My go to is the blackened fish sandwich with mango chutney sauce! Their French fries are so good! Sounds silly because I've probably eaten a zillion fries in my lifetime but they are delicious. One of my sons is a fan of the triple threat burger, another one loves the cheesesteak and one of the wraps. The wings are great. I don't eat coconut but I have a friend who loves the coconut shrimp. Plus who can argue with a frozen drink on the beach. This is a consistently great place, excellent atmosphere for family, children, friends, date night. Did I mention they have a swing and live music? The bar is lively. And has all the games on the TV's They do not take reservations but we have never had to wait more than 15 minutes for a table. Highly recommend this place if you're in the area, or a local who wants to pretend to be a tourist for a day.

The fish and chips are a bit overcooked and the smoke fish appetizer is just okay. However, the service is top notch! We were there as a big group, and they were super accommodating! We absolutely love breakfast, so this was right up our alley. There isn't a ton of parking, but we found a spot without any trouble. We were seated right away, and that's when we met Darcy, our waitress! This lady was genuinely one of the nicest and sweetest servers we've had in a while, and she is wicked good at her job! I ordered two sunny-side up eggs, bacon, raisin toast, and chunky hash browns, and everything was cooked with that true "Mom love" you hope for when you go to a place called Mom's Kitchen. Everything was delicious and cooked to perfection. We also shared a couple of mimosas and really enjoyed relaxing on land for a bit before our long drive home. The bathroom was clean, and there was so much neat memorabilia around the restaurant. I honestly wish I had remembered to bring my phone with me because I would have loved to take pictures of all the little details! Overall, we highly recommend Mom's Kitchen if you're looking for friendly service, a welcoming atmosphere, and that comforting, homemade breakfast that tastes like it was made by a mom away from home. And if you get Darcy as your waitress, you're in for a treat! She was absolutely wonderful!

Owner Dave and his staff made us so enjoy our lunch experience here that we are already planning our return. They have been open about two years and are connected to the resort of the same name just north. Even though we are locals, we had not heard of them until I read a recent Yelp review. It peaked my interest, so I added it to my bookmarks. I'd had to fast for a doctor's appointment that morning so we were hungry. When we made it here on a very rainy day, they were moderately busy. You can have breakfast all day. One side of the menu is breakfast and the other is lunch. Everything was appealing so it was hard to decide. Plus they have a separate dinner menu for certain days, and they even have special events at night on certain days. My husband chose their Greek omelet. It came with his choice of toast and home fried potatoes (with onions and peppers). The fluffy omelet was stuffed with spinach, tomatoes , and feta cheese. He said it was delicious. After talking to a gal dining at the counter who raved about the soup of the day, I ordered their potato soup and half a sandwich. The soup was served hot and topped with bacon bits (cheese?). And yes, it was very good. I got a half chicken salad sandwich on rye. The chicken salad was oh so fresh and not overloaded with mayo. I was very happy with my meal, as well. We look forward to coming back to try more of their menu.

Ms. Carla's warm welcome as the Host/Ambassador who invited us into the Lounge. I was a little intimidated to enter with my service animal. Then I heard the piano with a voice of an angel! Averie is an incredible talent! She literally performs every genre from Sinatra to Billy Joel!!! The lounge is beautiful combining the coziness of new and old world charm! The menu features a Chef inspired selection- I was immediately impressed! I chose a glass of Chardonnay and the Warm Filet Salad. As we enjoyed the evening entertainment we engaged in conversations with other guests both local and international. It's a neighborhood/community hangout! My salad arrived and the presentation was exquisite! Warm medium rare filet, Eggplant, Sun dried tomatoes, fresh mozzarella and so much more.. The filet cut like butter.. delicious salad and a large portion! The menu offers a variety of options-something for everyone and very affordable prices! The atmosphere, the food, the team and the entertainment is the full package you are looking for- for a perfect experience! We chose to sit outside to enjoy the view. It was a little warm, but definitely worth it for the scenery. We ordered the shrimp sushi roll and the fresh catch branzino. The shrimp roll was excellent and definitely our favorite. The branzino was fresh and well prepared, though it wasn't our favorite dish of the meal. Our friends ordered the burger with fries, and they absolutely loved it. The service was friendly and attentive throughout our visit, which made the experience even better. Overall, we had a wonderful time and would definitely come back for the views, great service, and delicious food.

