A computer is available for printing labels but I would recommend you come with boxes and labels or your wait time & service could take longer. If you have your package with or without box or labels you can get in and out the store. Don't let a line scare you. The representatives do a good job of assisting customers. I have never had an issue here. The representatives might not be the friendliest with smiles but they are efficient! And for me it works. The majority of my transactions are no cost to me because the shipping fee is covered with my return but the value of shipping is reasonable. read more

I like to give this store 5 Stars for the best when it comes to ignorance. the one girl that works at this store that go by the name nichelle seems to be very proud of how ignorant she can be.I'll tell you what I was really impressed. I think she gives this store a really bad reputation. she called my 93-year-old mother ignorant because she was confused about a certain service that was offered. then when I tried to explain to her about my mother's condition, she said she wasn't interested in hearing it and was ready to get aggressive with me. Just stopped in to ship some packages. A $5 charge to use the computer and .39 a page to print a label. Wow! Sleazy! Staff also has an attitude with their customers, and seem to get a kick out of it. Felt sorry for the Poor guy trying to get a fax sent since they won't retry to fax the fax since they didn't get a response on the first try. Look I understand this maybe a franchise business. And you may not get much of anything for taking in packages for pickup, But you got into a business to provide service for a shipping company. That's your fault not the customer and trying to find every way to nickel and dime your potential customer coming in to drop off a package is really poor service. I won't be back! This store is run by incompetent you know who's ("youths") all 3 of them. I went in to get some questions answered about shipping a certain package,and left with more questions than when I went there, and P Oed with their sneering and attitude, When I went in there my instinct was to turn and leave,but I didn't and ended up going to the one on route 130 in Jersey anyway, which I initially thought would have been my best bet, The store in Jersey answered all my questions and we're very polite took the time to help me and I left knowing clearly where I stood. Also the difference in what the store in Jersey estimated and the one in Philly was about a $50 difference. read more

If I could leave 0 stars I would. I sent a package with two pieces of Jewelry to Seattle Washington. It went from this store to South Philadelphia, to Horsham PA . At that time it was discovered that " the merchandise was missing and the package discarded" after going around and around for weeks their response was " oh well " it's missing .... And sent me a check for $113.35, with no explanation just a dirty torn check. If I cash that check , they are off the hook ( I'm obviously not cashing it ) but they did not include that explanation. I would not use UPS again for anything in the world as their corporate policy is apparently that their employees are permitted to steal anything they want. Nicely tucked away in the shopping center. Currently they only allow 3 customers at a time. The workers here are very nice and helpful. The service is fast and efficient. BEWARE. This UPS store tries to take advantage of customers. I'm an avid Amazon shopper and as such I go through the return process quite frequently. With that being said I have gone to multiple UPS locations and have been able to return Amazon products hassle free with the drop off in ups store no labels needed option. I have also asked at other UPS locations as to whether they need me to bring a box for them to put it into and ship it out and they have always told me that they ship these items out TOGETHER in one package and that is why Amazon has the no label needed option. The lady here just tried to charge me $1.35 ea/ to pack my two returns into bags. Definitely reporting her to Amazon but amazon returners beware. read more

I purchased a vintage 1950's Pepsi picnic cooler (22lbs) from a very nice lady that lives close to this stores location. The cooler was in great condition w/rare nice original blue paint and undamaged metal exterior. We have excellent photos when dropped off. We paid $60 to this store to pack and ship. When received in SC, the item was packaged well in undamaged box and cooler wrapped nicely in bubble wrap. However, large deep damage on corner (silver dollar size) of cooler w/dent that expanded beyond about the size a small hand. Whoever damaged this cooler at The UPS Store # 5145 know they did it, packaged and shipped after they did it. When I called the store the guy that answered the phone was very very rude (to say in a nice way). Did not apologize or even act with any concern or care that someone in this small store damaged someones rare property. Just said someone from UPS will eventually call and hung up on me. If I were UPS I would not subcontract to this independently owned store and as an individual I would look elsewhere for shipping services even if I had to travel further. If your looking for a UPS store that does not accept pre-labeled packages, than this is the store for you. My pre-labelled boxes were begrudgingly accepted and was told not to bring boxes there again. Apparently they want to sell you the postage because the profit margin is much higher and the drop offs "don't really make much money." I would like to add that in using over a dozen UPS Stores in the country, every store was HAPPY to accept any package and told me bring as many boxes as you want, we get paid for each one. read more

