They lost my official documents that were authenticated by having the documents returned to the store and sit unclaimed instead of having the documents shipped directly to my home which I also paid extra to have next day delivery. I had to contact the store near Rio Grande & Navarro to make a claim. Very poor customer service and staff. Seems like they hired a group of young college dropouts to run the store. The manger lied about the shipping error, and acted nonchalantly regarding my wasted fees, time, and inconvenience. I WILL NEVER RECOMMEND... read more

I had to drop off my father's cable equipment to be returned one morning. The first thing I noticed was they opened up right at 8 am (versus arriving at 8 am and opening at 8:10). Punctual which gave a great first impression. When I told them why I was there they knew exactly what to do and did it. They gave me a receipt without being asked. I was there maybe 10 minutes and was back in my car. The store itself looked clean and organized which it should. I don't have a long write up but it felt efficient and great customer service given so my one and only time here was a good experience. read more

i use the ups store frequently but only for packages. and even that's a hassle. Well today i had to print off a label for a package. my credit card wouldn't work because the card readers messed up then I printed and they didn't know what printer it was going to and then I finally got it printed and it was the wrong format and they couldn't figure out how to fix it. So know i have to leave work, print the label, come back, try and mail it again...... I can't believe I'm saying this but avoid this place at all costs just go to USPS, they are sadly more knowledgeable and faster then whatever crew they have working at this UPS store. nobody knows how anything works, nobody knows protocols for anything outside the box, nobody knows how many of the equipment works, and since I bought a new house I went next-door to look at blinds and the girl there was on the phone with her mother or a friend so long and ignored me that I just turned and walked out and went home. if you need valuable customer service and printing services DO NOT go to the location. I came into this location earlier this week because I happened to be right next door at the DMV. I was needing to send 2 certified letters with the signature card, not a difficult task, or so I thought. Upon entering the store, not one person looked up from what they were doing to greet me, and they weren't even busy! The young lady that waited on me didn't seem very knowledgeable, and was confused by what I was asking. I was unable to send the letters via UPS, which is why I specifically asked for "Certified Mail", I've done this many times at the post office, I just figured I'd come here since they were closer and seemed more convenient. I will stick with the post office next time, and not to mention pay half the price on services since this store apparently marks up the price on their USPS services (and not just a small mark-up, either). Please train your employees better on these services, and also on customer service skills. read more

Let me start off by saying whoever runs this store should be ashamed of themselves. This was in the morning around 9 AM, I walked in to take care of an Amazon return and to ship a package. There was no one up front and I think it took them several minutes to realize I was there. Mind you, this is a very small store, from what I could tell, as I could see the backdoor from where I was standing. I walked around to the other register where I saw a computer set up and there were some mailboxes. I cleared my throat so I could try and see if anyone heard me and maybe they would come up there, as I did not want to yell out. What I heard next literally blew my mind. I over heard what I can only assume to be the manager or maybe the owner talking to whomever was in charge of hiring or recruiting people. I could hear him clearly state that that he needed to hire more caucasian people because they were more appealing to their customer base, and he did not need nor want any more hispanic or black people working for him because he could not trust them, and that white people were 'cleaner' and more trustworthy. Some of the words he actually used I will not repeat, this is actually the cleaned up version. He used a few racial slurs, to say the least. And it sounded like they were actually joking around about it, when finally someone came to wait on me. He apologized for the wait and told me that he had not heard me come into the store. I think when he saw the look on my face he was kind of taken aback. I literally dropped off my Amazon, got a receipt, and left without even shipping my package, I was shocked that people still have these types of views in 2022. I was so offended. Both UPS Stores in Victoria have excellent printing services. Their staff is friendly and knowledgeable. Also, their turn around time is super fast. The colors on everything I have ever needed printed (posters, business cards, and invitations) have come out crisp and vibrant. I highly recommend their print services. read more

I had the worst shipping experience I had with the UPS Store #5474 in Victoria, Texas. I had 4 side chairs shipped from Victoria, TX to California. arriving October 23, 2013. They were packed in 2 cardboard boxes. One box had a broken chair inside. I called UPS, explained the matter, was not told that I had to file with the UPS Store in Victoria but was sent directly a claim form which I filed via fax (866-580-1944) with UPS; however, after a period of time, I received correspondence dated December 17, 2013 from the UPS Freight Claims Investigator in Richmond, VA that the claim had to be filed with the Victoria, TX UPS Store. I spoke with the owner and manager (Craig Houseworth) of the store on January 14, 2014: he had no recollection of the shipment, although he had been the one who provided me the shipping cost, delivery information, and took payment from me over the phone. He could not find any record of the shipment and became argumentative saying that anyway the deadline to file a claim had passed (although he did not say when that deadline was); he was extremely disrespectful in his demeanor. I stated to him that when we initially spoke he informed me the item would be covered up to $100 as part of the shipping cost. He provided no further information at the time about damage claim process, so when I saw the damage I filed with UPS in my area. After continuing to reiterate to him three times what happened, he said he'll call UPS and get back to me, saying he needs pictures and the value of the chair. I asked if I needed to fill out forms for him at this point, he said no. I felt so upset about his treatment that I did not want to pursue the claim with his being so disrespectful and unprofessional - it wasn't worth the aggravation dealing with this person. This experience has been the worst customer service I've experienced and so am writing you directly to let you know about the unprofessionalism and hostility of this store's owner. read more