Seating capacity is 600+, so there is the possibility of dining without reservations, but in season, maybe not. Aside from the view and the size, the brunch/lunch menu offers quite a selection and the food is delicious. Their Eggs Benedict with wood fire Beef Tenderloin and the Shrimply Divine Avocado Toast are both really divine. The staff are cordial and attentive. I'd give a five star review but perhaps I'm old school thinking that the staff shouldn't look like they just woke up, nor just came passing by wearing Daisy Dukes. Where's the class? Other than that, I recommend the Beach House for your next meal.

Went with the chicken sandwich, fries, and coleslaw both times--it was pretty decent overall. For dinner I added the pineapple mocktail, which was actually delicious. The lunch server came across as super introverted and not as friendly, but not necessarily rude either. The dinner bartenders were way more personable and kept checking in--except for the one moment when a bartender asked for my order and as I started replying, and they instantly turned to help the couple who just sat down at the bar. I didn't even pause that long (5 seconds max), but it is what it is. Maybe they needed to prioritize the couple as it was the feast day of St. Valentine. Overall, food and drinks were mostly good, but dinner felt awkward right from walking in. I got there a little after 5 PM and they said tables were all reserved/booked, so bar seating was only available--no wiggle room for a solo diner to be at a table on such an occasion apparently. By the time I finished, maybe only 1/3 of the inside and patio was full. As I was sitting at the bar, the oceanfront door was open and the wind was whipping in like crazy--it felt like sitting in a wind tunnel and it was cold, not enjoyable at all. I also had this weird inkling that the bar couple and bartenders were talking about me negatively and laughing. I have no proof, but that was the vibe I got. I wanted to leave as soon as possible.

Zoe's has potential but the restaurant is so poorly managed that all good aspects are diminished…read more The service is well intentioned but on several visits there were long lapses with waiters MIA. The outdoor section has a great beach view but for some people the noise level might be excessive as the small hotel pool gets crowded and both the indoor and outdoor dining spaces are cramped and the tables are really tight. Many appetizers are fried and are similar to that of casual chain restaurants except here they are elevated and use better ingredients. On one visit I had the Poutine and it was surprisingly good and though purists might find fault with the dish we liked it - so much that on the next visit we ordered it, only to be told that it wasn't available. Main courses were also better than expected but there was also no consistency and the quality and preparation varied from each visit. The hotel's owners have tried to make dining here more than a basic Residence Inn experience and kudos to them for trying but the execution needs improvement.

The wings got smaller, the steaks were noticeably thinner, and even the Ahi tuna portions shrank to the point where it just didn't feel worth it anymore. Eventually, we stopped coming altogether. Fast forward to today, and it's a completely different story. Everything we ordered was outstanding. The steaks were massive, juicy, and cooked to perfection, easily some of the best I've had anywhere, and I've paid top dollar at high-end steakhouses. The Hawaiian ribeye, in particular, was incredible. The wings were huge and packed with flavor, honestly some of the best wings I could ask for. They've also stepped up their starters. The new bread with honey butter is insanely good, and the avocado eggrolls with tamarind sauce are absolutely next level. I added on the crab cake which is of insane quality, big lump pieces, it's actually hard to find breading. Service was just as impressive, attentive, smooth, and genuinely welcoming. I even had the chance to speak with the manager, Dani, who explained they made a major shift away from distributors that were hurting their quality. They went back to basics, focused on what made them great in the first place, and it shows in every bite. This was one of the best dining experiences I've had in a long time, across any cuisine. J. Mark's is back, and better than ever.
