Waited in line for so long (line is out the door). Machine didn't work to do self ship (all I need to do is put a label on it as I have the QR code) , I finally get to the front and she is trying to charge me to print out the label.... Mind you I've already paid for shipping....she also told me she could not give me a reciept...like no help just said she couldn't... I literally left and the same exact thing happened to the lady in front of me! They were trying to charge her 33 dollars to ship a tiny box (size of glasses) and she literally left...Save your time and money and go to the post office read more

I rarely write reviews but I'm writing this with the hopes that whoever owns this franchise reads this and does a "secret shopper" test on his or her employees. While a few a great, there is one who is not helpful. One time I went for a notary and because there wasn't what she considered a designated spot on the form, she would not do it. I ended up going elsewhere, and it was done with no problem. Today, I went to return two boxes. One was in an Amazon box and the other in a much sturdier non-Amazon AND she would not take the STURDIER box but she would take the more flimsy Amazon box. Makes no sense!! I drove to a different UPS store and they accepted it with no problem. They were baffled as to why the other UPS store wouldn't take the box. I see another review for an unfriendly associate....yep that's her! Unhelpful and making up her own rules. I recommend going to the new store on Manhattan! Fire the young black, thin girl that works there- she abuses customers - doesn't answer the phone and may have a scam running because she charges people $100 for picking up a package - when the UPS website says FREE pick up. I'm calling corporate today and might take this issue viral to the TV station. This store and employee are the worst of the worst. Every time I walk into the UPS store on W Gandy, one of the workers is very unhappy. I politely asked if she could rescan my package because I gave her the wrong item originally, and she had me undo my bags and put my items in myself. Aside from the fact that she doesn't even say hello, the way she treats her customers as a whole is just completely unacceptable. I understand that it takes two seconds to drop off a package so maybe they aren't looking for personality hires, but UPS really did themselves a disservice with hiring someone like this. read more

I've been using this location for two years and have always been impressed by the service provided by the staff.

UPS, generally speaking, doesn't have the greatest track record when it comes to customer service, but I have to give credit where credit is due and this store is definitely much better than any of the others I've been to. The manager is absolutely lovely. During the hurricane aftermath when the power was out for several days, she parked right outside the store for hours and helped anyone trying to come in. She made sure we could get our packages shipped out. It definitely felt like above and beyond customer service. Most of the staff is friendly, especially the young girl with the long curls. She had such a lovely attitude and it was refreshing compared to the other experiences I've had at other UPS stores. Keep up the good work! read more

You could start by having competent people running the front desk! The girl at the front treated me like I was the biggest pain in her ass because she had to read a tracking number that I couldn't read off my phone because I forgot my glasses. Not only did I have to put up with all her eye rolling the whole time When I was done and said thank you so much I appreciate your help. She didn't even look at me and yelled NEXT! Will never go back. Never have had such a hard time shipping a box. I am a small business and try to reuse boxes to ship stuff. Was told that they do not ship manufactured boxes. That got me going because they didn't realize what they were saying. ALL boxes are manufactured by somebody. Anyways, tried wrapping said box and was told, after cutting open my wrapping. That they still wouldn't ship the box. UPS policy, is what I was told. I then proceeded to call UPS to get a clarification of the UPS policy. " If it is in a sealed box, it ships." As per UPS. I understand that the stores can make their own rules, but at least own it and not blame the actual shipper. I guess it is alright for a box to have Amazon or Home Depot on it. read more

1. A few months ago I dropped off a package to be shipped. My family received some unknown persons package! I called this UPS four times to resolve it; they were unresponsive. After two weeks of no response, my family went to their local UPS store and shipped the wrong package to the right person and they got theirs too. 2. I went again to drop off a package, when it was my turn the staff just looked at me when I asked them a question. So I just put the package on the counter and said this needs to be sent out. They said nothing and I left. Luckily, the package made it to its destination! 2. Today. I went in with a Canon toner cartridge to recycle in its proper colorful Canon Box. Canon prepaid for the shipping and I had the label. Even though I had shipped one like this before, today they insisted that I would need to buy a brown box to ship it in. I refused. I've had garbage service too many times here. I hope the franchise owner either changes things or sells it to someone that can make this location work. read more

I was hung up on by Jody and was belittled and insulted while on the call and told that "this is a franchise location we can do what we want". During the conversation instead of helping she continued stating "she can explain but she can't help me understand" as to say my comprehension skills are lacking in some way. I recently visited the Gandy Blvd. store (3-1-21 at 4:41pm). I was surprised at how poor the customer service was of the manager at this store. I decided not to ship my package because of her terrible attitude and poor customer service. In addition, there was a BIG sign on the door asking for customers to adhere to the 4 person only maximum for capacity. She was extremely pleasant to the "regular" customer that walked in completely disregarding the rules. I'm assuming he a regular customer because she called him by name, smiled at him, and proceeded to continue her snappy flow of customer service to me. I guess only "regular" customers get quality customer service at this store! Completely shocked by this treatment! read more

