Just had an unexpectedly excellent experience at The UPS Store, and honestly, this location might be the MVP of the entire plaza. First of all, any plaza that includes a Publix immediately levels up. Being able to knock out shipping errands and grocery shopping in one stop is elite efficiency. Add to that a United States Postal Service mail drop right outside, and you're basically running errands on easy mode. The real surprise? I went on a Saturday morning and it wasn't busy. No lines, no chaos, no stress. The staff was quick, friendly, and genuinely accommodating, I was in and out before my coffee even had time to cool down. And once I was done? The plaza browsing began. A quick stroll, maybe a stop at Family Dollar (because when you're there, you're family), and suddenly I realized I'd turned a simple shipping errand into a full-blown productive outing. All jokes aside, this UPS Store delivers exactly what you want: convenience, speed, and zero friction. If you're going to run errands, this is the place to do it. I always have a good experience here. The staff is always friendly and they always help me with what I need. I complete a lot of my Amazon, SHEIN and Temu returns there. It's very convenient and the service is great. I went today again to do more returns and they were great as usual. I enjoy coming to this plaza too because there are restaurants, grocery stores (Publix), Chase bank, a boba place -that is really good (Shaka Shaka tea house) and many other places. I will continue coming here for my shipping transactions. read more

Small UPS Store that takes my Amazon returns. The staff is super friendly and very courteous. I get in, do my return, I get a receipt, and on my way I go. I have never had to wait, service is fast. Not sure of prices, as I come in to turn in my returns and the Amazon returns are free of charge. read more

Again, terrible customer service The service at this location is absolutely terrible. The older woman with glasses (employee #343863) was rude and presumptuous the minute I walked in the door. Before I could say a word she told me she couldn't ship my box. I told her I was going to buy a box. She then started asking me questions for my personal information for a label but I already had a premade shipping label. Again she was making assumptions without even asking me what services I needed. This is the absolute worst location. This woman was so unprofessional (chomping on food while talking to me). There seem to be alot of conflicting reviews for this UPS, but I've never had an issue there and the staff have always been professional and courteous. I'm not exactly a fan of the taping charges they apply, but c'est la vie. They have other services available here, as well as notary services, which I appreciate. I've visited this location close to a dozen times over the last several months and you do have to pick your times because they can get quite busy. But, overall, I think they do the best they can with the team they have and, really, isn't that all that can be asked of any of us? read more

called and was told $1.75 per page to fax .when i got there i was told $2 per page. i had my own cover page and 2 pages. i was charged for 3 pages ,when asked. girl said that was not our cover page. Well she saw what she was faxing and she even got fax number off of my cover page. Avoid this location at all cost. I'm a Local Business Owner and Ambassador for Winter Park and I am extremely disappointed in the Staff and Operations at this location. Complely incompetent staff guiding people on shipping options, more incompetency when it comes to the manager running the associates, and thus providing policy guidelines and interpretations to consumers after the fact. Never use this location for shipping items. I brought them a $1000 Business Laptop and told them I needed it expedited with Guaranteed Delivery before a certain date in order to start one of our New Employees. I was explained all my options by the Front Desk attendant, we chose the gauranteed delivery method, with a declared value of min of $500, and a next day delivery, and left them the computer. First off, Computer was never shipped next day. I called the store and asked if they still had package and they did not, they said it already left the building. Yet, the package was never scanned at pick up nor tracked to its next destination. No one can verify any shipping or electronic tracking of the package, but instead, i was handed a copy of the original Boxed Label that was nicely cut out and given back to me??? But no computer was available, and they could not even show me the damaged package. its like someone just decided to take the computer out of the box after I dropped it off, and then left the label behind for them to provide me back. Here is where it gets bad. I called the Store Manager and explained the situation, and showed them the original box and label I was given back and tried to file the claim for refund of Mail Service fee of $112 and also the Declared Value claim. The store manager stated that i must file claim with third party provider, and after wasting 3 weeks trying to do so and third party telling me i must go back to the shipper to file the claim, Icalled this UPS store back and found that the manager was wrong, and I should be filing the claim for Shipping refund + Declared value through UPS store. I think they were trying to get me to not file my claim in time since there is a strict 30day and 60day timeframe limits for claims. Thankfully i just got my claim in to UPS before the deadline, but still getting no help or assistance from local store or management. I will be disputing the shipping charges with my credit card company for no service provided, and will continue to follow up and fight this management on reimbursement of my declared value. The manager did state that all their staff were brand new and needed training, but either way, this is no excuse for not providing proper shipping solutions to its customers, nor an excuse for sending their clients on wild goose chases in trying to file claims on very expensive items, that in this case, unfortunately just got stolen right out of the package and never shipped to the intended recipient as no party was ever even able to confirm that this package left their store as it was never scanned by any shipping person, provider, or shipper. read more

