They have professional equipment for this service, and were able to blast away a lot of algae, and baked in mud from my driveway and walkways, as well as old wasp and mud dauber nests. In July of 2023, we had our separate 1-car and 2-car garage floors finished by Tru Grit. The end…read moreproduct looked fairly good as long as you didn't look too closely. Some repairs after the initial installation were required which gives the floor an uneven look in some places. After the installation, the solvent smell in the 1-car garage never subsided making it impossible to be in that garage for any length of time. The 2-car garage did not have this problem. Tru Grit came back and added another topcoat in an attempt to eliminate the smell but that only helped slightly. After 3 weeks, the 1-car garage still had a fairly strong solvent smell. After 3 or 4 months, the smell did finally go away. The installation crew was sloppy. During the installation they marred the baseboards with their equipment which required touch-up painting in many places. They slopped the base coat on some of the shrubbery and ground cover. They dumped some sort of liquid in the grass in two different places which killed it, and they got some topcoat on the grass in a third place which also killed it. I had the curbing installed around the perimeter of both garages and they didn't do any preparation of those surfaces, covering blobs of left over sheetrock compound and caulk instead of first removing them. I also had them apply the basecoat to the threshold of the front door and they slopped it onto the door trim requiring significant touch-up painting. Tru Grit did offer to take care of correcting these items. Three years later, the floor looks pretty much like it did in the weeks after installation with one exception - The portion of the floor that is outside the garage overhead doors has yellowed quite noticeably. I noticed on their website in the Q&A portion that they don't actually answer the question as to how resistant the coatings are to UV exposure. The coating is still in place, but I am here to tell you, it DOES yellow over time.

This is a fact based business ethics review, not an attack on Rob's employees. Rob's employees…read morehave no control over Rob's pricing of services or delivering of products purchased, however they full well see his fraudulent business practices. I spent $25k+ with Rob on our new home sound system. Rob quoted install at 5 days after telling me it was a two days job a month before when he visited the job site. His employees actually got it done in 3.5 days. Half days count since he charges $1,200-$1,500 per day. Rob proceeds to invoice me for the full 5 days. Rob then argues with me that he is entitled to charge even when his employees aren't working. He spitefully concedes. 90 days later the sound system completely stops working due to a failed HDMI extender. After chasing him for months to schedule the repair he then charges me for a new replacement part which is under warranty. Last and likely most fraudulent is that I paid for a WiFi extender that he 12 months later cannot procure then has declined to return my money. Customers are not the center focus for Rob as evident by charging for fictitious labor hours and profiting from equipment replacement on equipment he selected. Arguing as a response to a customer is not how to keep customers nor gain new ones. The above business practices represent the definition of fraud.
