No one bothered me while I was browsing, which was what I wanted. Good selection (but not great), as several items I saw elsewhere for over market price were not even in their inventory here. I've had consoles for 36 years and I've been a more serious collector for about the last 7-8 years so I know what I'm looking for and I know approximate market value and the selections I made were in the correct range and I didn't see anything too terribly over-valued. They had a lot of other collectibles in the shop, so I thought it was a cool place, and I'll probably go back next time I'm in the area.

About 5 years ago I moved to buying online but now that the comics themselves have scaled up there cost and these 5 cover issue nonsense is so common it's no longer a value to purchase online. I'll tell you that the two gentleman I spoke to on my two visits were incredibly kind and were able to answer my questions. I collect TMNT comics first so it's nice to actually see those comics in the store. I am getting back into XMen which is good so far and Absolute Batman is wild. I'm in my 40s and have been collecting comics since I was a kid. This is a modern comic shop done right. So I'll stop in twice a month.

It wasn't the day of, but their staff were happy to point me towards their available pokemon TCG offerings, and I picked up a couple singles and some penny sleeves. The staff have always been super helpful and friendly, and didn't make me feel unwelcome at all. I loved seeing the other gaming supplies they have, especially the retro consoles and games. I love this store so much. It's not just a bookstore; it's a gift shop and a community space. The…read moreowner has created a warm and peaceful atmosphere- not quite like a library though lol. It's unbelievable how much she fits in the space. She hosts book events, usually with a food truck or two and other vendors. I could go on and on about the gift type things they carry. I've also bought gift certificates. Most recently I messaged her and she had it ready for me when I stopped by on my way to the office. They also carry cards so it was perfect!
