Really good food at great prices. They'll even deliver to you if you're drinking at the wine bar next door! Would recommend the pork ribs, beef brisket, mac and cheese, and elote corn.

This place is great! First time visiting. Small local feel. And good people behind the bar. The food was quick to show up, very affordable and incredibly yummy. The coleslaw was fresh and tangy without being overly runny. The brisket was tender and juicy. And the fries where seasoned pretty darn good as well. Being close to home, we will be back many times over.

Music was excellent; audible but not intrusive. Comfy chairs. Lower lighting, well placed. Service was excellent, friendly and fast. I think our server's name was Mikayla; a gem. Attentive and observant but never intrusive. Drinks: my old fashioned was absolutely perfect and my husband's margarita was fine. Appetizers: beer cheese was well balanced and a bit runny, which I prefer over the library paste version some places serve. The elotes dip was a standout, mildly spicy, with lime in the cilantro, and warm, crispy chips. (Whatever is in their seasoning for chips and fries should be sold separately -- I wanted to try it on everything.) We probably should have stopped there, as the portions were abundant, but our mains were amazing. Smash burger was insanely juicy, nice and onion-y with a few Crunchy Brown Bits around the edges. The roll was fresh and tender, with a good crust; flavorful, not just a shingle. The fries were the best I've had in Salem. Get the garlic-thyme upgrade; you won't regret it. My ribeye was cooked perfectly. Unfortunately they were out of both compound butters, apparently due to a busy Friday, but everything was well seasoned. The vegetable of the day was roasted Brussels sprouts with a sweet-and-salty sauce, almost like kettle corn; amazing. The outer leaves were caramelized without being burned, and the hearts were tender but not mushy. Crispy fried onions were perfect. Fried potatoes were fine, and enriched by their placement between the steak and the sprouts. The diners who came in before us were all smiles when they left, so it wasn't a fluke. Can't wait to come back!

The burgers were perfectly cooked and the garlic rosemary fries were to die for. They have great ranch here and a spicy sauce, I can't remember what it's called. The only thing that made this place of four stars for me is that the drinks are very small for the price they are. Customer service was amazing. We came in an hour before closing were the last ones there and they treated us so well. I would definitely go back and try other foods!

A couple weeks prior to that incident she did something equally dumbfounding..My best friend and I ordered two ciders and when we went back to our table to take a sip we shocked because what we just drank was clearly not a cider but what seemed like AN IPA? So we went back up the bar thinking she made an honest mistake..NOPE! She said "yeah the one you wanted ran out so I just gave you those"... WHAT???! Whyyyyy would two girls who ordered a low percent fruity cider want an 11% dry imperial IPA??!?? WHYYY again would you not give us a choice, and just serve us whatever? You don't know peoples allergies/tolerances (I mean seriously 6 vs. 11 percent is crazy). So over it.. telling all my friends to not come here anymore. Ps. They let people who smell like poopoo and peepee sit at the bar and offend everyone around them with their odor.

The house-made tartar and fry sauces were very good. A full house kept the staff busy, but they were still attentive and friendly. A band was about four songs into their set when I left. The house sound system does a great job of making sure everyone can hear the band, but the overall noise level was such that folks had to shout to have a conversation. They do post an entertainment schedule, so if you go there to visit with friends, do it when there are no bands playing. From prior experience, I highly recommend the "Dave's Insane" sandwich.

We always eat here on Sunday mornings after church and sometimes one or two times during the week…read more It our place to go because of the staff, the atmosphere and the prices. At this point the staff knows us and sometimes has our drinks out before we even sit down. It is like family and we share good and bad times and a hug or two when needed. We even go down once a week to play games and reconnect after a busy week. When we have company in town this is our go to place for a meal. They are very accommodating in making changes to our food orders with additions or sometimes making something that is not on the menu. The prices are amazing and the food most of the time is excellent. There has been a time or two it has been cold but that is when they are exceptionally busy. The only reason I did not give them a 5 star is that recently there have been a lot of staff changes. Several of our favorite servers left because of the management. This has changed the whole environment, and it is has lost some of the family feeling. We still go with hopes that things will go back to normal but one of the new staff has already left. If management reads this, please realize that the staff is what makes the restaurant and keeps people coming back.

Once I did bit into the chicken it was extremely tasty. The skin was crisp and the meat was moist and tender. I enjoyed the meal. This was a nice diversion from my regular bar & grill. I will definitely make the trip back.
