I found a book and some stick on nails I waited in line for and knew the cashier was not selling items that didn't have tags (there's a sign up front that says this policy too). However I thought all books were a set price and didn't worry until it was my turn and she asked if the book had a tag. I said no and told her where I found the book on the shelf. She said she can't sell it without a tag and just stared at me as if she was waiting for me to either put up a stink or ask more. I just said well I guess I can't buy it then? She set it aside. I did ask if she could just price it or get a manager and she said she was a manager and left it at that. Why was it on the sales floor then without a sticker if you have this policy? She said it would be out on the floor in the next day or so after getting a price. I stopped by later in the week after that to see if I could find the book again but I sadly couldn't find it, I got some other items instead and the gentlemen this time was super friendly and was astounded at hearing about my previous visit. If I knew about their policy beforehand I would have just taken a sticker off one item and put it on the book...I won't stop here again as it's out of the way.

They offer 24/7 phone service but it's ineffective and the information they told me was wrong, although staff was polite. Very disappointed. Won't ever use Kings again.
