This store is AMAZING. I am here, once a week, for all sorts of services. The ownership an customer service is magnificent. Thank you, for making my life easier. Much thanks, Jennifer read more

These guys are always so friendly and professional. It is a pleasure to do business with them. Five Stars every single visit!

I gave a glowing review on Monday because everyone was so nice. However, they said they could send it out via USPS so I left it with them. The post office doesn't have it, and UPS said it is out of their hands because they gave it to them. They promised to follow up but didn't because THEY WERE TOO BUSY. They said it's up to me to go to the post office. When you leave a package with someone, THEY ARE IN CHARGE, not who they send it to. I AM DISGUSTED WITH THEIR LACK OF FOLLOW-UP. I WILL NEVER GO TO THIS UPS AGAIN. DON'T TRUST THEM. read more

Locally owned small business owner. Super friendly and very quick. I waited a few minutes. Good value foe tracking & insurance. Had an amazon return and one to ship. Support small business owners! read more

The UPS Store - Shipping Centers Near Me - New Providence, New Jersey

I have my PO Box at this establishment and always have the best service! They are always attentive and kind and helpful. I genuinely look forward to getting my mail! read more

This is a great UPS store as the staff is always very helpful and nice! I have used their services for faxing, notarizing documents, printing and shipping. I recently needed a photo enlarged for a funeral. The staff were incredibly helpful, thoughtful and considerate in making sure the photo turned out perfect. The staff at this location is consistent; the same guys have been there for quite some time. Cannot say enough good things about this UPS Store. read more

Bad experience. Went to get a document notarized and after waiting in line I was told they don't provide notary services in the 2-3 hours prior to closing. If this is your policy that's fine but have the courtesy to let your customers know - a sign on the door would do the trick. Otherwise you end up leaving a negative impression on folks such as myself and a desire to take our business elsewhere (which I did). read more

Great service! Lex was super helpful and efficient. Was in and out in less than 5 minutes.

My Name is James.I'm writing this under my wife's profile. The UPS store in New Providence has been awesome. Whenever I come to the store everyone is courteous, helpful, & professional.Steve in particular has always been awesome. He is always ready to help & very cool attitude. The last time I went to this store I got there as they were closing.Steve was very cool and let me come inside and make some quick copies that my wife needed for school. I'm very appreciative and grateful to Steve & the regular staff @ this UPS Store read more

I usually go to the Summit, NJ UPS Store to ship, as they have always taken good care of me. But I was in New Providence for another matter, so I decided to give this store a try. BAD MOVE. I was first told that to get my package insured for $3,100, I'd have to ship it express - either overnight or 2-Day. For a cost of $815. "They really won't insure it if you send it ground," he told me. Really? That's not what every other UPS Store has ever told me. So I said, "Ok, how about ground shipping?" He quoted me $280, plus $70 to pack it. Roughly $350 to ship it. "Thanks, I'll try somewhere else." And I did. I went to the Summit, NJ UPS Store and they packed, shipped and insured it for.... $206. Not $800. Not $350. $200. When I told them what the New Providence UPS Store tried to charge me, the woman said, "Something's not right there." I agree wholeheartedly. This store is a rip off. I will never go back. read more

Whenever I've needed to return something from Amazon or send a package to my son in college, they have made it super easy for me -great service and easy parking. Also, they are open on Sundays which has been a definite plus when my Saturdays are packed with other errands and events. read more

I've been a customer at the UPS Store in New Providence for years. Every time I've gone there, Steve has been nothing but profession, helpful and is always willing to suggest cost effective solutions for what I'm trying to do. It's employees like him who make this store my preferred "go-to" location! read more

The only time I use The UPS Store is to return packages that I already have prepaid labels on (Amazon, Zappos). In 30 seconds I walk in, drop off the package, decline a receipt and walk out. The minimal interaction I have with staff was a pleasant one. I have been to this location before and never had an issue. They offer other services like packaging, copies and boxes for delivery. read more

I go to UPS instead of USPS New providence since it is so much better service! The worst one is new providence USPS customer service!! Use UPS new providence instead! There is no doubt! Fast and quick service! read more

