From revealing my HIPAA protected data years ago due to failed IT practices to repeatedly failing to communicate to me about scheduling changes on their side, they always disappoint. The organization seems to embody the worst example of a roll-up of practices turning into a dysfunctional monster that dehumanizes its patients. Doctors there view their role as employees of the entity and they don't seem to have the sense of personal connection to their patients that other physicians I see possess.

Starting in July, they called me each month to cancel and reschedule. Finally, in October, after calling to reschedule a third time, I finally had enough and said that I wasn't interested in rescheduling. Similar to other reviews, the scheduler was extremely rude and made sure to tell me that he was going to record this as me cancelling the appointment. This is potential grounds for a malpractice suit and it is only a matter of time before this clinic gets hit with a big suit.

He tested, scanned, and scoped me and declared I was fine and whatever was happening was benign. I could help with parts of it by doing some exercises. He was always friendly and kind, even when I was terrified by the scope (wanna guess where it went at the urologist?) and acting like a total baby. He said he could do more tests if I get concerned later in the future but since he found nothing with what he had done so far he didn't see a need to do so unless it was to assuage my concerns.

I was originally scheduled at East Memphis Surgery Center because I've had surgery there in the…read morepast. My surgeon's office called and asked if I minded switching to St. Francis because he had another case that required that facility. Of course I said yes and I'm thrilled I did! SFSC was awesome! Their receptionist was super nice, my pre-op nurse, Brad, was also awesome. Nice, personable, and professional. I had my shoulder worked on which required a block by an anesthesiologist. I don't remember his name but I think he was Indian. He was stupendous. He was kind and explained everything he did BEFORE he started. My block was predicted to last 12-18 hours and it lasted approximately 18.5! My first 24 hours post-op was completely pain free! Thanks doc! The post-op recovery nurse was also super kind and professional. The facility was clean and very comfortable. Given the choice I would choose SFSC AGAIN!
