These guys were amazing!!…read more I swear they were like the Globetrotters of moving lol... Not one piece was harmed only took them three and a half hours to move my entire house and garage I've never seen anything like it thank you guys be blessed!!!

We had a very disappointing experience with this moving company…read more First, the "Prosperity movers" arrived over two hours late, and instead of communicating professionally, my daughter constantly had to reach out herself for updates. When he finally arrived, he already seemed irritated despite offering a brief apology for being late. The biggest issue was that this was supposed to be a professional two-man moving crew, not a man bringing his under aged son to help. Yet only one person was actually doing the heavy work. To make matters worse, they only had one dolly for an entire household move, while charging by the hour and charging extra for stairs. If you are paying professional moving rates, especially with stair fees included, it is reasonable to expect two professional movers equipped with proper moving equipment. When the mover got to my daughter's bedroom to move the dresser, I specifically told him that her bed was an extremely heavy electrical bed and asked if he knew how to properly disassemble it. He confidently replied, "Yes, I do this every day." However, as the move progressed, it became obvious he may not have been prepared for the heavier items involved, including the electrical bed and oversized washer and dryer. Later, I mentioned to both the owner and his son that the patio furniture needed to be moved as well and to make it last, and I clearly explained why. Just minutes later, after both of them going outside, the son came back in and immediately headed toward the patio anyway. My daughter and I stopped him and reminded him of what we had just discussed. At that point, the owner/father suddenly came back inside defensive and argumentative. During the argument, he stated that he needed to do things "his way" and that we could not keep telling them what to do. He then threatened to bring everything back upstairs and quit the job entirely. Ironically, he also admitted that he normally moves everything downstairs before loading the truck, which meant the heaviest items, the sofa, bed, washer, dryer, etc... had not even been moved yet. There was absolutely no reason the patio furniture could not have waited until the end as requested. When we questioned his attitude, he said he was "a professional" and wanted to be treated like one. I responded that professionals should also act professionally. That was not said to start an argument -- it was a response to the way we were being spoken to throughout the interaction. Based on everything that happened, including the late arrival and lack of proper help, I honestly believe his regular worker may not have shown up, and he assumed moving a two-bedroom apartment would be easy enough to handle with his son assisting. Unfortunately, it became clear the job was more than expected. What made the situation even worse was that after already moving everything downstairs, he chose to carry my daughter's belongings back up three flights of stairs and leave them piled near the entrance instead of returning them to where they originally came from. My daughter had hired him for three hours, yet this is how the situation ended. Thankfully, my daughter was proactive and started preparing for her move two weeks in advance instead of waiting until moving day. Overall, the entire experience felt disorganized, unprofessional, and unnecessarily confrontational. I definitely would not recommend this company based on our experience.

I confirmed this multiple times before booking--at least three times--and verified the price again the day I paid the deposit. I was also very clear about the scope of work: I would be providing all packing materials, I already had boxes and containers pre-packed, and I needed furniture moved downstairs and loaded onto the truck. Everything was discussed upfront. However, when the movers arrived, I was presented with a bill of over $700 and told the job would take 7 hours. They also added new restrictions that were never disclosed beforehand, such as only moving items already in containers. Because this was completely different from what was agreed to, I canceled the service. I had paid a $100 deposit, and they only refunded $28--keeping $72 despite not performing any work. Based on this experience, this felt like a bait-and-switch situation, and it put me in a very difficult position on moving day. I strongly recommend getting everything in writing and confirming all terms upfront before booking.

CUSTOMERS BEWARE! I had a 3 man crew for an 850sq foot…read morespace. Moving out took nearly 6 hours and the crew arrived 10 minutes late and didn't account for that on my final bill, they made me very uncomfortable and one kept inappropriately flirting and asked about my relationship status and for my number to "hang out." This made me feel quite uncomfortable and unhappy about my moving experience, especially since I was alone. I felt pressured to give him my number so he would leave me alone and get back to moving my stuff and later he texted, called, and sent pictures of himself to my phone months after my move asking to come over, until I finally blocked him. I left a very detailed email expressing my grievances regarding this poorly done move to Amanda hoping she would understand being a woman herself and for me as a customer who had used them before and always tipped the movers well. This wasn't the case. She never responded to my emails and dodged my phone calls. The moving crew dragged their feet, complained, wasted time, arrived late. Damaged almost all my solid wood furniture, scraped paint off of walls, and did in nearly 6 hours what 2 very excellent movers had done in 3 hours only one year prior. I paid more than twice as much for this move as I did an almost identical move from one year before with one less man than I had in this crew. I also feel these men were not respectful of my time which = a lot of money. If you use this company, be careful. I would advise not being alone while they move you like I was. Look elsewhere. Find a different company. If you have an unsatisfactory move, this business has a track record of dodging customer complaints.
