I love this UPS Store located near Southwest Freeway on Airport Blvd and Kirkwood. It is technically in a tiny city called Meadows Place, which is Southwest Houston before Stafford. Coming here is much faster from Chinatown compared to the UPS Store on Westheimer. Plus, there's no toll charges. Just try not coming here during afternoon commute hours. Store is always clean and staff is really friendly. There are few shops nearby that I would frequent, like Walgreens is right next door. Plenty of parking spots. One important difference from Westheimer store was the dedicated loading spot for UPS truck being in the back of store. So, they don't compete with customers. I would rather rent a box here. Just one downside being the address is not in Houston. read more

A package for 2nd dairy air was sent from our bank. Supposed to be there Thursday of last week. Called Saturday cause still wasn't delivered, was told it would definitely be there Monday. Called Monday... we are sorry your package was lost. Lost? This was a $43,000 check for a vehicle. What kind of pathetic company just loses things, especially this important. They don't take pride in what they do, they just throw mail wherever. Who knows how many other people's mail is just lost or thrown away. We should have had our new car here today or tomorrow, if the check would've been mailed. Now we have to wait another week or more, for the new check to get sent out and hope it doesn't get lost. By the time we get the car, we're gonna have to make a payment or 2 on it before we even get the damn car! I know my job, i am held to a high standard, this would be unacceptable bull shit. Can't rely on any one nowadays, people are lazy and pathetic at there jobs, UPS should be ashamed to hire sorry employees like. Ill never use ups again. read more

If I could give them a Negative star I would Horrible! Horrible! HORRIBLE! We had a package to pick up. When my husband arrived he was told his wife already picked it up. NO, I DID NOT PICK IT UP! The employee gave our package to a stranger who showed a picture on her phone. "Supposedly" of the tracking # with a picture ID of my husband. I DO NOT KNOW IF THE EMPLOYEE WAS PART OF THE THEFT BUT I DON'T DOUBT IT Now the insurance company is investigating our claim and we can't file an investigation to UPS because we didn't send the package! Dropped by around 2 pm to ground ship a 17 pound package to Baltimore. There was 2 friendly and helpful counter clerks wearing properly placed face masks. The cost was $33.75 which was reasonable. This is a decent UPS store location in the Meadows area. It is the closest shipping facility near my house, so I usually swing by here when I need to send something out, or if I need to ship something back to Amazon. My wife also uses it for returning her Rent the Runway dress rentals. The staff is generally very helpful and pricing is reasonable for everything that they offer. I haven't had an issue with any of them at the store itself, but we have noticed a recurring issue with some of the items we've dropped off-- the item arrives back at our place instead of going to the destination. I have to assume this is due to the person inputting the label information backwards or something, but it's only happened a couple of times out of over a dozen items shipped, so overall they're still pretty successful. read more

Ahmed helped me. I'm horrible with technology and stress. I had an art exhibition in NYC. Had to mail delicate materials in a way very specific to the art gallery's instructions to receive and return the ART. I approached Ahmed (pardon my spelling might not be correct) with the instructions as I understood them. He said it can't be done. Then I responded, "Would you please help me, because this art gallery has specific UPS instructions as if it is done all the time. Then I handed him my phone with art gallery's instructions. He read them, thought a bit, then said okay and started typing things. Then we got the package done! Arrived at the gallery in perfect condition! Arrived back to me in perfect condition! This UPS tends to be regularly busy. I think it's because the staff are so good at problem solving and efficient pace. Having had poor experiences at other UPS locations, partly because I often don't know what I'm doing from Amazon directions, etc. This location is my go to! read more

I like this place. The people who work here are always friendly and more often than not, they'll tape boxes up for me and ensure that the item I'm returning was packaged properly. Other UPS stores are usually like...,"Eh, that's your problem." I don't even have to ask either. They always start off by saying, "We can tape this up for you." I've been a bit spoiled and now come to expect it. (And this good service is given even on days I look worse for wear, which says a lot. It's definitely not cause of any flirting, I can tell you that.) The prices are reasonable, cheaper than the Kinkos down Sugarland. The only drawback is if you want Kinkos level copying, printing, this might not be a good fit. Otherwise, if your copy needs are simple or you're returning clothes or random Amazon goods that look terrible in person, but great online, this is the ideal vendor for you. read more

One would ship my painting stretched on a frame they offered to pack it and ship it it would be expensive. They also suggested that we could roll it up and ship it in a tube at significantly less price. They were super helpful and we were able to ship my painting across the country for $13. I love having a UPS store in a convenient location. Especially when the store is well organized with helpful employees. The employees will let you know of the pricing options you have whether you are shipping within the US or to another country. If you need things boxed or wrapped for protection they can do that too. I like the fact that UPS provides you with tracking information for convenience and peace of mind. I dropped my package off, a birthday gift for a friend hard to find collectible, the wrapped it in a tube and shipped it a week later no delivery, I call in could t find the tracking number and they can't look you up with out it how absurd. Yet they take all this personal information name address phone number email but they can't see any of it? More bullshit. Days after that I find my tracking number call in and it's been missing for days and of course no one bothered to call me to tell me it's missing and they found the box and it's empty in their warehouse. Someone stole it plain and simple. I write this because this is the FIFTH time UPS dropped the ball on me. They some how "lost" a pair of Jordan's I purchased and even though I created an account with "preferences" on directions on where to leave the package they NEVER listen anyway. UPS is the worst company I've ever dealt with and I won't ever deal with them again. Those other times I had no choice the people who shipped used them I'll never give my business to them ever again! Great location for a UPS store! I dropped off my package at 12:30 on 06/19 and immediately got my confirmation and tracking one minute later. I was suspecting a similar customer service vibe to USPS and the DMV but to my surprise the person behind the counter was such a delightful, knowledgeable and a very well mannered gentlemen. As a first time customer, i needed help to tape my return box and he took care of me in less than a minute. There were about four people getting out of their vehicles to drop off packages and I didn't see a single line nor did I held up the invisible line behind me. Service was faster than a t1 connection. Now that I've done my first return, I am now more familiar and comfortable with the process! Looking forward to doing more business with UPS. read more

I had to ship a rather expensive small tool to the manufacturer to be repaired and I went to this UPS store to have it done. When they asked how I'd like it shipped I asked for the most cost effective way. So I let the rep at the store package it up and send it on its way. A few days later the manufacturer contacted me and let me know that the package containing my paper work, and return shipment information had arrived, but the package had been tampered with and the tool had been removed. So I filed a claim with UPS and was denied because of "improper packaging" UPS then called the store and we had a conference call with the associate that helped me. She stated that it was not her responsibility to know what kind of packaging would be appropriate, and that I was basically out of luck(and $300 to replace a rather vital item of my livelihood) So beware, if you need to ship anything, don't rely on the "experts" at this store to know how to do it. read more
