The UPS store in Orange is incredible. The people that work there are courteous and efficient. It is best to go during off hours if you don't like to wait in line. This location offers shipping, packaging, printing and other services. There is a large selection of all the materials needed for shipping every size package from small to extremely large and bulky for sale at fairly reasonable prices. read more

Terrible service. UPS needs to hire professionals and train them!! I went in on September 1st wanting to send a regular envelope to Denmark in Europe. The employee(pretty girl with long dreads, huge Nails and even huger eyelashes) had NO IDEA UPS went to "some far away places in Europe"!!!! I had to insist that she triple check as I have sent UPS to Denmark before. She finally "discovered" that yes, it was possible. Then proceeded to quote me a ginormous price of $179 for a regular size envelope - totally out of normal levels. She looked a little stoned.... I would avoid this location if you ever needing to make an Amazon return, which i do frequently since I buy a million things on Amazon. I guess each location is independently owned and this location charges $2.50 for each label they print for you. I've used ups for Amazon returns all around the country and never encountered this before, for example the ups store down the street in milford doesn't do this and their employees are much more friendly! Wow what rude and terrible service. Needed a package to be signed for ups sent me message saying I could have it sent to a ups store which I did. Someone there signed for it on Friday I got the confirmation email and went In the store with it they told me nope they don't have it and to call the shipper. So I did. They had the same info I did. I called back Saturday. Same thing. Only rude as hell like I was putting them out. Told me to call back Monday afternoon which I did got rude put out employee again claimed it's not there and they don't know or the person that signed for it from their own store. Called again after calling ups spoke with same rude employee told me to go to ups directly which I did. Ups said the same thing they signed for it and I watched the ups employee call that store only to get the same rude employee who hung up on her. Ridiculous. Never do business with them read more

I'm puzzled by the negative reviews. I've been using their services for years and I always find the staff friendly and helpful. They'll always go through the various speed and pricing options and, because I'm a grandparent with out of town grandchildren that I send "grandma gifts" to, the fact that their names and addresses are in their system attached to my "sender" info, make the transactions go extremely fast. I consider them to be a great neighborhood resource. read more

I would give zero stars if I could. I was mailing something important to a friend whose daughter really needed these items. I followed all distance rules and was standing six feet from the woman who was very nicely helping me. The owner of this store called on the phone and began screaming at his employees and myself to FOLLOW THE RULES. I finished my transition because my friend really needs the food, but that is the last penny I will ever spend in this store. We must all be more patient and courteous at this time. He should learn that. read more

Nasty and dreadful service. On a Wednesday morning, I called to ask the best way to order 3,000 bw copies and the cost. Employee told me best to email the document. The email was promptly and politely acknowledged. On Thursday, received an email stating their machine needed service and said copies would be ready Friday. On Friday, I called to find out when my copies -that were delayed due to machine issues - would be ready. The first person said that she had no outstanding orders and the machine had been fine. She put a 'manager' on the phone who asked if I had used their services before. I replied no, I was trying their copy service for the first time. He then said they should have had a credit card and only 850 copies were ready, it would be another 45 minutes. I explained no one had said that to me in all the communications and I go to get them later and I expected the entire order to be ready. He said I should find someplace else to get my copies and he didn't want to do business with someone like me and he hung up. Clearly, they lied about the machine. The 'manager' didn't make the copies-or stopped the nice employees from continuing because THEY forgot to get a credit card. Businesses should not waste 3 days of another businessperson's time. read more

I remembered I had to mail a package on Friday I remembered at 6:20 p.m. I knew the UPS store closed at 6:30 so I got there in 5 minutes. Needless to say the clerk was not happy to see me. First of all he never looked up at me even though I apologized for arriving so late. I explained that it was a prepaid label and that all I needed was a receipt and a stamp that said fragile. He told me that perhaps next time I come in earlier he would accommodate me. I was incensed. I have spent over a thousand bucks in shipping fees this year. I shipped a package with UPS. I was told that after three failed deliveries, they would hold the package for five days. Instead, it was shipped back to me. I spent a week and half and eight phone calls trying to get this fixed. I was told multiple times that this was UPS's mistake, and that I "would get a call back." Each time, I was eventually told that it was someone else who could fix my problem. (Oh, you need UPS Corporate. You need the shipping store. You need the receiving store.) None of them were any help in the end. This store offered to pay back roughly half my additional expenses if I reshipped with UPS again. This particular store also told me three times on three separate days that they would call me back and did not even give me that courtesy once. I will not ship with UPS again and I will especially not use this store again. read more

I had a critical item that was going to be shipped to my home, but required a signature. I asked the shipper if it could go to the UPS store in Orange, CT. They agreed. I called the store to verify it arrived whereby the employee told me that the item arrived but the owner had entered a 'refused' status and it was going to go back to sender as I had not received permission to have it go to the UPS Store. I was told if I wanted it I needed to get there before it was returned and I had to pay a $10. 'Pick-up' fee. I asked to speak to the owner or have him call me so I could speak to him about his policies. He refused to speak with me and the clerk said he refused to return my call. I will never recommend this store, as I found the customer service to be totally lacking. Since I do a lot of shipping, to and from, I have returned to FedEx in Orange. I have always had world-class customer service at FedEx and they have never charged me a 'pick-up' fee. I felt like I was a victim of a 'shake-down' at the Orange UPS a Store. read more
