Package UPS tried to charge $38.50 to ship under 2lbs small, and slowest/cheapest method possible as long as I had tracking. WTF!

First a few details so you know the exact situation, the package is small and weighs 2lbs or less. I requested the cheapest shipping as long as I had tracking. The dimensions of the package are under a foot each, well under both in height and width. Guess what they told me it'd cost to ship my under 2lb small item with the cheapest method? $38.50 I went to USPS and shipped it first class for $4.75. 38.50 is 810% higher prices than what I actually paid at USPS. Over 800% that's straight up mental to try to screw customers that hard. Wtf is wrong with you UPS? I get prices aren't the same everywhere but honestly F____ you for trying to take advantage of me and spitting in my face like that.

For all your shipping and packaging needs come here. They will handle it all for you. Convenient locations and store hours. So during the holidays. Take all the stress off your shoulders and let them do it for you. You can pre package your items or they will do it for you and have your items on a truck that day. They have many services at their locations. This day I encountered no problems and a friendly staff lady at the front counter. So I was well taken care in on this trip. Beats standing in the gigantic lines in the overpriced post office. Who got time for all that. Just come here!!!

I have been to this UPS store several times and I must say the customer service is as good as it gets. I truly enjoy dropping off my packages at this location because the staff are always so friendly. I also found the wait time at this location to be minimal as the line moves pretty quickly so there is never anything to complain about. If you want friendly and quick moving service, check out this UPS location!

This location will try to defraud you when returning items to Amazon.

This store is always helpful. They do everything; shipping, printing, notaries, and even mailboxes with real street addresses.

I just recently used the online FedEx shipping website to mail three Holiday gifts to my extended…read morefamily. One for 11.2lbs at $36.69, one for 6lbs at $24.31, and the third for .1lb. at $13.93. After my family had received all three packages, I checked my bank statement and noticed that I was charged double the price. Instead of paying $36.69, $24.31, and $13.93, I was actually charged $63.30, $52.35, and $14.18 for shipping. I contacted their customer service team to try and resolve this overcharge issue, but the person who I spoke with had everything well-rehearsed, as if they had dealt with similar complaints throughout the day. Customer service stated that because I didn't enter the dimensions on the website, FedEx charged more than I was originally quoted for the weight. I told them that their website would not allow me to enter the dimensions, it showed an error each time, and would only allow me to enter the weight. I tried several times on both my work laptop and cell phone, with the same error repeating. I screen shot the error for my own personal records along with the quoted price for shipping. The FedEx website did, however, conveniently allow me to print the labels with just the correct weight. Since the error is that of FedEx's licensed shipping website, I should be entitled to the price that was advertised when I printed the shipping labels. I would have shipped with another carrier if FedEx would have quoted the final price that I was deceptively charged. According to federal law, companies are prohibited from charging a customer more than the advertised, posted, or quoted price. It is illegal for businesses to list a price and than charge you more without your consent. FedEx should not be able to use their technical issues with website to practice deceptive pricing. Charging someone more without the customer's knowledge is a trap and violates advertising laws.

Your sharpies, printing and copying services, post-its, business cards, posters made, foam-core…read morebacking, book binding, etc. are all present, just like with any office store. I prefer to DIY print, because it dulls the blow of paying for a copier, but every year the copiers become more complicated- I feel like a coot when I can't find the right button or paper tray. This is not a bad place, and it is clean and bright -sterile, even- but they don't offer some of the services that they used to. A few months ago I tried to have a photograph printed onto fabric- something I know they used to do, because I did this for an art school project years ago. They couldn't do it, and looked at me like I was an idiot for asking. In fact, every time I've been to this FedEx Office in recent years, I've been treated poorly, until today. (For better full service, I have had more luck at CopyMax.) Do you know what's annoying? Receiving a broken wine cooler for Mother's Day, and then having to pay to have it professionally repackaged for shipping because we broke down the box and recycled it (not FedEx's fault, but wouldn't you expect a brand-new appliance to function). $95.00! Also I tweaked my back carrying the thing to the back of my car. The FedEx guy was very sweet, though, and helped me a lot by bringing out a dolly and helping me out of the car, and explaining how the packaging worked. They had to build me a completely new box, because they didn't have any premade boxes that large. If you go to FedEx Office at Carrefour, go see Kevin in packaging and shipping! He was a bright spot in a very tough day.
