I've always had good experiences at this UPS store. I dropped by today to ship something. There was no line so I was taken right away. I had everything ready - the box was sealed and I had the address I'm sending the package to. The rep behind the counter was happy I was prepared. As with all UPS stores, they sell packing materials if you need them, have copy and fax services, and post office boxes. (I'm sure I'm missing something.) Prices have gone up over the years. I expected my package to be about $5 to ship UPS Ground (it was very small) and it was $15. But, if I sent it FedEx it would have been more expensive. Often when the staff sees me coming in, the will bring the package up to counter without me asking for the package. They do a great job. read more

I don't know why other people there have a problem at this location. I've been going there for several years doing Amazon returns. They're always nice and always helpful. You get what you give. You probably go in there with an attitude and don't be surprised when you get one back. I found them always to be polite, helpful, and more than accommodating. read more

To all reading, avoid this location and service as much as you can. I recently shipped a computer through them, 50 lb. box about 2 x 2 ft. They "lost" it and gave me $100 for the claim. Unfortunately, a package this large and heavy in size is nearly impossible to lose, and the company was negligent to check the cameras or properly trace it down. Upon not honoring my requests in the claim, I filed a complaint with the BBB, which they refused to respond to. I am now suing in small claims for all relative fees and costs. According to tracking, this package never left the store. This is a lot of extra work I have to do to make sure stores like this one don't go unaccounted for the negligent actions. read more

I just moved to Rolling Meadows and I have to tell you, this is such a friendly UPS store. They answer the phone promptly are super nice in store and just seemed like they genuinely want to help you. I have had a couple packages held at this location and picking them up has really been a breeze. I definitely recommend this location for all your shipping needs. read more

Been here several times in the last month or so... mostly to ship things back to Amazon or eBay. Service is very good and efficient, the older guy there is nice and once gave me a freebie label printing on my first visit. It's a clean, neat store... and you can drop USPS packages with return labels at the same time, as the post office comes to pick up their items every afternoon. I've been going to the UPS Store on Euclid and Plum Grove for 7 years. Never ever had an issue. New owner/new managememt: WENT IN last Thursday to return an Amazon Purchase. Was told I had to pay for a box in order to make the return.$5 later I was given a receipt and a drop off package receipt. Supposed to hit my Amazon account in 2 to 4 hours. 4 days later I return to UPS Store and they tell me that I don't have the correct receipt. The receipt they gave me!! Computer generated from their system. They don't know where my Amazon return is, and according to them (I'm not kidding, those words came out of his mouth) I'm the one who made the mistake. What?!?! I was told they were very busy and had to take care of hundreds of boxes not just my package, which obviously they have a hard time keeping track of. No accountability. So, not only am I out my Amazon return (that easily pays for 2 Christmas presents) I'm out the $5 as well that I had to spend on a box. My only mistake was going to that UPS store. Don't make the same mistake I did. read more

I have had a mailbox here for over 20 years !! It has changed ownership many times. The service has been fairly consistent. The parking lot has good space and enough entrances to allow a good flow. The only issue is that a couple of years ago they stopped offering notary services which I used to use on and off. I wish they would reinstate that. read more

The guys who work at this store are always so kind and helpful. I'm usually in there once a week for Amazon returns (haha), and I'm in and out in under a minute. Even if there's a line, someone from the back always comes to help customers first. I once had to return 5 50+ lb boxes, which I was fully prepared to carry in myself, but they immediately started helping out and two of them carried all my boxes into the store. The Rolling Meadows IL UPS store is seriously great! Every time I've been there, the guys have been helpful and positive. Recently, I wanted to try scanning some of my collage papers that I made (artist here) into digital art for some of my clients. I had no idea what I was doing or if my idea would even work. They helped me the entire time, talking and laughing with me. I did not feel like I was a pain or a bother to them at all when I was telling them what I was trying to accomplish. I love going to this store. And now that my I was able to do my art request, I will continue going to this location for my scanning and printing needs. (and of course my mailing needs, too!). Do not trust these guys with valuables. Honestly think the two guys working on 6/26 stole my Amazon return which was a 65 inch tv. The item never left the store and said they were printing my receipt while off line. The topic of the tv kept coming up, if it worked, features it had, etc and the guys gave each other a look. Made me think this tv was getting stollen...sure enough that's what happened. read more