I ship packages so rarely that every time I do, it is like the first time. The staff at this location is always friendly and helpful. Tonight I brought 5 big boxes in 15 minutes before closing. The 20 something guy who was working handled everything, answered all my questions, and was pleasant. I was in and out in 10 minutes. Wouldn't use the Post Office again after tonight experience. read more

EDIT: Updating my review after going back to the store. It turns out that the manager had not left the store! He is one of the best people in the service industry I have ever dealt with. The individual whom I had an issue with was a temporary substitute. I highly recommend this place. read more

Always enjoy working with Steve who is very considerate, professional, and helpful in finding the best way to ship all the varied items i bring him. read more

Superb experience here this morning. This was in contrast to the horrendous time I had yesterday at the Livingston UPS store.

The New Providence UPS store is my go to for all my shipping needs. Always service with a smile. Steve has helped me pack and ship my convention displays all over the country. I also use them for all my Amazon returns, quick and easy. read more

This location is so customer service oriented. A great example of courteous and prompt for any business. We shipped several large and heavy boxes and luggage. If it needs to be wrapped or boxed, they'll take care of it. read more

Awesome store, solid gentlemen always ready to help, highly recommended for your shipping needs, my fragile items are always packed very well by them and never have any problems. read more

Being a student and having a slight online shopping addiction, I find myself at UPS very often. Whenever I go there I am always treated like a priority customer. The store seems like it is always busy, but you would never feel like that. The men who work there are always professional and help me without a problem. Even though this store is about 20 minutes from my house I always choose this UPS location. When I first started college I was shopping books back and forth and was lost in the process. One guy that worked there basically did it for me, making my experience there very pleasant! read more

Walked into the store, asked to mail a package with prepaid shipping, the person who helped me was rude and did not say 1 word to me the entire time. Not even hello, have a good day, thank you, nothing. read more

These people are extortionists! Through the UPS website, I arranged to pick up a package at this store rather than having it delivered during a snow storm. The website said there was no charge for this option. The guy at the store would give me the package unless I paid him $5.00. He told me that UPS did not charge for this service, but the local franchise did and the charge was $5.00. He told me the franchise was a local small business and did not have to abide by UPS policies. After an hour on the phone with customer relations for UPS and UPSstores (yes they are different numbers), they told me and him that indeed this was a service offered by UPS and the customer should not be charged. A very unpleasant experience. I will avoid this store and UPS for both personal and business shipping. read more

I don't think its weird that the UPS store wants you to pay for their SERVICES like packing, printing, faxing, etc. The above reviews are written by a bunch of fully grown, adult cry babies who need their hands held to cross the street. If you're SO unsatisfied with your experience at a UPS store that you all you can think about for weeks is going on google and writing them a bad review than you need to get a grip. Great staff and service. read more

This store is always a pleasure to come to, I usually am there once a week and I have never had a bad experience. Great customer service!

I will only ship my packages from this UPS location. They provide great customer service and I am always helped right away. The staff is very professional which is much different than some other locations. One of the workers, Steve, always helps me box things up and ship them out so my package arrives to its location at the right time, even if I need something to get there the next day. Its rare to find staff members who work to make you their top priority and do it with a smile, and I always know I am walking into a professional, cohesive, and positive workplace each time I pick something up or send something out. The friendliness and professionalism of the staff along with their reliableness is why I highly recommend this location! read more

Have been a long time customer at this store. Steve, the manager, and staff are polite, helpful and super friendly. They are organized and keep the lines flowing when busy. They are helpful and very knowledgeable about the UPS services and printing services (banners and large poster board for parties and yard sales). If I have a lot, or heavy packages, they get to the door to open it for me before I even have to ask. Love it! read more

Twice I have attempted to use this store. Due to my busy schedule, both times I arrived 15 minutes before closing. Both times the store was already closed. I saw another customer reading the hours as well. If you have a business that is supposed to be open until 4pm, be open until 4pm. People depend on your hours for planning their errands. This is unprofessional and not a good business practice. read more

Love this store and very lucky so close by. With college students and family in all parts of the USA they are so friendly and always get the packages out and on time. I don't know what I would do without this store the past 8 years sending college packages. read more
