CALL FLOYD'S FIRST…read more If you need a tow in the Racine, WI area, make Floyd's your 1st call. I was stranded on the shoulder of I-94W when my 20ft long Class B camper van broke down. I called MANY other companies -- none of which could or were willing to provide assistance in getting me and my vehicle to safety. Once I was fortunate enough to reach Floyd's, help was on the way. They sent not 1 but 2 trucks and the drivers teamed up to get my vehicle loaded on a flatbed and hauled it, and me, to a local shop they recommended where I could not have been more warmly received. The driver of the first truck is named ADAM and of the second truck, JEREMY. These guys were STELLAR. They were genuinely concerned about my welfare and in helping me and treated me my vehicle with utmost respect. AND, I thought the price was very fair. THANK YOU GUYS. That's what I get for moving to an area that doesn't even have decent restaurants. I should have known. And Racine (the area) wonders why it can't get it's economic wheels out of the mud.

Paradoxically, the service we received yesterday from Morgan was maybe 6*. He is probably the best HVAC professional we have seen in our approx 30 years with First Call. But, he came from Lake Geneva and works for the company there that has been cobbled together with First Call by a private equity firm. Sadly, as we have experienced previously, private equity firms' focus on leveraging assets results in a reduction of organizational efficiency. The fact that Morgan had to drive from Lake Geneva is a reflection of that. First Call used to be a family-owned hugely customer focused organization. When we didn't hear from them this Spring Re AC tuneup, I called in May and was told they couldn't do it til August -- for AC! Difficult to believe. I'm afraid the responsive and always great attention we got from First Call is likely gone. Having said that, let me repeat that Morgan (from the "partner" company) was flat out outstanding. But it took him an hour to get here. That's not terribly efficient

In my horrible…read moreexperience, Babies R Us did not give us the right information about this company (only Monday-Friday deliveries). This was not Estes' fault. However, when I was trying to work with them to try to get a delivery scheduled their staff and manager was completely apathetic and sounded annoyed to even be talking to me. I had to call to try to schedule a time for delivery, even though the day before the gentleman I spoke to assured me someone would call us. He was ok, hence the 1 star. When I called the second day, I spoke to a rude woman who kept talking over me and rushed me to the manager. When I spoke with the manager, he was like "what time is good for you?" and was in a rush to get off the phone. They told me delivery was to happen between 10am-2pm, and then they showed up at 9:20am. Thank goodness we were home (we'll take our stuff whenever we can get it), but I would definitely not work with them ever again. Do so at your own risk.

It's helpful to have a concept ahead of time so he can help you to narrow things down, he'll give you some friendly advice on stocks and appearance... just ask him! Luckily I knew exactly what I wanted and after a brief show and tell, I gave him some info and he emailed me a couple days later with a price quote. After that, it's a simple matter of sending him the files he needs, and he goes to work! When I got my new business cards, I was ecstatic. Literally turned out exactly like I had hoped. The quality is miles ahead of VistaPrint, so be prepared to pay a decent amount of money, but for the quality of what you get in return it is well worth it. High recommendation.

I found AccuColor through a recommendation, as they do alot of unique business cards. I contacted Gary on a Friday afternoon and went over to the shop to learn more about their process, take a look at papers and get some pricing information. We spent about an hour talking about options, paper stock etc. Gary showed us several samples of everything from letterpress foil to letterpress with one color. Everything was stunning. His advice was exactly was we needed - and got answers to every question we could imagine plus some. They carry a wide variety of in-house stocks & envelopes - which makes the process much more economical, and less timing consuming. It's hard to find a printer that has such a wide range of papers that they have on hand. From the moment we contacted Gary at Accucolor to picking up the invitations the process was seamless - they know what they are doing here - with genuine customer service, delivering a magnificent product and the best pricing I have EVER found for this kind of printing.
