Not a bad location - but a little annoying to have a giant OPEN sign, drive around looking for parking in a crazy busy parking lot, carry a HUGE box across said parking lot just to find out it is not indeed open. Every time I go into the store, there's some issue with the way that item I'm bringing in his package or with their policies that don't coincide with every other store that's a UPS store in the country. The experts (wrong) of shipping and printing have failed or ignored the first rules of customer service. treating their customer base with courteous and thoughtful service! this location is 1.5 miles from my home ((so I am local!!)) but they have chosen to loose my business over $.10 worth of tape and on another job $.02 worth of printing a label (paper!!!). hey owners- policies of your management practices are guidelines... customers make your business thrive! you'd do better to note this as a basis of understanding. read more

Came in today with a large print to ship flat. Lauren helped me to figure out how to send and pack myself as the price for the store to do it was, quite frankly, ridiculous. Lauren was professional and very helpful. As I was starting to put together the box with the tape gun provided, another employee, Laurie, came over and proceeded to tell me that she would not insure my package because I wasn't preparing it properly and I needed to sign something to waive the insurance. She was incredibly rude and unprofessional. Needless to say, I requested my money back and took my business down the street to FedEx. I can't begin to tell you how much more professional they were. The young lady who processed my refund at UPS seemed embarrassed (Evelyn) and was very nice. Sadly, I will not be doing business here again. read more

Requested 145 color copies (a one-sided Christmas letter with photos). The first machine continued to jam and produced approximately 60 copies. Finally, after 30 minutes, the job was moved to another machine. The second copier produced excellent copies on heavier weight or glossy paper. Asked if the first 60 could be rerun on the second machine and the Manager stated yes, but I would still need to pay for the 60 original copies, plus the new copies. The total of 145 copies is $85.55, and if I wanted the better copies and tossed the original 60 copies, I would have paid $120.95. I stated I was extremely disappointed. I have gone to this store for the past 2+ decades. I will now go to another location. Even offer a discount. Note: The young person handling the order was friendly. read more

This UPS store is such a rip off. I went in to overnight a envelope, they charged me $52 told me it will be there on Monday. Monday came the letter did not show up. I go in and ask what happened, two egirl employees said oh, you did priority mail. I said no, I asked for overnight and you charged me $52. One said well there's nothing we can do, it left Parker today and will arrive sometime, the post office is slow. Did not offer to try to make it right or anything. I WILL NEVER GO BACK! read more

I made an online purchase which included free UPS shipping, but surprise when you get to the store, they require a five dollar pick up fee. This is not free shipping, although it is a fee charged by the store and not the retailer. I have had two other guitar deliveries to the store and was not charged this fee however they are adamant that they should have charged me even though my retailer paid for the full shipping. I have made similar purchases that were shipped to the FedEx store down the road and their people are friendly and just happy to have your business. read more

It can be annoying trying to give someone directions over the phone, but these guys were so patient with me. DO NOT USE THIS UPS STORE TO RETURN ITEMS. I recently needed to return some clothing that I purchased online from a known travel clothing/accessory site. They provided a return label through USPS. I dropped the box with the return clothing off and and was told that I could not get a receipt since it is being shipped through USPS. Well the item was NEVER receive and I now have no way to trace it. I am out the $100 without any recourse. read more

This UPS store lost my chemotherapy drug delivery 2 months in a row and although eventually found, UPS is no longer responsible once their franchisee signs that they accepted the delivery. The store manager now tells me that the store would only responsible for $100 of the $7,400 cost of the drug had it not been found. The store owner does not seem to care. I prefer to come here instead of the post office for the following reasons: - They save my information for easier mailings - I never have to wait upon entering the store - My entire visit is normally less than 3 minutes - They have several employees working at any given time (today, there were 7 employees). The friendly, expedient service is worth paying an extra dollar or two to ship a box. read more

Horrible store. Tyler failed to pack my shipment AT ALL (after I dropped it off to be packed), it was destroyed in transit (overseas for $140), and after demanding a refund, he called me a psychopath, said I was lying (despite my showing him the receipt, ebay photos from the buyer of the item, and that the item was in the photos clearly not packed and in the original box I dropped it off in). Also smelled very strongly of pot, which is whatever, but probably not a great thing to do on the job. After I said he stunk like weed, he said "what are you, a cop?" and threatened to then call the cops on ME if I didn't leave the store. Note that I wasn't irate or mean during any of this, just asking for a refund on shipping, since they didn't pack my item AT ALL and it was totally smashed when shipped overseas. I've emailed the manager Lisa Dixon and opened a case with UPS corporate, hopefully I get a refund and this jerk gets fired for being a stinky pothead employee that doesn't take any responsibility for his mistakes. Basically threw the entire thing in my face after he realized he messed up and didn't pack the shipment. read more

I've been to other UPS stores (Most are independently owned) and have never had an issue dropping off a package(s) that was to be shipped on a UPS account number (versus paying the store right there and then and shipping under the stores account number). All other stores gladly take them, help me fill out the forms and send me on my way. Not these guys. These guys would only do 2nd day or Overnight shipping with my account number. Their claim was that UPS wouldn't give them the forms for ground delivery so if I wanted to do ground I'd have to pay them. If I wanted to use my UPS # I'd have to do 2nd day or overnight Now according to UPS this store used to take ground delivery packages like this. And then decided not to earlier this year. So hey guys, don't lie to me. Tell me "we're not happy with the amount UPS pays us on ground packages on account" or "it's a pain in the backside" but don't blame UPS for your decisions. So I drove to the Alameda and Broadway's UPS store who's always helped me with my shipments and gladly took my packages. read more

I'm not impressed with the UPS store at this location. I shipped a 10 by 10 by 10 box and they charged me $42. The total weight was 2.5 lb. After doing additional research online after having it shipped, I don't know what type of surcharge they are adding to every shipment, but something tells me that they are ripping the customer off because even the ups.com rates or less. Somewhat surprised at other reviews because the three times I have visited in the last month, the employees seemed to be friendly and well-trained. My issue is with the exorbinant cost to pack and ship something. I sent a small handfull of pens to Vegas for a tradeshow, and these robebrs charged me %5.99 for the $1.25 box I had previously bought at Staples, and then another $5.00 for them to pack it, which I had gotten for no charge at Staples. No wonder they have 10 people wandering around this small space "working" all the time. Back to Staples if they can get their computer issues fixed. read more

I went to this location to get a document notarized. The clerk demanded to know what the document was for, even though it was clearly titled at the top. I told her it was for a change of address. Apparently that did not satisfy our amateur sleuth, so she demanded more information. Once her investigation was completed she deigned to sign the document. Then she wanted my phone number. I told her I didn't want to give it since I get too many marketing calls already. She said she had to have it. After I gave it to her she accused me of providing a false number and tried speaking to me like I was the flunkie in the conversation. She threatened to deny service which I gladly accepted, went down the street and got it notarized with no issue. This is the second incident like this I've had at a UPS store. They need to explain to their staff that notarizing a document simply attests that the notary witnessed the document being signed and does not authorize them to stick their noses in matters they wouldn't understand anyhow. read more
