This review has been a long time coming. Quite frankly I am not sure why this location has a low rating? I feel like I am here all the time returning Amazon packages and the employees have always been consistently nice and accommodating. read more

The UPS Store - can you see what's wrong with this sign? - Shipping Centers Near Me - Tampa, Florida

I needed a package returned to AT&T and this was the only store I could find open on Christmas Eve day. The staff were very helpful as she advised me to be sure and cover the box or I might not get my full refund. She took the time to help me pick a padded bag. Didn't try to over sell. I really appreciated her looking out for me. I was in and out in 15 minutes. read more

The UPS Store - Nice clean store - Shipping Centers Near Me - Tampa, Florida

The shop charged me $27 for a cardboard box. Yes, it was 48 inches long but could've been 3" x 3" on the other dimensions. I should've said no one gotten a cardboard tube. But $27 for a cardboard box? Really? I would never recommend a shop. The charge is $27 for a cardboard box. read more

I was surprised at the low ratings, but I like others have used this store a long time and have been happy it is conveniently close to me. The parking can be a pain but that is something the UPS store has no control over and like the post office, they get a premium price on paper, cardboard and tape if you show up needing something for your package. Also, when returning items to Amazon or wherever, you have to follow the exact way that you agreed to when setting up your return. I saw a complaint about having to purchase an expensive box because the one it came in was not acceptable to reuse. The customer accused the person of raking him on the pricing when the pricing is set by the bar code on the item being purchased. UPS did not deserve one star for that. I have loved the location and how convenient it is for me. I do ship and return a lot of items though, so I am familiar with the pros and cons. I definitely want to give this store a better rating because I have never had a problem and always am attended to properly. And, no I am not related to anyone there or work there, LOL. Good job everyone! read more

I am 65 years old woman, I always came to this store on weekdays, and the young employees they work (on weekdays) there have always been very helpful, sweet and nice. I've been in the Village since about 35-40 years ago and always used this UPS store. Last Saturday I was returning a fan that was delivered to me, but it was the wrong model. They e-mailed me the pre-paid delivery sticker and told me to take it to UPS. It weighs 30 pounds and after the open-heart surgery I had 2 years ago, It's been very hard for me to lift heavy items, and I tried not to do it. But I carried the box from my Condo to the car and from the car to the UPS door and when I saw this Indian guy by himself (there were not clients) I asked him twice if he could help me please, well after the second time of me by the door requesting help, he came just to hold the door and to tell me he has back issues and that he couldn't help me at all. Thank God there was a gentleman who came behind and was able to help. What a shame, this UPS employee was so unpleasant and unkind, not even an apology, or a kind attitude, and on top of everything he looks upset, for goodness gracious, what world are we in? Thank God that kind man came behind and was able to drop his own packages and helped me, because this Indian guy couldn't even have a nice costumer service or solution, I think if that is his culture and approach plus his own personal impediments to provide a good customer service and at least a good attitude, he shouldn't be there. He doesn't have what it takes to be there, that UPS was always a nice place with good employees doing a good job, but this guy was the worse, and then he had the audacity to ask who was first, OMG and the lady who came after and the gentleman who helped told him, "She was here first asking for your help", on top of everything!!!!! how rude this Indian could be! then when he realized it was a pre-paid sticker, scanned it and hand it to me so upset and with a very unfriendly face. Please he needs to have a good customer service training, because I don't blame if people start going someplace else. Thanks!! read more

I found the employees were very helpful and friendly and the place was very clean and neat. I wish I had gotten the name of the lady that had helped me. I wanted my package ti arrive before Christmas and she explained all the shipping options. read more

This is my Local UPS... I have not only used them for shipping but I have also used them for notary services. Each time I have walked in they have been friendly and professional. I usually never have a wait but if I do it isn't long at all. There are a few 15 minute-only parking spots right in front of the store so you are pretty much guaranteed a quick parking spot. You can get in and out easily. They have copy services as well. read more

Went in to have some things notarized at 6:00. The Indian gentleman behind the counter was visibly annoyed. He told me I should have come in earlier. He would help me but it would be between other customers. I mean - I was a customer?? He was rude and acted like I was too much trouble this late in the day. Why offer a service if your employees don't want to provide it? read more

lol.. I went to this UPS store to return items back to JC Penney using the same box that was provided from the store and the young man was so helpful with printing my return label and so I checked out then we said our goodbyes. Cut to today, 2-days later I receive another package from the store, which leads me to confusion.. 'huh' .. I open the box and lo & behold there's my merchandise with my return receipt AND SHIPPING LABEL Thanks young man for my second trip to the UPS store ... bothered? yes! ... mad? no, rather amused! read more

Excellent customer service! Staff is always helpful and friendly even when they are busy! I prefer this location because of the staff.