I had a package shipped from this store to west Orange County on Monday, the 10th, it is Friday the 14th and ups has yet to receive the package. Called the store and they said the package is gone, the driver must have not scanned it. UPS says it's not their issue because they don't have it. The store says oh, well. Do I call the OCSO and file a theft report or contact an attorney??? Not impressed with the lack or concern or no one doing their job. Filing a claim Monday, now I have to wait how long for them to make it right???? Thankfully, I got insurance... horrible communication, app/website does not work, or the driver is just not educated on how to use or check the app. my package arrived at this store location and it took them 2 days before attempting to deliver my package. on the delivery day i waited until 7pm no ups showed up. their website offer delivery instruction app to change delivery after you give them your info. i set the delivery to LEAVE PACKAGE AT THE FRONT DOOR i have been waiting the whole day and had to leave. the delivery came and left with my package. seems like the app does not work or the driver does not care to check it. there's no notification on my phone about the delivery as promised and now they're making me wait for another 2 days to deliver my package. read more

I frequented this store a lot. In fact I was under the impression that I was on good terms with the employees of this store. Came by nearly every day to drop off Amazon packages or to drop off packages for my eBay business. Everything was all good until recently I started noticing a change in attitude and their response to the virus. They wanted customers to wear a mask, which is fine. They put up plexiglass, which is also added protection. I'm fine with that. But then just the other day I was approximately 5 centimeters outside of the social distancing box and got reprimanded by one of the employees. I understand the concern, yet this was a little too far. Another very odd thing is they like to keep the door locked during business hours. I don't know why, but they do and it's unsettling. It's always hard to know if and when they're open because I have to wait for someone to open the door for me. I've since moved on to Fedex for shipping my eBay packages as I now have a FedEx account manager who gives me 70% off express and ground. FedEx stores are reliable, open when they say they are, and they have all the shipping supplies I need like flat rate boxes. UPS Stores are franchised, hence the inconsistencies. Every store is a little different with owners scrounging to keep the doors open. Experiences vary and therefore customers are going to go elsewhere to avoid the drama. Every UPS store I've been to across the country has been hit or miss. Mostly miss, because it's just not a sustainable retail model. FedEx has it right with large spaces, work stations with shipping equipment and corporate owned stores. No rude service, no lines out the door, no drama about standing in boxes behind plexiglass, and better prices if you have the hookups. For Amazon I've chosen to start bringing my returns to the UCF Amazon facility. It's actually really nice! Packing supplies there and a really nice Amazon staff to help accept returns that you can't pack. UPS retail is dying and they know it. It's sad because there's genuinely good people in this business and even at this store. Nathaniel is one of them. Really kind and personable! He is FedEx material! My advise to customers is to do these employees a favour and just take your business elsewhere. They'll wind up filing chapter 11 and the employees will get 600/week. Everyone will be happy! This store is the most unprofessional, poorly managed store I've ever been to. I've been asking for an itemized bill for over a year, and still have not received it. An employee can't do the most basic of tasks and the amount of profanity that transpired here is RIDICULOUS. And I've had to call the police in order to retrieve my own property from them. Oh UPS, where have you been all my adult-life-since-I-cared-enough-to-mail-packages?! In years past, I've stood in line at the post office (after struggling to find the right sized box and then stuffing newspaper or bubble wrap to secure its contents) for long enough to get foot and back aches while hearing fellow patrons talk to what seemed like all of their family members loudly on their cell phones. I will do this no more! I have recently discovered the helpful services of UPS (I rarely mail out packages, nor do I do a lot of online or order-by-mail shopping) when I was mailing out Christmas presents to my nieces and nephews this year. There was no line (less than 2 weeks before the holiday) and I was immediately greeted by friendly UPS employees. I provided them with the addresses where the presents we're going to and moments later, the presents were packed and ready to be shipped. This place just recently opened so I thought I would try it out. I had a horrible experience here. They tried to charge me for packing materials that I did not use. Also the clerk tried to overcharge me for a package and then was rude when I questioned the price. They try and push the overpriced UPS services here even though they offer Priority mail and USPS services that are way cheaper (but are still marked up from the post office prices). Do not go here. You will be overcharged and I don't trust the people working at this location. One clerk even opened a present box of mine while inquiring what was in it (it was clearly a shirt box from a department store). I asked the clerk to package the shirt box in a larger box along with other gifts. So she decides to look inside? If I said it was not fragile why did they have to open my gift box? I felt violated. They asked me multiple times what was in my gift packages. I established that the items were not fragile and I was not shipping any illegal items. So why did they keep inquiring? So they could steal from me? They were a little too curious. They also did a poor job of taping my boxes despite my repeated requests for more tape. But they sure did charge me $4 for the box and a $4 fee for putting my presents in the box. Shouldn't that include some tape? Clearly the clerks at this location are unprofessional and shady.
