Turns out it was the old building and they were moved to a new one off Nottingham, but they were having an event in the old spot in a few days so staff was on hand to get it setup. off to the new location I go and was impressed with how organized and clean the store was. In my two stops that day, I dealt with 2 different staff members and I have to say, AMAZING! When I found it (factory seals never disturbed) all they could say was, "Its factory sealed and we didn't do it" must be they package their items blind folded as it was very visible through the clear window. We HAD to stop in here! The young lady at the front told us of their current special, B3G1. We couldn't pass up that deal. I was fan-girling a little too much to take pictures, lol. They had great comics, figurines and etc on sale. I just hate that I've never been able to find a Wonder Woman comic storage box yet. The books inside are individually priced, while the books outside are discounted to 10 or 25 cents based on which side it is on. I could have spent hours there. After selecting way too many books, I took them up to the counter to check out. As the friendly employee rang up the books, we chatted about D&D. They have a selection of games to try out and plenty of sitting space for you and your friends to test out and have a good time. They offer a wide variety of singles on their website. By buying them and picking it up in store, you save on shipping, giving them the selection of an online retailer with lower costs. Their prices are most comparable to TCGPlayer, minus delivery fees. Atomic Empire also carries a limited selection of comics and graphic novels, a nice to have for sure. They also sell plenty of gaming accessories from dice to paint to playmates to deck boxes. Unlike many game stores I've been to, Atomic Empire is pristine. High ceilings and proper ventilation provides constant fresh air. Bright lights and clean floors provides a welcoming atmosphere.