This used to be a great store. Not anymore. One star is one too many. I went into this store a few weeks ago, or rather, I tried to go into this store. It's supposed to open at 10 a.m So I waited around until a car dropped the guy off who was supposed to open at around 10:15. I said, "You're supposed to open at 10. The guy, who I later found to be named Jimmy, said, "Well, I'm here now." Wow. This wasn't this first time this has happened with him. So, I am disabled and walk with a walker. I went in and was talking to a guy in line next to me about "the virus". Jimmy swings around and tells me that I "offended him" and to "take my package somewhere else". To avoid a scene, I left after standing nearly half an hour. I went to the Wing Street location in AH, which is fantastic. BUT, this story gets better. My wife called UPS Headquarters to tell them about the incident. Naturally, they were horrified. Not cool to be abusive to someone who is handicapped. She spoke with a woman named Paige, in charge of Customer Relations. Paige was going to contact the owner and told my wife to expect a call in a few days. No call ever came, so my wife called Paige again. Apparently, the owner backed up his employee and approved of the incident. My wife informed Paige that we would NEVER do business with that location again. The owner must not care about customer service, discrimination or anything else we value. We are going to the Wing Street location from now on. I wanted EVERYONE to know what a rat hole this location is. So much for doing business locally. I'll go where my business is appreciated. read more

I often visit family in the area, and sometimes ship gifts from this UPS store. I have always found the workers happy to help me and are informative on the different options. They use to be across the street, but moved to this location not too long ago. I like this new location much better, it is always clean and up to date. If you are planning on shipping near Christmas time, I would suggest giving your self a few extra minutes on planning your visit, because everybody and their brother inevitably tries to ship on the same day. read more

I have been using this UPS Store on a regular basis for 4 years and have never had a complaint. Aside from saying "Hello" they also say "I will be right with you" if they are really busy around the holidays. They are always helpful and sometimes suggest using USPS instead of UPS if my package is small or very lightweight. They pack things well and tell me all different prices for delivery dates. If they see I am having a hard time carrying a heavy box, they will open the door for me or even take the box for me. read more

The two workers ( one women and one man) who are always there are HORRIBLE. I went in there the past week a few times and the women didn't tell me the certain things I could have used.(im relatively new to shipping) and gave me only the expensive options. The man informed me of the cheaper options, half the price and was better but still was honestly not friendly and very.. I don't know how to put it but they both give bad vibes. Linn has printed a brochure for me for the last two years. He does wonderful job for an extremely reasonable rate. When he noticed that a grahic on the cover was not very clear, he called me to see if I was okay with this. I wasn't, so I redid the cover and he reprinted them for me. He is truly a professional, and I will return there always with my printing needs. read more

Terrible, Terrible customer service and not a good grasp of the business. My wife went there to ship 2 packages UPS to our daughters in school. Thursday morning it was dropped off, but the employee (owner?) shipped it out USPS. On Sunday the 2 orders were finally moved to the post office in Rolling Meadows (Thats 3 days already). They supposedly are on there way to arrive on Wednesday Feb. 15th, the day after Valentines day. My wife shipped those out on Thursday morning UPS? to arrive on or before Tuesday Feb. 14th for Valentines day. We were charged $29 for 2 packages to arrive late and take 6 days to get there. Confronted worker, told we were wrong. Very arrogant. Never will we do business again at this establishment. Besides making a horrific mistake, the individual accused us of doing what was done, and offering no apologies or solutions to problem. read more

I want to start saying that the employee here was nice. However I was shipping something that was oddly shaped and fragile. He helped wrap my item in the bubble wrap that I brought in myself. He then went on to tell me that he had a perfect box for it and would take care of the rest. I asked about cost of shipping materials and he said it would only be a few bucks. He came out with a massive box that fits a set of golf clubs (it was even called this on receipt) when I was mailing something that was 6" x 24" and maybe a half-inch thick. He said that the item needed extra cushioning to make sure didn't break. While I appreciate his effort protecting my item I think he went a little over-the-top but I figured atleast my item will be safe. He told me shipping my item would cost around $10 so I expected a bill Of about $15. When I got my final bill it was $29! I gasp at my receipt- THE BOX WAS $10!!! I question him on this and he says the owners set the prices on boxes. Moral of the story- BRING YOUR OWN SHIPPING SUPPLIES AND BOXES. this same box is maybe $3-4 on amazon. RIP OFF. guess the estimate of a couple bucks in shipping supplies way off. By the time I saw my bill my entire item was boxed up and ready to go. There was no going back. I feel totally misinformed and cheated. I will not being going here to ship anything anymore. Too bad for them because I ship a lot. read more
