The pizza buffet was great! Nothing groundbreaking, but so good. It's definitely better than the average Pizza Inn or Cici's. They kept the pizza bar full of great options, all of which were warm and tasted fresh. I saw staff put out several new pizzas during the maybe 30 minutes I was there. As many have mentioned, the mozzarella sticks (not like fried sticks, more like pieces of extra cheesy cheese pizza with garlic instead of marinara) are unmatched. I couldn't believe how reasonable the price was! Less than $10 for lunch is a rarity these days. The service was great as well. Very friendly. I will be returning soon! read more

We're new in town and trying to find good pizza. Vito's is fantastic and the best so far. We thought we'd try pizza cafe next. We ordered a large 'deep dish' pizza a garlic rolls with cheese. Without going into needless detail, this is Pizza Hut, papa John's kind of pizza not what we were hoping for. It was about frozen pizza quality with cheese that doesn't melt. The cafe is in my neighborhood and it is very nice and clean. Love the pizza. My favorite is the Hawaiian. Service is always excellent.

My visit didn't start well. The manager was assisting a new employee with the credit card reader when I arrived, and proceeded to ignore me for a minute or two. Training is important in a service business, I get it, but it could be argued that customers are more important. In any event, once he made himself available, I was seated quickly and ordered a small thin crust supreme pizza and a draft Yuengling. The pizza was average; the beer was good. Service was friendly and efficient. Tab was ~$14 before tip. Not sure what the pizza scene in Pinehurst is like, but I hope there's better pizza elsewhere in town; this wasn't impressive. read more

Came in tonight with my Mom for a pizza. Ordered a medium hand tossed 3 topping pizza. We were seated and taken care of by a lovely server. She was handling the whole dining room including all COVID procedures like a pro! Our pizza came out very quickly and was absolutely delicious! Stopped here after seeing this place on Yelp. It was just a few blocks from the doctors office I was at, so thought it worth a try. We did the lunch buffet, which is a great value at about $8. The staff really impressed me with their warmth and friendliness. The pizza didn't blow me away, but I would say it's great for the value. The thin crust they have is perfectly crispy. My son was also impressed that the pepperoni on the pizzas were crispy. My personal favorite thing was the pepperoni and jalapeño pizza. They also had a veggie spaghetti that was surprisingly good. They had a few school groups here while we were here and I was impressed by the attention they gave the kiddos, but no one else in the restaurant was neglected either. It's clean and has an Italian/Golf theme to the decor. It's worth a try if you're craving quick pizza. read more

Not sure I'll recommend this place. Walked in to place a take out order. I was approached and asked if I wanted to be seated. I let the young lady I wanted to place an order for take out and she walked off?? Ahhhh, ok, not to be bothered if I'm not dinning in?. Ok, Someone else approached me and I let him know I wanted to place a take out order, he didn't offer a menu or anything "what do you want?". Well, this was my first time here. I didn't know what they offered on the menu, no one offered a menu, when I asked the gentleman for a menu he pulled one out and then stood there. I asked for a minute to look over it. After a few seconds he then asked if he could 'go over the menu with me?'. I can read, thank you. I didn't order any food. I felt like I was a bother from the moment I walked in. Wait staff only wanted to help someone dinning in and guy at the register was obviously too busy. Sad this is the treatment given here. Been there 3 times, each progressively worse: First time for take-out: that was a good experience. Nobody else was in the restaurant. Pizza was pretty good. Second time for their buffet: so disorganized that they couldn't get the beverages to the table. Chalked-it-up to being an off-night for the waitress. Third time, even more disorganized. We stood there waiting to be seated while the host (I think the owner) ran around like a chicken with his head cut off. We left after waiting and waiting to be seated in any of the many available seats. This place is just poorly managed. My advice, get a good pizza without the pain at Vitos. read more

This locally owned restaurant is great! Even better, they deliver within a certain distance. The salads are fresh, wholesome, and not from a bag. The pasta and sauce is amazing, they will even bake it with cheese on top. To top it all off, it is quite inexpensive! I will say that I'm not a fan of the pizza and don't purchase that item, but that's personal preference. I have many friends that love the pizza and thoroughly enjoy the lunch buffet. Next time I will be trying the egg plant Parmesan which a friend raves about. Very polite staff, I have never had a bad experience the couple of times I have eaten here. read more

I have been eating here for almost 20 years. That statement alone should say something about this place. The owner always welcomes us personally and knows exactly what we want. They have a buffet at lunch and also a few nights for dinner. There is a wide variety of pizzas, their signature baked cheese sticks, desert pizza, pasta and salad. We/I do like pizza cafe. The price is great and when you come in, just tell the waitress what you want, if you don't like what is on the bar. For me I don't like thin crust so I order thick pan. I have read the reviews and one I do agree with is this restaurant does need a face lift, maybe to brighten up the sitting area. I have not ordered take out so I cannot review that portion of the business. One waitress usually takes care of the entire eating area, so i can see why, if asked for take out she may not be entirely engaging, however no excuse. Remember, prices are cheap, you get a bunch of food, veggie bar is fresh with good selection, so don't push the envelope and try to make this into a Vito's pizza unless you want to start paying the Vito prices. read more
