I had to escalate to a supervisor to get it picked up. They are quick to impose fees to the customer for failed delivery or pick up attempts so their failure to make scheduled pick ups should constitute an equal fee to be paid to the customer. read more

Delivery was great, pick up on the other hand was a nightmare. I called on Monday and asked for the dumpster to be picked up on Friday. We had to purchase a permit from the city and the permit was only for 5 days ending Friday. All was set to remove Friday when I got a phone call a few hours later saying pick up would be Saturday. So fine I gave them a day... the dumpster wasn't picked up until the following WEDNESDAY! Customer service was a joke and they refused to come and get the dumpster when I finally got ahold of someone Tuesday morning. Seems nobody has any control over anything with this company. In the meantime I had to show a house for sale for 3 days with a dumpster sitting in front of the garage. read more

Dumpster was great. Fit the need we had. The price was great and they didn't have the smaller size I wanted and they gave me the larger one for the price of the smaller one. However getting it picked was another story, it was suppose to get picked up on a Monday with the latest on the Tuesday following.... well it did not picked up until Saturday at 7am. Trying to get in touch with someone all week to find out when it was going to get picked was an issue. Because someone had made a note that it was picked it when it was not. I had no idea when it was going to get picked up until my doorbell rang and woke up my two infants on a Saturday morning (different story if I would have known). After many frustrating calls with Waste Management, we found Budget Dumpster through Google reviews. The customer service was outstanding and the price was great. The dumpster was delivered promptly. I dealt with the Memphis location and it was a breeze to make the arrangements, including getting the city permit to place the dumpster on the street. All of my questions and concerns were handled professionally and the staff was knowledgeable and helpful. I would use them again and recommend them. They were great in dropping off when it was muddy and even used my car ramps (they had gotten stuck and left BIG deep tracks). The problem was when it came to picking it up. It had been raining and the gentleman told me that he did not know if they could get there on Friday and that it could be Monday. I said that it would be great for Monday since it had been raining and it would be ample time for the land to dry out. We even discussed the point that it had been raining and that they had gotten stuck when they had dropped it off. They came on Friday even when I had agreed on Monday and gotten stuck and could not remove the dumpster then CHARGED me $150.00 2 weeks later for a "trip charge"!! NEVER will use them again. MAKE SURE THAT IT IS HAS NOT BEEN RAINING and WAIT BEFORE CALLING THEM TO PICKUP They did not use any common SENSE. Don't count on actually getting a dumpster from these folks when you need it. I called on Thursday (yesterday) hoping to find a dumpster available on Friday (today) because our prior dumpster was filled by people in the neighborhood before we could fill it with our construction waste. A dumpster wasn't available for today (which I didn't hold against them given the short notice), but I arranged to have one dropped off on Monday instead and provided Jeff with my credit card information. Jeff said that the company requires a permit to drop a dumpster on the side of the road in front of our house, which is necessary because the houses are too close together to get it into the driveway. Another dumpster company did this without a permit, no problem, just last week, but I asked Jeff to email me the information to call for the permit. I SPECIFICALLY asked if we would have the permit in time, in his experience. He said that I would receive it a couple of hours after applying, so I'd be fine if I applied on Friday morning. So I called the city at 9:30 am today, requested the permit, received it via email at 3:30 pm this afternoon, and immediately forwarded it to Jeff. He responded quickly with the following: "You'll have to give me a call tonight, the first availability would be Tuesday since its later in the day right now, I didn't want to set it up without the permit." Now we're screwed. This is a DIY project and we work full-time. We've got Monday off, and then my husband leaves for a business trip. This company has probably set us back by weeks, and in the meantime, we have a room in our house 3/4 demolished. Thanks a lot. read more

I would not even give this company 1 star. They are scammers at best and dealt with me in a totally fraudulent manner. When I ordered the dumpster for a commercial job site I was told I had a certain amount of days to keep the dumpster and if I kept it longer I would be charged for it. They said when I was done with it , I was to call in for them to pick it up. When I was completed with my commercial job(well within my time frame to keep the dumpster) I called them for pickup. They told me they would schedule for an immediate pickup. We were done with the vacant buildings ommercial buildout and I was off the job site completely. I received an email one month later stating that I had never called to have them pick up the dumpster and I was being charged for another month. I immediately called corporate and told them that I had called for pickup and they told me not to worry that they would go pick it up immediately and not charge me. Then another month went by and I received another email stating that I had never called for pickup and I was being charged for three months!! Now I was furious and when I called corporate again they told me I never called the first or second times and that they were running my credit card for a three month rental. AS A GENERAL CONTRACTOR, I HAVE NEVER BEEN TREATED WITH SUCH CORRUPT BUSINESS DEALINGS IN MY LIFE. I WOULD NOT EVER USE THIS COMPANY FOR ANYTHING. THEY WILL SCREW YOU TO NO END... read more
