I had to return a heavy item, had surgery on my hands and couldn't get the item into the store Christian was nice enough to get it to the store for me and print me a new label as the one I printed was not able to be scanned. He did an excellent job helping me and showed me that humanity still exists, even though he could have charged me for the label he did not. I appreciate people like Christian helping when people are in need. his coworker on the other hand wasn't so friendly and didn't seem very happy to be at work nor did he offer to help when the lines were long, he just continued staring at us all and pretending to be busy. read more

My husband was trying to return a bunch of blinds we ordered off Amazon that were just half an inch too large for our windows. They were in separate, long boxes. Amazon was not helpful and only supplied us with one return label for all eight boxes. But Amazon was not the biggest problem. There was an elderly woman employee, maybe early 60s? Skinny. Condescending. She turned my husband away earlier in the day, and he didn't fully understand the problem with the one label and 8 boxes. He came back later in the day with me, and I observed how weirdly condescending this woman was. She addressed me, over my husband's head, and asked me if I understood, while looking at my husband with this pitying, knowing smile. I know that it makes me look like a psycho, but honestly? I have never wanted to punch somebody more. I did not understand why she was talking to me as though my husband were an idiot, and she thought I would be okay with it. She was so infuriating, I found myself contemplating whether it would be worth it to just break her jaw. Don't go here. read more

Nice store! Great service. Picked up a package and bought some supplies. Associate was prompt and efficient.

Very disappointed in my experience here. Went in with Amazon returns. One of them said to print the label. I don't have a printer. Wanted to charge $3.50 to print label when they just printed labels for free for 5 others. Way to inconvenience your customers. Why not just print the label and send a happy customer on their way?!? I have always liked UPS. I have been disappointed with them on the last couple deliveries. I got a message Monday that a package would be delivered Tuesday. Waited for it all day. It has a big Christmas present for my grandkids in it. Waited until after 7pm, called, they had no idea. Called the next day, the package wasn't on the truck. Day 4. They said it would be on the truck. Almost 1:30pm. No sign of it yet today. I'm disappointed but hopeful it will finally get here. read more

My son lives on a military base and wanted me to send his newly purchased gaming system to an overseas base. While UPS does not send to APO addresses, they do offer packaging services. I explained that I would be sending through the USPS bit needed them to pack it. For them to pack it, it cost me 56.00!! I was somewhat hesitant but agreed because I needed to send it. When I got to the USPS they said the box was too big to send through, but I could repack in a smaller box, if not I the could send it through ground for 200.00! I went back to UPS to see if they could use a smaller box for which they refused so I bought a smaller box, used the same materials they used inside the bigger box and sent it through the usps for 32.00. Poor, rude and uneducated customer service! Beware, they do not know specific details in shipping through usps. True professional packers should know this especially for military members who cannot ship through UPS. A little research for your customers would go a long way. UPS does not not go above and beyond. My husband and I regularly use this UPS store and have to say the service is lukewarm at best. Occasionally they have an employee that says hello and provides a pleasant experience, but that is rare. After watching the owner interact with customers twice in the last two weeks we have come to believe the owners grumpy attitude sets the tone for this store. Yesterday I witnessed the owner display downright rude behavior to a very nice and very patient customer who needed fingerprints done. This is unfortunate because it is a convenient location. The store is also dirty and smells bad. Clearly the owner has lost his passion and should consider passing the reins to someone who cares enough to provide a pleasant customer experience. read more

I have used the Racine WI UPS Store at least a half dozen times over the past several years, and always had a positive experience. The staff has always been helpful, and I'm going to head up there on Thursday to ship back my DirectTV equipment. I anticipate I will have the same experience as before: prompt, courteous service. read more

Who ever manages this store is very dim. Won't create a return shipping label. First I've ever heard of this. If you are an artist shipping back and forth to galleries- don't use this store. They don't operate the same way other ups stores do. read more