Tried to return an Amazon package in the exact packaging it was delivered in- the owner said that I can't use the same packing as it wasn't sufficient enough and would have to pay to upgrade it. I've never heard this in my life- it's sufficient, it CAME in that packaging. Returned to Whole Foods without any issue. I get they're busy here w Amazon returns and most likely don't make as much money but it was such a clear scam. They also lost 2 packages of the person in front of me. Parking is an absolute nightmare. read more

Worst UPS store I've ever dealt with. Not only are the ladies really rude, they price gouge, lose packages, Complain if you get packages, constantly put the wrong mail in the wrong box, and the parking is a nightmare. They renewed my box without asking if I wanted to so I'm stuck with them for 3 more months. Ugh read more

These people are fast and knowledgeable. I have dropped off Amazon returns several times, sent heavy packages around the country, and printed photos. I have even bought greeting cards from their shop. They will take time to explain pricing and their services. They helped me with a photo entry as to how to crop it and how large to print it. They have become my go to store. read more

I went to drop off my Government Laptop and all I needed was. UPS Branded Express Box. They wanted to charge me $15.00 SCAM SCAM SCAM. Those are free. read more

Parking is difficult, no electronic doors making entry with hands full a challenge and they refuse USPS boxes. I won't be going back. Found another UPS store to use. read more

The two teenagers who run the counter on Saturdays have no idea what they're doing. They screwed up a shipment that I made with documents on a home closing, costing me a lot of money. And worst of all, UPS refuses to refund me even though they admitted it was their fault. Stay away from this store. read more

Usually I don't go to this location but I was in the area so I decided to try it. I usually go to the one in Temple Terrace and it is quite often VERY busy. This one wasn't and I like that. I was in and out in no time at all since I was the only customer there. I needed a small box to do a return to Amazon and had the return label I printed from the Amazon site. They put it all together for me and gave me a shipping receipt that I could track. When I went to pay, it had a read out that said NO DEBIT. They accept credit or cash. Weird, but ok. Anyway, I think this is a good location and will probably go here from now on for the stress-free environment. read more

Fast and easy, conveniently located in the heart of Carollwood. Friendly and prompt service!

Although some people are friendly, most in that store over the course of time have been rude or unfriendly at best. Wi-Fi and Internet is down often as well. Find another store read more

First time at this location and the women working today were lovely and very helpful. Returning things that were ordered online can be a HEADACHE and they made it quick and easy. read more

There is always some type of car parked out front making it impossible to pull through and park. They also like to close and renovate without updating on the computer so you will have to drive all the way there to find out :/ read more

Go to the one in Northdale. Those folks are smarter and much more willing to help. The ones here don't strike me as motivated to actually work. Unless your dropping something off and have basically done everything yourself first , it's doubtful you will get any help. Seriously head down the road.... smarter, better service. read more

For all my friends who may be needing to ship anything, DO NOT USE the UPS store #121 - 13014 N Dale Mabry Hwy, Tampa 33618. Saturday we shipped packages to Vermont. The process in store was less than pleasant, but today it got worse. I was checking tracking numbers and one of the four had "no details". When I called the store I found out that when you choose UPS ground if the driver has no room, the package does not make the truck! Also the promised delivery date on the receipt is only approximate, nothing more. read more

Went to get 6 pages printed from usb. Girl directs me to computer as opposed to giving her usb as normal. Then I get a receipt showing charged for pc time and pages printed. I asked the girl at counter and she said oh the other lady told you wrong. You were only to be charged for copies. A $20.00 hold was put on my card and the young lady said she can't do anything to fix issue that she will give me free copies next time. This doesn't seem like a way to do good business in today's competitive market. I'd rate 0 star if possible. read more

This UPS store is tucked away in one of those little strip malls on the other side of Chili's. It had a couple of people working there and there wasn't much of a wait at all. In and out in under 10 minutes. I'd say when i walked in, there were 3 other customers. They also have a notary public which I needed at the time to verify my signature. It was a great solution to getting my stuff signed and out in the mail. read more

Are you kidding me? My kid has a phone so she stays out of your stuff and you walk up to my child and my personal property my $1,000 phone and proceed to turn the volume down without saying anything to me or asking? How rude inconsiderate and unprofessional. Makes me sick will never come back again don't ever touch someone else's property or their children without my consent especially when she was standing next to me. read more

I went into the store to mail a package. My credit card was included in the package to be shipped. I asked the man who waited on me if he was going to pack my box then, he said "no". I asked him if he would, or if he couldn't I would. He replied I couldn't then continued to give me attitude when I explained why I wanted it packed. He told me "Why would I want to lose my job by taking my credit card info" and "I could just open it when you leave." While he was correct, his attitude and customer service was horrible! I emailed the store and here was the response I received: " Well often times an associate is in the middle of things and its common practice to set a package aside to pack later. If he was performing a task that require him to continue after assisting you he was performing his duties as required. He stated he was just joking with you and that he did not mean to insult you. The associate in question is a long time employee and has been with us for many years. So perhaps you took it the wrong way we do apologize for any misunderstanding." I have since discovered the man waiting on me was the store manager and also the one who sent the email. I would recommend avoiding this store. read more