The worst experience at any UPS in the Philadelphia/ South Jersey Area. Would never go back here and considering just not using UPS as my go-to carrier. The workers there are disrespectful and rude to say the least. They tried to charge me for something they should be doing for free. They make UPS look like scum. My story: I had a large box (weighing over 30lbs) to mail out. I went to UPS this morning with my friend and his mask broke so while he stayed outside to fix it, I (a small figured woman) tried to take the big box in and when I walked in the workers were looking at me with their noses pointed (like I was below them). As I'm walking in, the handle on the box broke and all 3 or 4 of the workers began laughing loudly in a mocking way. I proceeded to the 2nd desk/cashier and she was so nasty. She didnt greet me or ask me what I needed. She didnt say a word just stood there and watched me. She saw that the box was too heavy for me and she wouldn't help me lift the box to put it on the counter or come around the counter to scan it. She watched me struggle and no other workers in the store offered to help either (they were all bigger/taller than me). Not only did she just stand there watching me without saying a word, she blurts out "I'm going to charge you to tape up the box"... um first of all amazon says that UPS will box/package my item for me at no charge... so I said no to paying for it.. so she wouldn't tape or finish packaging the box. read more

This business gets two stars due to one employee. When I was in the store there was a young male employee, who wore glasses, arguing loudly with someone over what appeared to be speaker phone. I've read other reviews and he appears to get the same bad review each time. Eventually this "man's" bad attitude began carrying over to customers. He snapped at a customer when he was asked an innocent question. I went to this location to send package out for which I had a prepaid label, package required 1 strip of tape and I was charged $1.00, I have never been to any UPS store where they actually charge for tape especially such a minimal amount. Additionally the worker was rude though i believe it was not her intention she just knows no better. When voicing my concern she abruptly cut me off and responded I can't tell my boss nothing I need my job. Ultimately being a small business the owners and the workers need to realize you want to appease the community in which your business is located. Lack of community support equal closing of business. DO NOT PATRONIZE this business there is a UPS box located in this shopping center tape your package at home and drop in there. I went to get fingerprints done for a background check. I am an RN and have to get this for work. I have gotten my finger prints done here twice before as a walk-in. I entered the store to two men behind the counter. I was the only customer there. Repeat, I was the ONLY customer there. I was told that I needed to make an appointment to get the prints done. Keep in mind that it takes less than 5 minutes to do this. They simply have to punch in a reference number that I give them and then take electronic prints. These guys said that they could not help me because a customer was coming in in a few minutes. I asked if there was anyway that they could do me this favor since I was the only person in the store and they refused. These guys were behind the counter doing NOTHING. They went out of their way NOT to help me. Pathetic. I won't be using this business again. read more

I went here to get a simple notary on one of my documents. They argued with me for about 10 minutes that they won't do notaries for criminal record checks but online research into fed ex policies proved otherwise. They eventually gave in and notarized my document for me. When I received it back, the recipient said it was illegible and had many mistakes. Another ups I went to was able to notarize my documents with no issues so I don't understand why this one is different. read more

Horrible customer service, very disrespectful, rude and LAZY!!! BEWARE OF THIS LOCATION I called this location days before preparing a package for shipment, in order to find out what is the most weight they accept. I was told 150 lbs. When I brought the package over, she refused to ship it. She lied that the maximum packages can be up to 108 lbs. and that I didn't call them. Kept arguing with me for at least 10-15 minutes. There were three workers at the store at the time, and wouldn't even put it on a scale to check the package's actual weight, told us to leave. They told us that we have to go to UPS freight location 30 minutes drive from there. The last words we heard from her on our way out were "I don't care". I am a business owner, and if I treated my customers this way, I would bankrupt. The UPS website says: "*Packages can be up to 150 lbs. *Packages can be up to 165 inches in length and girth combined. *Packages can be up to 108 inches in length." My package was less than 150 lbs. and 100 inches combined, 60 inches in length. I sent my son antibiotics in NY from Phila because urgent care would have cost him $150. I asked the girl to overnight them because he was really sick. She said it would be $11.25 and be there the next day and I was so happy! He didn't receive them the next day and when I tracked it they said they had incorrectly sorted the package. Hello, not my fault isn't this your business?? Needless to say, he didn't receive the medication until 4 days later! Urgent care weren't looking so bad at this point! In the past I've given them packages and asked them to put on the label and they take the package and label, scan it, then put it to the side and move on to the next customer. When I wait and ask them to secure the label in front of me they get an attitude. Today, after waiting 14 days for the purchasing company to process the return I realized UPS never sent the two of five packages. I went to this UPS store and the Manager was yelling at me telling me: "call UPS". I said you are wearing the UPS shirt and he began to lift up his shirt while asking me if I wanted him to take it off. I took in 26 packages with prepaid label on them to this location and the clerk was upset with me. He told me that the money wasn't going to his breach since i wasn't making the payment up front. As a result, he throw the boxes with no caution. I had breakable things in those packages and he didn't even care. He said next time i had to call for pick-up. How I'm I suppose to know that the money does not go to his breach, he said it's pay to UPS by an other company. You can't treat a customer different because they're not making payment up front. Whether pay up front or not, it goes to the same UPS company. I hope they make some changes in regard to the way they treat customers. read more
