Absolutely one of the best meals I've had in the Basin. The salmon was cooked perfectly, the salad was crisp & chilled, my Long Island was spot on, and instead of the usual over-boiled mushy vegetables on the side, the chef prepared a delicious combination of fresh onions, mushrooms, broccoli, and tomatoes that was absolutely perfect! College cafeteria quality low cost but really poorly prepared meal. We were traveling thru and saw it but needed tums after the meal

Overall, the service was pretty good, the food was decent, but the atmosphere / ambience was lacking. After seeing that was, there was clearly places available in the main restaurant, they relocated us to a banquet room with tables. The carpeting was rather ragged. I also think some additional server training is need. I would recommend this place over the downtown Vernal steakhouse. Located in Quality Inn building. read more

We really enjoyed this place. Looking for somewhere to eat that's open Sunday and the vibe, the food, the service were all a lot of fun. You're not going to eat a Ruth Chris style steak, but mine was perfectly cooked and with an old school seasoning that reminded me a way better sizzler. Everything was very clearly homemade. And my kids LOVED the desserts. Great for our family and very tasty. Plus the service was great. read more

Their steaks are absolutely amazing! I usually cover my steaks in steak sauce, but here they are so good you don't want to! We make the drive out here for special occasions and get their steaks and cook it yourself on the rock in front of you Their burgers on the other hand are super bland! Steak was mostly fat and it was slimy. Salad had old tasting veggies. Service was pretty good. The building had a little bit of rundown vibes but was alright overall the food is the only reason I give it below 3 stars. read more

Had the Steak Salad, which was one of the best I've had anywhere. Delicious! Lettuce and cucumbers were crisp, tomatoes fresh, and balsamic dressing just tangy enough. Love this place. Great atmosphere. Friendly service. High quality food. The steaks are very good and the level of fat on a steak is minimal. The salads, chicken , cannot wrong. If I had to suggest anything, I'd say maybe some fresh veggie choices. Oh and you'll get hooked on the bread! read more

6/13/2023 Absolutely top notch food, the appetizer and dinner salad were delicious and the filet minion was perfection. And of course, dessert matched the dinner. The only drawback was the service, which was slow and hit-or-miss. We assume that the wait staff were mostly new to food service, following the mass Covid layoffs. Hopefully they have improved since our visit in June. There was a large party in the restaurant when we checked-in and they had a screaming child audible upstairs at reception. Unfortunately, they were still there when we came down to eat. The staff did their best to seat new diners away from the party but the room is so "alive" that you couldn't avoid the noise. I have not had a worse meal for a long time. the server was horrible and he never brought the drink my wife ordered. He did bills us for it. The other drinks came but were never refilled. My sons soup was cold and my broccoli cheese was the worst I have ever had. It was thin like a broth and I think there was broccoli in it but I cant be sure. My son enjoyed his meal but that was the only good thing. The place was dirty. They really need a deep clean. We will not be back!!!!!! read more

This place is just past the lobby of a hotel. The first thing that you notice when you walk into the restaurant is the smell of old wet carpet, we were seated in a booth and the cushions had rips in it. Also the seating was pretty far from the table which made it difficult for the kids to reach their food even the adults had to sit at the edge of the cushion to reach the table. The staff was friendly and the food was ok, except we ordered Alfredo from the kids menu for our young children. They couldn't eat it because it was too spicy. read more

This restaurant left a lot to be desired. We decided to dine here for an early dinner because we were staying in the hotel and got 10% off the bill. When we walked in the first red flag was how many tables had not yet been bused. From the front of the restaurant walking back to our table, there were at least 5 tables that had yet been cleaned, and throughout our meal I watched them sit there and were not cleaned until we were nearly done. With leaving tables dirty came the next red flag... flies. We had to constantly swat flies away from ourselves and our food. Not ideal for a steakhouse with high prices. Even with our 10% off, the place is pricey for the quality of food you get. Also, whomever is cooking has a fascination with sprinkling dried parsley over almost everything. We ordered the fried Mac and cheese which was ok. My daughter ordered the chicken strips and onion rings. The chicken was a bit burnt, the onion rings were awesome. My son ordered a quesadilla and fries, the quesadilla was on par, the fries were hot and pretty tasty after adding a little salt. My wife ordered the chicken cordon bleu which we would not recommend. The chicken was tough, the ham was a bit tough, but the whole dish was SWIMMING in cordon bleu sauce that had a grainy and soupy texture to it. She did order a loaded mash which was pretty good. I had the chicken fried steak and mash with a cheddar broccoli soup. The steak tasted similar to one I had at an ihop, it was ok, but definitely not worth the price I paid. The potatoes were decent, I like it when the mash still has come potato chunks in it. My cheddar broccoli soup was good, but I wished for a bit more broccoli in it. The Star of the night was the complimentary the bread which was amazing! But when the highlight is the bread, it means the meal overall was a bit sad. This last part is hard for me to talk about, because our server was very courteous and prompt, however when he would reach to grab a plate or serve our food, his Body odor was absolutely awful. You gotta take care of yourself when you are in the service business. If we came back to Vernal, we prob wouldn't be back. read more

Husband and I are hot shot truckers. Its not very often we can get a decent meal and friendly service. Yes, things are a little on the pricey side. But comparable to high end steak houses. Cozy environment. Ladies were friendly and on point, food comes out quick!! First night we had the sirloin meal. Cooked perfectly, baked potato was amazing(get it loaded). Second night we had the chicken strip dinner with the moonshine sauce. Both meals were great.. inly complaint we had was the alcoholic drinks were way too high. 5 bux for a bud light in the bottle. We've waited for over an hour for our food and have seen three tables being served before us that came in after. Kelsey was a terrible server and I don't see myself coming back now. read more
