I'm happy to update this review! I went in today and was greeted by Salena and Kyle (I think his name is). They were BOTH such a breath of fresh air! It took me a minute to fill out my forms and letters and while I was doing so I heard them greet EVERY person that walked in. They had such good energy and interacted so lovely with everyone. Asking them how their day is and small chat. The line moved smoothly. I was on a quick lunch break and I'm so glad I got to interact with them. Truly brightened my day! Give them a raise! Worst experience I've ever had at a UPS store! I waited in a long line and when I finally got to the front I told the guy, Michael (which I don't think was his real name, black guy with long hair) the label just needs to be taped on and offered to do myself. He said no and tossed my two envelopes aside, handed me the tracking receipt and moved on the next customer. I got back in line cause I can see he's busy (he's the only one there) and waited again to address my packages that don't have labels taped to them and he starts arguing with me about not being here to work at my pace. I told him I can tape the labels on it's not a big deal. He again tells me no and to "stop crying like a little girl". I asked for his managers name and number and he again tells no again. I then ask for my packages back to take them to another ups down the street and when I tell them what happened their employees and some customers knew about this guy and this store. This is their norm. This is the closest ups to my house and I will never use it again. read more

I had a very disappointing experience at The UPS Store on Cross Creek. After waiting in a long line, I clearly explained how I needed my package shipped. The clerk did not appear to be listening and then stated she did not know how to process the shipment as requested. She attempted to reach a manager but provided no clear resolution. I chose to leave and visit another UPS Store, where my shipment was completed without issue. I then called the Cross Creek location to speak with management. The clerk hung up on me. When I called back, she initially denied being the one who answered the phone -- despite being the only person behind the counter at the time. She later said someone would contact me regarding staff training. The lack of product knowledge was frustrating, but the unprofessional behavior and dishonesty were unacceptable. Customers deserve to be treated respectfully, especially after waiting in line. I hope ownership addresses both training and customer service standards. read more

I have had it several times now where the store doesn't open at 8:30am like they should. Today was another example. each time, when I have gone back later that morning the same kid is there. is he just over sleeping and has zero accountability? I was at this UPS store to simply send a Fax. I walk with a cane because of my chronic pain. After waiting in line I get to the young lady who was attending me and she asked me to send the email to upscrosscreek. After sending the email she proceeds to attend 5 customers before finishing my transaction. I asked her why she didn't finish with me first? But immediately the African American young man jumps in the conversation and starts explaining that she has a language barrier which I can completely understand. As I'm genuinely apologizing to the young lady but he proceeds to call me a STUPID FUCKING PEOPLE LOUD ENOUGH FOR EVERYONE TO HEAR. I was mortified at this unethical behavior. If this review reaches the right ears ..i would like for them to watch and listen to their video and audio recording from today 12-30-2020 11:30 AM. Worst service ever!!! I had two packages and They swapped the wrong package to wrong address. I emailed the label to their email. They printed it and mailed it. I contacted the owner and he refused to own up to it, even though I have all the receipts and they have the camera surveillance to show what happened. He offered $150 for my items "out of his pocket" quote he says. I paid $440 for my item, Are you kidding me??? The company would not refund me because they received the wrong box with the wrong items. I don't blame them. He's stealing peoples property and making money from it. If I could give them less than 1 star I would. They're an absolute joke. I'm not giving up they are responsible for this mistake and won't own up to it. The only reason I am giving it two stars is because of location. Otherwise, I would give it zero stars. The owner is rude, and now charges $1 plus tax to tape a return box. I don't know if Amazon pays them to take returns but one is suppose to be able to make an Amazon return without a box or packaging but this store will probably charge you. read more

I went into this location to ship a package using my business account and although I handed the gentleman my shipping slip that contained my business account information as well as the address that the package was to be shipped to. The man proceeded to charge me personally and would not accept my slip to charge my business account. He then proceeded to tell me that "there was nothing he could do and that I needed to provide the slip prior to him imputing the information into the computer", even though he used the slip to impute all the information into the computer. He was rude and decided to penalize me for his mistake. I will not be returning to this location due to the lack of customer service. read more

Last week, I arrived to the store with a package in hand. As soon as I walked through the door, an older gentlemen who was at the counter dismiss me because the box wasn't sealed to his liking. He said I'm not taking that package. It should be noted that the package was nearly as tall as me and as a petite women he had no tolerance to assist me. I have been going to this UPS store for several years and they have yet to leave me disappointed. Fortunately, enough for me there was a worker named Candy who was amazing. She literally came from around the counter to assist me. Not only did she come to assist she also ask another coworker which happen to be another young lady to grab a tool from the back to help remove a wheel that was protruding out making it difficult to seal the box. The package was a stroller that was being return to Amazon because of missing part but that's besides the point. Candy was pleasant and helpful. This is what makes business a pleasure thank you Candy and to the other young lady. Kindness goes along way and you never know how you can make a person day. read more

