Very lazy with poor customer service and discrimination. They have zero respect towards customers. They show respect of person type of service and the store stinks and is badly kept. The management refused to assist me for no reason whatsoever and corporate should consider firing these employees. They lied and said my email with my label didn't come through when he said it was sent to spam. It can't be two things. I asked for the manager and he said why. This place is terrible. I have disabilities and it is extremely painful for me to stand up for long periods and I was very patient and polite. I don't get the same in return. He demanded I take a screenshot when it wasn't going to come out right. I have done that before and it won't come out right nor fit the box. I agree with the posts about the owner/manger. He doesn't go out of his way to be helpful. As an amazon return station, I expect more. All in all it was a disappointing experience over two days of trying to resolve a printing problem. I am new in town and my printer at home won't connect so I couldn't print my return label. The only port to connect your own computer in this store for priting was broken so I couldn't print the return label from my phone. He could have helped on his own computer but he wouldn't. Sure he didn't have to but he could have. Disappointing. read more

Customer service is definitely lacking at this location. Staff members aren't friendly at all. I've been there a few times to drop off some packages and it's always the same. Staff appear to be bothered to help you. Plus they do not like to give receipts for dropped off packages. If I request a receipt I am entitled to one, regardless if the tracking number is the same as the printed label. I like having the receipt because it states the time the package was dropped off. I definitely have to find another ups store to use. read more

Agree with the other reviews concerning customer service. Thermon seemed bothered to help with my return of Direct TV receiver...even though it was as easy as scanning and sending, with no other interaction required. He got on to my 2-yr old for touching the packing peanuts...saying "Hey, we have to sell that product, girl!" Honestly...packing peanuts...wow. I went in here and got charged to drop off packages which has never happened to me before but I paid and left. I found out later that's not the case. He charged me about 9 bucks for three packages that I left there. Have heard similar stories from others and won't be back. Because of my job, I have had UPS mailboxes in several cities. This store in Germantown, Tennessee, which is run by Thurmon, offers the best customer service I've ever experienced. I have been to a couple of UPS stores around town and this one, hands down, was the worst customer service experience ever. Probably the worst customer service experience I've had in Memphis in quite some time. I was returning a Uverse receiver box, which I thought would be super easy, and it was. When I walked into the store they gentleman working asked how he could help me. My response, exactly, was "I just need to drop off my Uverse receive and get a receipt." He proceeds to explain (in a VERY condescending manner) that it is more than just "dropping off and getting a receipt". Okay, I'm fine with that. But don't talk to me like I'm an idiot. No eye contact from him while he is asking my personal info, no small talk and no thank you when I left. Just be nice people...or get another job....that's all! read more

Do not get your passport photos done here. The post office wouldn't even accept them and I had to have them retaken at the post office. Luckily when I went back here they gave me a refund. read more

I rarely write review, but I see this one as a public service. Today an employee by the name of Thomasen greeted me with a series of condescending comments and after I set up my screen directly on the desk in front of him to scan QR codes, he scanned one item, then refused to budge his arm even slightly to meet the codes for the others. He then refused to return all my items and told me to go to another store. I already looked at his name tag, but still asked him "What is your name?" After which he covered his name tag with his hand, quickly unfastened it, and shoved it into his pocket. He walked into the back of the store, apparently he was the only one manning the place. Then he told me to leave the store and threatened to call the police on me. I wish the police had come to see how absurd he was behaving. Fortunately there is another UPS store with a great staff near the target on Poplar. I'll be going there from now on. But seriously avoid going here. Who wants to experience this insanity while taking care of a routine errand? read more

I've been going to the UPS on Exeter for years. I have always found Thurmon and his staff to be friendly, professional, and knowledgeable. My items are always packed carefully; nothing has ever arrived broken. Items have always arrived to their destination on time. If I've ever needed help with anything, Thurmon is on top of it and contacts me immediately with any news. Recently, we moved about 13 miles away and I still drive to this location to ship my items. I'm not sure why people are giving such bad reviews. I had three packages to mail (2 with prepaid labels on used boxes) as well as one that I needed to buy a shipping label for. I had already packed up my things and had the address ready. I had so much to carry that as soon as one of the employees saw me, he came to help me carry stuff. I will never be back here again. I have been to UPS stores in the past and most of them are okay. This one however has some of the worst customer service I have ever seen. First, I had checked the hours due to the fact that I was on a tight schedule that day and had a lot of appointments I needed to take care of. I arrived 5 minutes before opening and waited...and waited....and waited. More than 10 minutes after they were scheduled to open the employee came in from the back of the store and started his preparation to open. Let me get this straight, you're late showing up, and then you take your time actually opening. When he finally did unlock the door, he did just that, no more. Even though there were three customers waiting he unlocked the doors and then turned around and walked back through the other doors into the shop without even thinking about actually holding the door for the customers holding packages. Upon entering he did not great anyone and when the young lady I held the door open for went in and told him all she had to do was to drop off, he pointed to the counter and just said "leave it there." I have used this store to drop off packages on multiple occasions because it is located near my office. I have never been impressed with their customer service - it is always a bother to the man who is working there to actually accept a package. Receipts are never offered, and if you request one, expect to receive some attitude with your receipt. After my experience today I will never be back. I put my phone on speaker because I was attempting to have a UPS label emailed directly to this store - the gentleman told me to take my phone off speaker and that I needed to print the label and come back. This is surprising since their store advertises that they do "printing and shipping". The attitude the employee here has is one of the worst I've seen in the Memphis area. Never again! Was told it would be around $100 to ship some dishes that would be insured for $100. My friend and I both understood total cost would be around $100 - no other costs were mentioned at all. Not once. Imagine my surprise when I looked at the receipt later after I left (which was covered up by 2 large shipment receipts - so only my signature showed) and total was $236.78!!
