Stopped by this UPS store to drop off my package. There were reserve parking spots right in front of the store for UPS customers. There was no line. Took the package to register, the associate scanned and gave me receipt on the spot. Was in and out under a minute. The store has ofter features like printing, copying, fax, notary and shipping goods for purchase. Prices are similar to other UPS stores. read more

MAKE YOUR WAY TO CVS DOWN THE STREET AT THE NORTHVALE PLAZA FOR UPS! This location has the worst service. The workers here so clearly talk down to you. I dropped off a package and since the box was bigger than its contents, it was slightly collapsing by the taped edges. They asked me if I had more tape (lol) and when I said no, they told me I would be responsible if the package got lost. The box had shoes, so I'm not worried about it slithering off a small slot. Not to mention that they never offered tape even if it costs money. It's either they don't have tape as a UPS business or they don't care to offer you what you need to make sure your package gets to its destination safely. read more

I shop at Organica and ShopRite so using this UPS seemed perfect. But I will never go back. The older man is rude, condescending, and punitive. He mansplained how packages need to be presented, which is not how any other UPS store requires them. He embarrassed me and then had the nerve to charge me $1 for a label that he decided the package needed. The UPS in Nanuet or Congers is far better and the staff at both other locations have never spoken to me the way that man did. read more

I dropped off a package and the tall Asian guy was VERY RUDE!!! I always drop off packages there but never again. There is a lot of UPS drop off outlets ( a lot of competition)so i think its worth it for the employees to be a little nicer AND not talk down to your customers. I drive from NY daily to give my business here! always great service and efficient! I been to a dozen UPS stores nothing beats this one. The inside is always clean and welcoming and computer always works with ease, big work stations to package and printing on site. Jay and his wife care and run a great business together! as for the person complaining about tape below...they use more than one piece of tape more like, 5 minimum! If the tape was peeled back you can't just lay it back down LOL! in addition tape doesn't cost a $1 if it does your better off not taping! The $1 taping ensures your package arrives and secured as it travels through various places, transportation and conveyor belts. let alone it could rain when it's sitting outside a loved ones house with NO TAPE. Negative comments for no reason but to try and hurt others and ignorant ideology just blows my mind! Again! Please come to this UPS store, they are open later and the UPS driver assigned to store is great and will wait to take your package if he sees people in lobby! I make it a point not to go here despite how close it is. Went there and not only was the man at the counter (allegedly owner) disgustingly rude and racist but he constantly harassed us while we were trying to print a form. He hounded myself and my family calling us slurs stating that we're taking too long on his computer and that he would charge us for thirty minutes worth of time. In reality we stood by the computer and hadn't touched it as we were trying to find it on our phone first so that he wouldn't charge us for the excess time on the computer. A truly despicable man and awful service. We only spent 10 minutes in here total before we decided to leave and try another place. The closter location was far better. read more

Went in with a package that I had literally opened less than a minute before I got there to return. He told me that the tape on the box wasn't good enough even though it had just come like that then he told me he would charge me a dollar to put one piece of tape across the box. What a rip. No thanks I will buy a whole roll for $1 and tape it. Seems like an abuse because you're standing there. Terrible customer service to try to charge a dollar for a piece of tape. read more

I recently had to ship 5 packages to a relative in California who's going to college. I was really worried it was going to cost me a ton. Plus I had a tough time getting the packages in, because they were quite heavy. Luckily the owner saw me from inside the store, came out, and helped carry all the stuff into the store, despite dealing with a back injury. He even got me a good deal on the shipping by picking the right box sizes, and not overcharging me like other UPS Stores. Total I probably saved like $45 on a $200 bill. I never had a UPS Store actually save me that much money by picking the right boxes. Will def use them again. read more

I needed to ship two items, one of which weighed 35 pounds. The employees were friendly and helpful and showed me how they were going to wrap and package the heavy item, about which I was concerned because, although the item was sturdy, an unprotected fall could cause internal damage. I had previously used this store for returns and never had any problems. I recommend this store. read more

Sent a package to my son in college. The manager in the store wrote the wrong address and as a result, package was not delivered. It is now sitting in some UPS store 40 minutes away from college. Manager of the store is arguing with me on the phone to no end. Says it's my fault. He says that I signed off on it. Why would I sign off on delivery to the UPS store 40 minutes away. I agree with all the other reviewers on the bad experience I have had at this store. My experience was I had an airway bill and went to this store is ship my package and I was not given a UPS express envelope and was asked to buy one of the stores envelopes. Last week had to step out of my house and went to this UPS location. Younger guys that work there seem nice. Not so much the older person that seems the owner who came to me with an attitude. I needed to notarize and send via UPS some legal papers. First, I witnessed the guy down talking the employees (awful, not justified at all). Then reprehended me because I did not sign the papers already (WTF?). And last, he takes my papers (he was the notary of the store) and crossed some print text with a pen which made my legal documents invalid (a good notary should know better that is a "no no"). Now I have to risk my health again and leave my house to find another notary and send my papers. What's wrong with this guy? I will never use this UPS again read more

i don't use them for anything but dropping off prepaid packages and making sure I get a receipt so I know they will be scanned and delivered. Any store like this is going to overcharge for anything you can do online or on your own, so be aware of that and proceed accordingly read more

Literally just the worst customer service. Do yourself a favor and avoid at all costs. I waited in line for 15 minutes before being helped, there were only two other customers in the store. When one of the customers left the two employees decided to both help the other customer, leaving me to wait another 5 minutes. When it was finally my turn, the employee who assisted me was very rude, and short. I was getting something notarized. The employee had no idea how to notarize something, and they messed the whole thing up (I didn't realize how messed up it was until after I paid the five dollars and left). So I waited 20 minutes and paid $5 for someone to be rude to me and waste my time. Find a different UPS. read more

If I could give this store 0 stars I would. I have used this store plenty of times but usually deL with the younger guy who works there. Today it was only the owner who is rude and greedy. He didn't know how to scan a document to an email. So he asked me to log into my email account on their computer to send the scanned copy to my email. Which defeats the purpose. I also needed to print a document. Which I sent to the stores email before I go there. Since I was already in my email I figured I would just print it from there. He seemed to have trouble figuring out how to do things on the computer, so I figured it would be quicker if I did it. Once all was done he charged me $4 for using his computer for less than 2 minutes, which he asked me to do in the first place! He also didn't inform me I would be charged for using the computer. On top of that my 2 year old was touching his cards and packaging and he yelled at her not to touch anything and also picked her up and moved her to another area. Which I did not approve of. He is rude and greedy. I would highly recommend you use a different UPS store. He does not deserve to service the neighborhood. read more