This review is for Manager/Operator of store: Publicized opening 8am. Employee arrives at 8:01, lets customers in at 8:03; spends 4-5 minutes trying to log on computer, handles my return promptly. Tells me to come back at 10am to take care of my notarized form because she's the only person in store and there's more people in line, and notarize process will take too long. 10am is when another employee is supposed to arrive. She said I can cut the line and go directly to her at 10 to notarize form. This is highly inconvenient for me. I hope I don't have to use the store again. The employee was OK, three star rating, but management should ask the employees to come in 10 to 15 minutes early and have the store ready for customers. They also might want to have two employees on duty at all times, or publicize hours where you can come in and get a form notarized. When I walked into the store, I thought I would able to complete the transactions I needed the store for. Very poor management to do this to your employees, and let this happen to employees and customers. Potential customers- find somewhere else to do your business. This is not the first time that I have had average or below average service at the store. read more

My mom shipped a package from there and I never received. Tracking showed it never left store. So my mom went by to see if they could look for it. The woman was dismissive and refused to look said it was impossible that it was still there. My mom called ups and they opened an investigation. Three weeks later I finally receive package and on box someone had written "RTS never picked up" which I suspect means it was placed in package pickup section of store. Mistakes happen, but if the woman had bothered to look in first place maybe it would have been found a lot sooner. read more

DO NOT COME HERE! I returned an Amazon package here in November (iPad) along with a separate return (the stylus pens). I paid to ship the iPad back to Amazon which was about $5, and one of the employees stole it. it was never marked as shipped or scanned by Amazon. but Amazon received my stylus pens and I was refunded for it. I tried to call this store multiple times and did not receive a response even after leaving voice messages. if you have a return please take it to an Amazon return center to avoid haven your package stolen like mine. read more

Terrible customer service after the fact when an item was lost due to very poor packing on their part. Both myself sender and recipient have been trying to get a response from management for over a month to no avail. Multiple Management personnel won't return phone calls, emails or respond to my in house visits. Still waiting for a response. Corporate office says we have to deal with local store. If I could give zero stars for this store I would. I dropped a large item off to be shipped, the clerk threw a bunch of information at me apparently telling me that my item would be sent freight. I don't recall that detail, and it's nowhere on my packing slip or receipt. What she failed to mention is that it would have a completely different tracking number. As of this review it's a week after dropping it off. I went in to find out if shipping had occurred, I was given some guy named Steve's number and told to call him to get that information. I used their printer to print 1 black and white page from my own usb stick.. cost $3.11... no advanced notice of $3 surcharge..other signs say $3 charge for use of computer..which i never used.. used usb port directly in printer just like at fed ex.. highly deceiving. horrible attitude .. use fed-ex kinkos. I really really hate this location and cringe when I need to go here. Even though this is closest to my house, I try to go to a different ups location whenever possible. The 2 girls that's usually here are both so frustrating to deal with. It's not so much their work but that they are so very passive aggressive when dealing with customers. They talk so low while mumbling like they are drained having to talk to you. And the the conversation are so strained because they aren't actively wanting to help...so it's like you have to keep conjoling them with extended dialogue just to get the full question answered. Just really horrible vibes here every time I go. Makes me leave here every time with an elevated blood pressure. read more

The best ups ever !! I want to give Nesha a special shout out for helping me earlier today. I remember her when she first started you can tell she was a little nervous and was Hard on herself for how long it would take her. I come in almost every other week and I can't express enough how faster she has gotten , how confident she is , and how she multi task. Her attitude is phenomenal , she's a great greeter , she always makes me laugh , and she has great communication skills. I've shipped a lot of things and everytime I come in I go straight to Nesha I believe it's time for her to take off her trainee badge shes awesome. I normally come in to ship belongings, but today I came in to fax a good amount of paper and even though she was working with other customers she kept me updated with what page the fax machine was on. read more

Check your charges carefully. I was billed for "service options" today, and I have no idea what that's for. I told the employee the package was worth not more than $100, and she put $101. I don't know if that's the source of the "service options" charge. I shipped something for my husband from another UPS location two weeks ago and his receipt doesn't show a "service options" charge. DRIVER LIED. I ordered a shipment of cabinet knobs, and after tracking the order today, it shows as being delivered to my front door. This is MIRACULOUS as my house is down a gravel road, and a gate key is required. NOT sure WHO'S front door this LAZY, LYING driver left my package at, but he/she is ILLITERATE, because there is NO WAY they delivered the package to the CORRECT house if they are looking at HOUSE NUMBERS. read more
