Every time I call this branch every single employee that I have spoken to has given me some form of attitude or frustration with the most minor questions. I have experienced the same issue going in person and it is quite frustrating. I understand working at a post office is probably a very stressful job, especially around the holiday season but those of us who are coming in there have our own stresses and frustrations too. I have never once taken my frustration out on an employee doing their job especially considering I work in healthcare so I have a very stressful job as well. I genuinely dread having to call or go to my local post office in Vestal since I'm treated like a nuisance. read more

I went to do two returns at the Vestal Pkwy, Vestal, NY store and when I entered there was a line. One worker, Mark came out from the back and immediately complained very loudly about there being a line. I jokely said job security. He responded very rude and said only way he wanted a line was if people were giving him money. It got worse when he was extremely rude to the customer he started helping at the time. I commented and said I was going to report him, he said go ahead I'll give you the info to do it. I know it's Christmas season but that's the job he applied for. The other worker was very polite. Since there was a line he came over and showed us how to use the self drop machine. That was easy and kept me from having to risk dealing with rude Mark. If I was just reviewing Mark my rating would be a 1. He was very rude, short and impolite with customers. read more

I had a package sent to me they sent to the wrong address they took it back it was changed then sent out to the wrong place again they are right now shipping it back and won't help whatsoever ignoring my request to keep it at the store for me to just get. Its insane how one of your drivers snuck into my place tip toeing to leave a "we missed you" notice. I took off work to stay home and sign for a package, your driver did not ring my bell, did not knock. Only snuck in like a lazy bastard and left the note Infront of my door. Brought an Amazon return -(package-less return). Guy was like you need a shipping label. I was like are you sure- is not something I can pull up on my phone? Yeah he was sure. So like 45 mins of traffic and argument with my spouse and standing in a long line - brought it back, showed the guy the paperless receipt on my phone. Took the package. No apology. I entered right when they opened up and from the look on the guys face there, I thought he might be "not so happy" to be at work. But, do not judge a book!!! When we made eye contact, he perked right up and was genuinely happy to help me out. He took care of everything and I was in and out in no time. In the past I have been compelled to say this place is great, understanding, reasonable, and accountable. I went in with a package to deliver to a buyer, informed the representative the package contained fragile items. Apparently as well the representative informed me they don't have an actual relation with ups for contracts with selling companies. I asked if he could label said package fragile, to whit he said, "sure, I'll just put a fragile stamp on it." The buyer explained to me that it did not have any indication of fragile marked on the package which I wrapped and packed to ups specs. I am out money, and I am not going back to that store again even having spent quite a bit in the past sending things through their store, buying their crappy packaging, and taking their advice and providing them resources out of my pocket. I have sent computers and music equipment through the store and I am sorry to say I will be dropping the relationship I have with them and ups at this point I am through with deceit. read more

I had some important documents that needed to be printed, faxed and mailed. The staff was very helpful even though I was clearly confused and didn't have everything ready. They facilitated the entire process and sent me happy on my way. 5 stars isn't enough for this location and their excellent service. Also, to the other poster FYI, it is a federal crime to put stuff in your mailbox unless you are the U.S. Postal service. And I'm also sure this location is independent and they aren't delivering your packages. And no I don't work for this location, I'm just a satisfied customer. read more

Normally, I have nothing but good experiences with UPS, they are usually my "go-to" carrier, but my experience here today did not sustain that image. The man behind the front desk on 12/16/15 at 11:30 am (didn't catch his name, was only wearing a white shirt) had one of the rudest attitudes I've ever encountered. There was a line (maybe 5 people) and he seemed aggravated that he even had to be doing work. I understand it is around the holidays and a busy/crazy time period but when you work customer service you should be trained how to properly handle these situations and maintain a good company image. As it was my turn, he was talking to a co-worker next to him about how "stupid" the customer who had just left was! This is very unprofessional.. I had pre-paid labels from amazon and the printer I used made the image fuzzy so he was not able to scan them. He never made eye contact with me and just pushed the package back toward me, said print another one and then just said "Next". I understand it's not his fault but this is NOT the way to deal with customers. This guy (who seems like a manager even!) needs to find a job in a different field. read more

Never once had a problem with these guys. Always in and out, quick visits, funny and courteous staff.

They are very nice they did much better job than the one in staple. They never ask to pay for the tape. But staple ask one dollar for each box. read more
