This was the first time that I've been to the USP Store location. Honestly, as many times as I have passed by this location, I never knew this was here. I did a quick search for a UPS drop off location and this where I ended up. The store is small and there were 2 people working the front. There was no wait, so I was greeted and offered assistance as soon as I entered. Since my package had a pre-paid label, drop off was very easy - just a quick scan and then I was handed a receipt. The experience was very simple, easy and quick. I appreciated that I could be in and out so quickly. I will probably be using this location as my regular drop off now that I know that they are here. read more

As a longtime UPS customer, I was extremely disappointed by my experience at this location last night. When I walked in, the cashier was engaged in extended chit-chat with another customer while I stood there waiting. Because of that delay, I ended up being helped close to closing time -- which was then oddly brought up to me, as if it were somehow my fault. Had the cashier been focused on assisting customers instead of socializing, this would not have been an issue at all. Once I was finally assisted, the employee was abrupt, visibly stressed, and rushed. The real problem, however, was the shipping quote. I was told I needed a box three sizes larger than necessary and was quoted over $800 to ship lightweight toys and shoes for Christmas gifts -- items I routinely ship to and from Colorado and am very familiar with shipping costs for. When I questioned the box size and insisted on using a smaller, more appropriate box, the price magically dropped to a little over $400 -- still wildly excessive and nowhere near what I've paid for heavier and larger shipments in the past. That alone raises serious concerns about pricing transparency. I asked to speak with a manager and was told the woman assisting me was the manager -- which was surprising given how unprofessional the interaction was. I also left feeling uncomfortable due to the way I was treated compared to other customers, which made the experience feel unnecessarily hostile and unwelcoming. Between the poor customer service, lack of professionalism, and what felt like price gouging, I will never return to this location. I strongly encourage others to take their business elsewhere -- there are plenty of UPS locations that are transparent, respectful, and don't make customers feel rushed, overcharged, or unwelcome. Classic example of new management taking over and nickel and diming customers. I've been going her for close to a year but I won't be going anymore because of the new owners and their policies they also seemed to have replaced all of the employees when the new owners came in. I used to go in to print labels and ship a few boxes at a time. It would cost me $1 to email them a few labels to print and sometimes they wouldn't even charge me which is a nice thing to do for a returning customer. New management changed printing it to $2.25. I was annoyed but it's not a huge increase. Now the most recent time I've gone in there's a new charge just for emailing them the label! I what instance would you email something and not print it and if you are printing something 9/10 times it will be emailed to them. Don't be surprised if they start charging for a few strips of tape soon. The employees are nice and friendly but the management is putting a sour taste in customers mouths with ridiculous policies. Should cost $5 to print a few pieces of paper. read more

Worst service ever. First they couldn't find my package, even though UPS confirmed it was indeed delivered to that location. After twenty minutes, it was mysteriously found by a young female employee with a very bad attitude. They wanted to charge $10 for holding the package on top of the $7.99 fee UPS charges to redirect the package to the store. This woman then goes on rambling some nonsensical spiel on how it is illegal to have packages sent there, even though it's a service offered by UPS. A male employee then chimed in about not wanting to argue, yet he also had a very bad attitude. I get that it's busy this time of year and you are stressed out, but perhaps this isn't the job for you. read more

I went to this UPS store and the guy gave me the price of my box, $80+ dollars, I asked him if there was anything cheaper since the box weight 6 lbs and it was only going to texas but I did not need it there any time soon, he said no. That was it. SO of course I did not pay that. I went home and use pirate ship and the same box, weight size was $46 and some change. then I checked my second box that I had already, unfortunately sent with them at this location, the guy charged me $45.63. Pirate ship? $25 and some change. Again, I had asked the guy if there was anything cheaper and he said no. Both online at the UPS website and irate ship had them a lot cheaper. No idea why this guy is ripping people off. read more

I trusted this location to mail my passport to a federal building in Washington. Sadly, they lost my documents and didn't take any responsibility for it. I spoke to the owner of the store and his response was, " I didn't lose your passport, it was UPS and they are responsible for it. I asked him, aren't you UPS? He said no, I'm a franchise store. In addition he said that I should had put insurance on the package so then it can likely be cover. His store lost my documents in November 2021 and I didn't get a response until March 2022. It was the worse experience ever and I didn't even get a refund for the cost of replacing my passport. The owner said the most he can pay , it's $100 dollars and he will he willing to refund the amount I paid for the shipping. He was rude, unprofessional and careless. I had never ever had an experience like this one, even Walmart would he willing to assist you in a more professional way. The manager didn't care and literally wash his hands by saying, it's not his responsibility to cover the cost for the list documents. I didn't only have to pay for my documents replacement but I also lost money by being unable to travel for work. If I was you, find a FedEx place, I'm sure they will be more professional than the UPS store at lake Howell rd. Don't waste your money or your time. read more

Great and fast service. Efficient and always friendly associates

I needed 150 copies quickly, and didn't want to use the office copier. I decided to send the one page document (advertising a kids drama class I teach on the side) to the UPS store for pick up. The Website was fairly easy to navigate. It does say "shipping address" and nothing about "pick up" which was confusing, so i used the online tech support because I didn't have time to wait on shipping and he told me it was right for pick up. I called the store location I chose a couple of hours after I sent it and the person had no idea of the order. She did call me back and said they didn't have enough of bright red paper I chose and they would order some for the next day. Got a call later the next day that the paper came in, but instead of bright red it was "bright apple" which he said looked a little pink. I was really under the gun at this point and I said whatever, I just need the copies. I went to pick them up they were bright pink (not great for boys who already don't want to take drama) they didn't put the copies in a bag or box just handed me a stack of 150 loose papers and bye. Bottom line: inefficient, these places should know people are in a hurry, that's why they exist also, lacking in customer service. How hard is it to make copies? read more
