Never had this problem here before, but have an Amazon return that was supposed to be able to drop off without label or box. I printed the label anyway. Got to this UPS store, which I have done many times before. Today, they said I had to buy a box. Amazon (who is paying them) says I do not. Very poor customer service. I have owned a Personal Mailbox at this location (UPS Store 4420) for almost 4 years...I do regular business here, sending and receiving packages I don't trust to the front stoop. As long as I have been here, there is a young lady named Madison, who has been here longer! Always helpful! Knows me by my box number...; always a friendly greeting... I haven't had a single problem with this location. read more

Have used the UPS Store to send out lots of stuff from work, and they run smooth store. If you bring your items by 4:15pm, you can get your package practically anywhere overnight. Additionally, if you have stuff not packaged, you can leave it with them and they will package and ship it for you. read more

I like the one in Kennewick more but this place does the trick. The staff is fairly nice and the place is never too busy. It is also located in a popular parking lot so if you're running errands it wouldn't be too much of a pain to stop off. Note: I went to send something using a business account and they said they couldn't do that there and that only the main one in Kennewick can. Go figure? Something to consider. read more

I came by to use the notary services and I couldn't believe how I was treated. I let myself cool off after a few days but no luck, I'm still pissed off. My wife and I needed to sign some docs and instead of bringing in our two babies we opted to leave them in the car and go in one at a time. To start off i was ignored by the supervisor (who was also the notary) while she had a personal conversation and stood there quietly for 5 minutes. After she finished she asked me what I needed and I said notary services, she condescendingly told me that when someone asks a question like that it means what kind of documents do you need signed. I responded asking if she wanted a specific answer then why did she ask a vague question? Then she started telling me about how a notary is a legal...blah blah blah and I said ok fine and told her I needed it to transfer a car loan to my new bank and asked if we could get down to business because my wife was in the car with our two year old and infant child and that she would need to come in after me to sign the docs also. She told me if I was going to be an asshole that I could go somewhere else and closed up her book. I was in such disbelief that she would say and act in such a manner I didn't know what to say. Then she told me to leave and naturally a string of obscenities came from my mouth. It was in the negative degrees outside with 6 inches of snow from the previous days. So instead of a 2 minute drive from our house, I had to drive my babies to the duportail UPS to get the notary services there... which took 5 minutes to complete and the duportail UPS lady gave my son some sheets of paper to draw on while we took care of business. I will never go back to this UPS store and you shouldn't either. For someone who is in the service industry she has a strange way of treating customers, private conversations while customers wait, rude treatment of someone who doesn't know all the secret lingo involved in the notary business, and turning away babies in freezing cold weather. Couldn't believe it, I've been treated rudely by bouncers and fraternity guys, but I have never been so insulted and treated so poorly over absolutely nothing. Never Yelped before but after this 'C U Next Tuesday' I had to sign up and warn others not to waste their time here. I have only used this UPS store three times (since November 2013) but every time I go I end up waiting longer than I should because the same young employee always overlooks me and loudly offers to help the person behind me. UPS is normally great but I'd honestly rather go to the Richland post office and stand in line for 20minutes instead of worrying that I am being discriminated against because I'm not Caucasian. This is the only place in Richland where I feel this way. Today I went into the UPS store and while I was patiently waiting, made eye contact with the girl working. She definitely saw me come into the store because she was standing behind the desk and there were only two other people there. Even so, after she had finished with her customer she avoided me and pranced over to help another lady who had just walked through the door. She literally walked from one end of the counter to the other to help her. This place makes me feel like crap. read more

This gets 4 stars for being next to a Starbucks...so I/you can finish working while sipping a chai (or the beverage of your choice), then head next door to send said work overnight express to Minnesota (or where ever your work needs to go). Kinda hard to see from the street, it's behind a Taco Bell and Shari's. read more

Most ridiculously priced service I have ever seen. Used them only because I had already made the drive. 3.25 for a small box, 4.75 for plastic peanuts, 3.00 for their help and then the postage to mail the thing. I guess it is the giving season. Doubt if I'll go back. read more

I was at the George Washington Way UPS Store yesterday needing to ship a package to Mongolia. I have never done this before. Angie that works at the UPS Store was amazing. She was super helpful and very patient as I tried locating the various information needed for a international shipment. I was unsuccessful at locating the postal code so she went online and googled it and found what was needed. There were other questions that needed to be answered and she was going to be leaving, but gave me the names of the two other associates that would be coming in and said that she would be happy to do a 3-way call (on her own time) with me/them to make sure the package got to where it needed to be on time. Her coworker that was there at the time (not sure of her name) was very helpful and supportive as well. This was a great customer service experience and will definitely recommend this location for mailing services. Thank you ladies for a job WELL DONE!!!! read more

This place has nice employees. When I need to ship a package I can just bring in a package without having it tapped and they will tap it for you. Also a good place to drop USPS packages off at. read more
