This is the worst UPS in the area, they don't deserve a star. They are heartless and the drivers also. A parcel was shipped to me from Africa, When I tracked it showed out of delivery, and I waited a whole day and didn't get my parcel and when I tracked it again it showed the item discarded. Who does that, and no one is being held accountable for this callous behavior? The fact this UPS Roswell received my parcel and stole it amazes me. The people who work in this store are dynamite. They have to put up with an immense amount of nonsense from customers---people who haven't taped up packages, who haven't addressed packages, who KNOW the address of their packages. They are more like babysitters or caretakers than they are employees. And the customer base is usually pretty unhappy---the nature of the business that is conducted in there is usually a stressful one and people show up more or less at their worst. Yet the workers at this branch are without fail courteous and helpful and professional and great. As a guy who sends back a lot of online purchases, I'm in there a lot and I feel like I know them pretty well and I find myself constantly impressed by their cool Zen and their patience with people I myself would never be able to tolerate. But the management---good god, the management. This store is in freaking Roswell, New Mexico---a place that gets so hot in summer that it routinely gets health warnings due to heat. Yesterday, for example, it was 105 degrees. That is not hyperbole. It was ONE HUNDRED AND FIVE DEGREES. And it's not even June. This summer it is going to get much, much worse. And for more than six weeks now THERE HAS BEEN NO AIR CONDITIONING. I repeat: SIX WEEKS. ONE-HUNDRED-DEGREE-WEATHER. NO AIR CONDITIONING. They have to prop the door open, obviously, which means there are also bugs in the store. So they have to spray for bugs. So in addition to absolutely smothering heat, and bugs, there are also choking clouds of toxic bug spray in the air. I was in there for, oh, six minutes to mail my packages. Those workers are in there for EIGHT HOURS AT A TIME. It is not just uncomfortable; it is unhealthy and downright dangerous. It's most urgently dangerous to the workers, of course, but there are also elderly customers, and infirm customers, and sooner or later someone is going to pass out. And, no doubt, get a concussion. Or worse. UPS obviously has the resources to fix this. They simply are not. I don't understand how the corporate structure works but it seems to me that the local management just doesn't want to pay the money to fix or replace the air conditioning. They would rather just make everyone suffer while they pocket their usual profits. It's slumlord-management at its worst and most dangerous. It's disgraceful. I hate to suggest a boycott because it might endanger the work of the good people behind the counter there, but I have already gotten the polite meaningless promises (or brush-off, really) from UPS corporate, so maybe a boycott is the only thing that UPS will understand. Called and spoke to someone who told me their hours were 10-3. I got there at 2 and they already locked the door. I guess they're just work whatever hours they want in Roswell. I was in a huge bind and really needed their help. Good luck at this place. read more

The store was clean and the employees were fine. But charging $16 for four prints of paper seems a bit excessive. If I wasn't traveling I would've done the prints myself but I had no choice due to time constraints. read more

I just wanted to give my gratitude to Mr. Orlando. I don't think postal service or UPS workers receive enough credit especially around the holidays. Orlando was extremely polite, helpful, and time efficient all while it was extremely busy and having to deal with so many costumers who I'm sure weren't the most pleasant. $10 to buy a box from a cranky employee. At least the store was clean. Boxes can't be returned, so make sure you know the exact size you need. Gonna cost more for the box than to ship the item. read more

Everything in Roswell is a huge monumental task. From out of state and the Postmen will not put my mail in a relative's mailbox. So I went to the UPS store to get a mailbox. She said I need two forms of ID. I have a driver's license and a social security card. Nope, need another picture ID. Who owns another picture ID other than a driver's License. So she gets on the phone while all these people are behind me in line. It is like I was buying a house or something. Then she says my supervisor said we need another picture ID and that was that. Why is the smallest task in this godforsaken city such a huge problem? This store is horrible. Everyone should be fired. read more

We paid a premium for delivery on the 24. The 8 packages arrived in Roswell at 1am on the 25th. At 6pm we are waiting for temperature sensitive meds with a required 70 degrees max to arrive after being in a truck at 100 degrees. UPS is a mistake in Roswell. Use Fed Ex instead. A chan gets of address because of delivery incompetence requires 5 days notice with UPS. If I had tr CD days advance notice that U P S was going to screw it up, I would ship fed ex tocbeging with. read more

I do a lot of on-line shopping, and, unfortunately, those products must at times be returned. So I've been to the UPS office here in Roswell many, many times since I moved here last year. Don't have much of an option, cuz most Amazon sellers want their returns done thru UPS. Lucky for me, the service here is excellent. I also ship personal packages back 'home' regularly. I don't trust the post office here, so I use UPS for those, too. My only complaint is that I recently stopped by the UPS office at 9:00 on a Saturday AM to mail a pkg. According to this website, the store opens at that time on Saturdays. That turned out to not be true. The sign on the store states that they don't open til 10:00 AM on Saturdays. Went in an prepaid for a business mailbox ($320/year) approx 4 weeks ago. Then COVID-19 happened that prevented us from opening and completely killed the plan ... never used the box the first time. I went to the store and asked to cancel the box which they quickly obliged. Once cancelled I asked about a prorated refund. It was quickly answered with no refunds. When I explained all of this, I was again told no refunds period. I then asked to just keep the box since it's paid for. I was told sorry you cancelled it. I asked for a manager and was told there wasn't one. I asked for the owner and was told they would contact her (Iesha) and have her contact me. 4 days later and still no contact, no refund, and nothing but frustration. I have called each day to follow up and am told by Susan that she should have contacted me by now. Given these business practices, especially during the current pandemic I highly do not recommend this store. Absolutely shameful. read more
