IDK guys, I really like this Menards and keep coming back here! They prices and the selection just…read morecan't be beat! This past weekend I was working on redoing a corner of my yard to a little seating nook so I came here several times (I'm not very good at planning ahead) and they had everything I needed. I also stocked up on a bunch of flowers since the quality of their annuals and hanging baskets was REALLY good and cheaper than another big box store down the street (whose plant quality has suffered this year, I'm sad to say). I also got a few elevated garden beds. I looked up the product online to see reviews and saw that they were really well rated and Amazon was offering the same beds for $150 more a piece! So I snatched up two at very reasonable price. When I came back the next day for more supplies they were all gone so I'm glad I snagged them when I did. They also have a really good selection of pavers, outdoor yard decor, planters, etc, and all for really reasonable prices. Check out is a little weird and cashiers there are not always so pleasant but the customer service/returns department folks are SO nice. I was missing a receipt for a return I was making yesterday and the gal there walked me through the process of pulling up my receipt with my debit card on their little kiosks so I could be sure to get the full price of the items on my return. I also had very nice interactions with staff on the floor, both from just checking in to see if I needed any help to pulling a ladder over and climbing up to get a hanging solar lantern I wanted off the top shelf. My biggest nitpick is that I wish they had a garden section cashier and exit. It was such a slog pulling bags of dirt and pea gravel to the registers all the way into the center of the store and then back outside to the parking lot. I like the way their competitors have it structured where you can bypass inside and just get everything you need in the garden center and be on your way. I guess this is there way to centralize check out and get you to walk through the stores but my arms are sore from pulling the darn cart around!

Once they heard what had happened, the product was delivered destroyed, they stood behind it and shipped a new one and picked up the destroyed one. I can say I am happy with the way it was handled in the end. The sales rep needs some training on how to deal with situations in which the product is delivered with defects or in this case destroyed. Thank you again to the upper management for taking the time to help us with the product and getting us what we ordered.

Extremely Disappointed -- Poor Damage Handling & Inadequate Compensation…read more I spent over $27,000 on appliances from Big George's--refrigerator, oven, stove, and speed oven. What should have been a straightforward delivery turned into a frustrating, year-long ordeal that ended in small claims court. During delivery in March 2024, their team dropped a nearly 500-pound refrigerator off our porch while it was still on a dolly, damaging the concrete at our entryway. The entire incident was recorded on our doorbell camera. Despite admitting fault, Big George's initially offered only $200 or a patch repair--solutions that multiple independent contractors deemed unacceptable due to weather exposure, color mismatch, and long-term durability. Four contractors--including Midwest Construction, Dexter Concrete, Santoro Tile and Masonry, and Michigan Rose Construction--recommended full replacement of the damaged section, with bids ranging from $3,500 to $5,350. One wrote: "Patching is a temporary fix in this climate and will not blend with the existing concrete. Full replacement is necessary for structural and aesthetic reasons." Even Big George's own operations manager acknowledged liability. Still, the company refused to restore the damage properly. It wasn't until a small claims judgment--over a year later--that I received a mere $235.86. For a company that claims to be customer-focused and reputable, this experience was anything but caring. Their handling of the situation was dismissive, slow, and grossly inadequate--especially considering the scale of my purchase and their clear responsibility. If you're considering Big George's, be warned: if something goes wrong, you may be left to deal with the consequences on your own.

Asked an employee who was wasn't occupied to explain that was my question. VERY rude woman pointed to a sign about appointment only, and next appointment was end of March. Tried to explain I wanted to buy an item from their stock. Rude woman again said couldn't do it but had to schedule. Eight weeks away. Ok then, took my stock # to Lowe's, who were very friendly, and bought my two Koehler sinks there at 40% lower price. I'm tired that crappy, rude customer service gets blamed on staffing COVID issues. Done spending my money here.

Each time they came through for us with great suggestions and insight for the remodel process. You have to make an appointment but once you're there they will spend as much time as you need. We were with Sarah for almost 2 hours today for the bathroom. Their showroom is great so you can compare the various brands. The consultant can put your selections into the build.com website and then you can go home and make your final decisions. Or you can let them place the order. I gave 4 stars because they only have two consultants at the Ann Arbor location so it's a week or more for an appointment. Aside from that I highly recommend Ferguson.

But on Monday AM I learned that an earlier doctor's appointment on Tuesday was being delayed by 1.5 hours. I called Mr. Appliance to request a later time on Tuesday and again a REAL PERSON answered the phone and gave me a later time slot. Tanner came and was polite and efficient and repaired the dryer. Got the service scheduled for three days out, and received an immediate confirmation, as well as a day-before confirmation that included a photo of the technician. Received a text from the technician when he was on his way. Upon his inspection of the dryer, he determined he would need to order a new part, but said he would be able to get back to install it by the end of the day. Turned out even better than that--he was back in a couple of hours, telling me he decided it would be quicker to swing back to my place then instead of after his next stop, as he'd planned. After the new part was in, everything was fine. The repair wasn't cheap--replacing a circuit board won't be in any circumstances--but the repair went smoothly and the dryer is now working fine.