I shipped an expensive Sony LCD television to my father in in another state as a gift June 24, 2013. I purchased a TV-specific box which met the UPS standards for burst-weight rating and size and packaged the item using corrugated cardboard spacers, kraft paper, and bubble wrap. I took it to the UPS store to ship and purchased insurance for the value of the item. I asked the store clerk to verify that the item was sufficiently packaged, he stated it was. I sealed the item, paid over $250 for shipping and insurance alone and left. I traveled to my dad's state during the item's transit to visit him and arrived the day the television did. The box was severely damaged (and left with our neighbor as we were at the airport) in such a way that it should not have been delivered, it was clear the item was damaged. I contacted UPS (on June 28th) to file the claim and packaged the TV up only partially because after removing the TV and seeing the damage, the box was so badly damaged I was not able to repackage the item the way it was when it arrived. UPS initially denied my claim stating ONLY that packaging material was insufficient and the box used was not strong enough. I appealed this decision and picked up my TV from the UPS store after several weeks as a courtesy to them; it was in WORSE condition than the first time. There was almost no shape to the box, there was a new hole and an extraordinary amount of damage and because the television was NOT repackaged properly by the inspector in the delivery state, the TV was damaged WORSE than when initially delivered (cracked frame, external speakers snapped off, etc). To top it off, it was repackaged UPSIDE DOWN in the box, delivered RIGHT SIDE UP. It was very clear to any reasonable person that NO amount of padding inside would protect the contents from the abuse, negligence and mistreatment the package was subject to. Because the UPS store owns the shipping account, neither UPS nor their adjuster Crawford & Company would speak with me, noting their privacy policy and stating I had to get the store to do this. The owner dodged calls, refused to help stating "this isn't our issue" and the store manager did the same knowing FULL WELL they are obligated to present the claim and any appeal. In SEPTEMBER I was finally contacted by a manager of the UPS store who had ignored DOZENS of emails and calls to his email address and every of the three stores he works at near me (I have documentation of this) and he provided me only an email to submit photos to and CC'd the store owner claiming ignorance as to why I was trying to blame him because he initially forwarded me the adjuster's request for photos (but FAILED to provide an email or a working phone number). The # for the claims adjuster went to voicemail each of the nearly two dozen times I called and I was never ONCE called back by that adjuster despite numerous voicemails. The photos were submitted September 17th, 2013 and after a week of no response I continued to call the adjuster, finally giving up today and calling Crawford & Co's corporate line. While they would not discuss the case, the agent DID state that the adjuster had been contacting the owner of the UPS store, telling them to get a hold of me with the decision. I called the owner and she passed the blame to the same manager who initially failed me, stating that he was supposed to have contacted me weeks ago. To top it all off, my appeal was DENIED. I was not contacted once without pressure or threat of legal action on my part and was never given the final notice of decision. Over and over, they denied any involvement and in one email told me that they were no longer a responsible to the claim (assuming because they gave me information to contact the adjuster, who refused to speak with me). At once point they called the adjuster, instructing her to speak with me. I was later informed that due to their contractual agreement, they do not have the authority to make such a request. After everything was said and done, the manager (John Masters) offered to extend my private box contract at his store for one year, a whopping $200 value to settle my claim for the $1500 television and the $284 I spend on GROUND shipping service + insurance. Not only this store and the manager in particular but UPS as well have acted negligently and in bad faith selling me insurance they did not intent to deliver on and are in breach of contract for refusing to perform their duties as the account holder to represent my claim against UPS and Crawford to completion. AVOID the UPS stores in Tampa Palms, Cross Creek Blvd and Wesley Chapel on Bruce B Downs, they are ALL owned by the same person (MAHTANI, SUNDRI M) under the corporation MAC DISTRIBUTION INC. read more

Absolute horrible experience. Please find a different location to ship from or you will regret it. Received a damaged item and they are refusing to pay for it, over 3 months with no money back. The representative Carlos has been a nightmare to work with, he has zero customer skills, and is extremely rude. UPS corporate office reimbursed them for the item but they refuse to give me the money from the check. Why keep my money? It's a reason for all of the terrible reviews they have, I will never use their service again. Pick another company to deal with. UPS should snatch their name from them because they are providing a huge disservice. If I could give a negative 5 stars I would. This has been a headache and stressful to deal with. . read more
