. If you want pasta with a loud setting go to Lisi down the street as they have a great pasta selection. However, Villaggio has pasta just about as good with a quiet white table cloth setting. Very different experience. They also unlike Lisi allow you to bring wine but their corkage fee at $35 is a bit steep. All in all an excellent spot for dinner.

The place is large! They make a decent martini, and have Bleu cheese stuffed olives...definitely a plus. Started with the she-crab soup (good) and a half chopped salad (very good.) Also like that you can get half a salad for a lesser price if ordered with an entree. The lasagna was delicious! Such a rich & meaty sauce, yet the noodles were thin & tender so it didn't feel like a heavy meal. My husband's steak was perfectly medium rare. Complimentary bread with dipping oil was good, and our server was friendly & attentive.

Next time I'll try a different pizza that might be a little more traditional. You order at the counter and get a number here. They bring your food to the table. They have no fountain drinks or draft beer. All bottles and cans. All food is on paper plates with plastic forks and knives. We ate at a table close to the windows. The dining room is painted black with zero atmosphere. Overall the staff were pleasant and helpful. Of course when you order they flip that screen around looking for a gratuity where there is very little service provided. This could be a great spot if they stepped it up a little bit.
