This place is such a welcome addition to the area. The venue is immaculate and beautiful. The service is very personal and anticipatory. And the food is great! Donna in events is a wonder. Can't say enough - definitely consider them for any event you are planning!

Beautiful view and attentive service. Food a C rating only. We will try it again with different choices to see if things improve.

It's a little confusing at first. The Bistro appeared to be the nicest, indoor option. It wasn't super busy around 7pm on a Monday. A handful of tables were occupied but plenty of room for walk ins on a Monday night. Our server was so friendly and bubbly. A sweet girl from NH. We chatted all things New England and Kittery. Her service was on point. My hubby and I decided to share all food, to try more. We started with the seasonal salad with the maple vinaigrette. I was hesitant at first but it was delicious. For appetizers, we ordered the Oysters Rockefeller and the traditional Mussels. They were both fantastic. I liked that the mussels sauce wasn't overly garlicky like a lot can be. Simplistic and salty. For our entree we shared the New York strip. I've never had a steak quite like this. Instead of heavily seasoning, like nearly every other steakhouse, it tasted like this steak was marinated. It was simplistically delicious. A little char, a little acidity, and a savoriness of rosemary. Gosh it was just so dang good! The broccolini was heavily peppered, not bad but just be aware. The potatoes au gratin were also unlike anything I've ever had. I don't even like French onion soup but it tasted like the most delicious French onion soup I'd ever had. The cheesy oniony potatoes were simply to die for. I know that I'm going to be craving them once I return home. I wish they'd package these things and ship them! We toasted our anniversary with the Brut champagne. Lighter than the average and not nearly as pungent of how Bruts normally are. Highly recommend coming here and trying a little bit of everything!

From the first time we reached out to him, he was communicative and friendly, answering all of our questions. He was super helpful in the lead-up to our wedding with finalizing our reception timeline and helping us make some music choices. He was a great emcee and made us feel so comfortable, and most importantly, he kept the dance floor completely full all night! Our guests had a blast at our wedding and he was a huge part of that. You can really tell Chris loves what he does from the level of detail he puts into his work, his honesty with you on timeline questions, and just how hard he works to make everything perfect. The dance floor was never empty and he kept my party dancing their butts off. Also - if you are debating on the up-lighting DO IT. It made the whole tent feel like a romantic setting for dinner and down-right the best party spot after food closed up. Chris, you made planning so much easier and the night a perfect blast. This quaint gastropub doesn't look like much from the outside, but inside, this seems like a place where locals are regulars and tourists are happy to get a table at this "no reservations" joint. It's dark inside (no photos) and a little cramped. The bartenders are serving double duty mixing and pouring drinks while also playing DJ and spinning vinyl records. And it felt like everyone inside was exactly where they wanted to be at the moment...enjoying each other's company and sharing drinks and food. The menu is about the size you would expect from a small kitchen - a fair number of appetizer dishes meant for sharing, and a handful of entrees, ranging from casual to a bit more refined. The grilled cheese and tomato soup ($19) was made with a hearty artisan bread that hit the spot on a chilly evening. Similarly, the coq au vin ($26) was classic comfort food, with perfectly cooked smashed fingerling potatoes surrounded by a rich, decadent reduction sauce smothering meaty mushrooms and soft pearl onions. Note, the coq au vin did take a long time to prepare, so not the dish to order if you're in a hurry. A couple of not-too-sweet lemon ricotta donuts (with chocolate sauce) was a great way to end the meal.

Well, I'm happy that they were because dinner here was SOOOO good! The bartender helped us choose a bottle of champagne to start. We shared everything. One of each of the deviled eggs each. The maple cranberry was interesting. The sour cream chive one was to die for! The ricotta gnocchi was elegant and fluffy. The sauce made it over the top. The ribs were good, but I'm a Midwest girl. They just don't compare to back home. The clam linguine was seasoned perfectly. It was quite filling. We ended with the Apple Olive Oil cake with maple ice cream. The cake itself was quite dense and dry. The ice cream helped. I would not order this dessert again. Service was quite SLOWWWW, and for no reason as they weren't very busy while we were there. There were long gaps between courses and then once we were finished we kind of just sat there for a while. The food was worth it but something is not running efficiently and could be improved. Still giving 5 starts because it was so good and everyone was welcoming.
