Quick and easy communication and competitive pricing. I always tell people don't forget you can review pretty much any business on Yelp - grocery stores, parks, gas stations, etc. And then I went and forgot to review Tampa Print Shop! Also, pet peeve, not all grocery stores are the same, but that's a rant for another time. I've never had to print a huge foam sign before. I literally had no idea where to start. After finding my counterpart in Miami had a print guy who prints out of his house, I seriously considered purchasing from him and mailing it up here. His rates were cheap. But she was having communication issues with him and I decided I should get some quotes from closer businesses for comparison. I requested quotes from no less than four other businesses. One didn't make the type of sign I wanted, one took over a week to get me a quote, another was pretty expensive (FedEx, I'm looking at you) and I don't think I ever heard back from another one. I finally thought to ask past Community Manager, Brett N., where he got his signs printed and found out he had been holding out on me. He mentioned he thought this place might be too far, but seriously after the blood sweat and tears of trying to get other quotes and a looming deadline, I didn't care. Brett sent an email introduction and I heard back from the owner, Brad, within minutes. This set the stage for the rest of our communications. I think the most I ever went was an hour or so during the business day without hearing from them. I was never worried that they would ghost me (which it's sad that this is a worry with a lot of businesses). I was also having lanyard cards made and they proofed it for me! (They thought I might have made a mistake, but it was correct. I still really appreciate that they did that). In the end there were three things that stood out to me. 1. They were fast! (It took a couple of days to get all my printing done). 2. They were cheap! (Cheaper than using the guy out of his home in Miami and mailing it and cheaper than the other quotes). 3. They were nice! (I don't have time to deal with stressful communication). I will be using them for all my printing needs. read more

Why 5 stars? Because it's cheap, easy, and convenient. --- --- --- There isn't a lot of detail to this review because it's a situation where the less eventful your printer is, the better. This is how a typical experience at TPS is for me: 1) I have a printing need. 2) I email the details of said need to TPS 3) They email me a couple days later saying that its ready. 4) I drive 3 miles to TPS, and am out of the store in less than 3 minutes with exactly what I asked for. Would NEVER recommend this place. Robin, whom I was working with was an absolute sweetheart, and was assisting me in every way possible for a last minute print project. Brad THE OWNER, came out and introduced himself to me, I was thinking "how awesome, he's coming to help". NOT! He told me that I was taking too much time, they didn't have time to work on a student project and they had corporate customers MORE important then the project that I was working on - I was not not a regular customer. RUDE! RUDE! RUDE! They agreed to print 2 letterheads, 2 resumes and 4 envelopes and charged us $85...EFFING RIDICULOUS!! The Art Institute of Tampa referred them - saying that they were very student friendly...after today, i'm going to say not so much. I will be telling everyone at the Art Institute and anyone else that asked for printing referrals NOT to use them!! read more

Realized I needed about 100 pages printed out at 3 p.m. on a Friday. I called the UPS store and they wanted 0.60 cents per page b/c it was an oversized 11x17 paper. UPS also needed a couple hours to get it done. I did a quick Yelp search and found Tampa Printing. I called and they said it would be 0.11 cents per page and it would be ready in 20 mins! Unfortunately this immaculate store is like a ghost town. There are never more than like 4 people there including yourself. Great sales people, very friendly and knowledgeable. Due to store being so slow am worried iy may become a casualty. Their selection is good and current& there sales can't be beat. Try them out, you will be happy you did. read more

We started using Tampa Print Services about 6 months ago when I found them through Google... Our last print provider did not work out well. And since that first visit, TPS has been our go-to for posters and banners for our small business. The staff is very friendly, knowledgeable, and professional and they don't try to constantly upsell you with silly add-ons like the bigger companies do. The prices are fantastic as well. Very poor customer service. I went there for a small job that will be turning into a very lucrative project. I was told they didn't do that service anymore, event hough it is on their site. Advice: Oak trees can grow from small acorns. I went to one of their competitors with no problem. read more
