We were looking for a very large sign that would pop and cover most of a 9 foot long wall. So the sign would be pretty large. I was fortunate enough to meet Rick Hartman at Thomas Printworks. We set up a meeting and discussed what we were looking for in our sign for our business. After discussing with Rick what we were looking for in our design, he brought our ideas back to his team at Thomas Printworks for some brainstorming. To our surprise, Rick came back to us a day later and presented to us their design and ideas of how to make our sign work. He showed us different types of materials that they thought would work the best. He also showed us a few different options in colors and vinyls that could be used to give us the color we wanted. We were looking for a nice gold to pop off of our matte black wall. He even had prices quoted and ready for us for the different options so that we had an idea of what we were going to pay for the sign based on our decision of materials and colors. I have to say that Rick did a great job at communicating with us to make sure that we were on the same page and in agreement with how the sign was going to be constructed and designed. He even made his own suggestions on how to add a little extra dimension to the sign to add some extra pop and a cool shadow like appearance. His thoughts and suggestions were very helpful and paid off. 4-5 days later, an install team showed up to our business and installed out brand new HUGE sign! The install team was very professional. They made sure to not make a lot of noise to disturb our business. They did not make any mess of any sort. And the sign was installed perfectly straight and even. I would have definitely messed up had I tried to install the sign myself. Overall, the experience of working with Thomas Printworks was excellent. They met all our needs and wants for our sign. The sign looks amazing. All of our clients love it. Rick did a great job with providing us with the best customer service. The design team executed the sign perfectly. We would definitely recommend Thomas Printworks for any signage and printing needs in the future.

Cut ahead 20 years, location change, and two name changes later and I used them again a couple of times to make copies and scans and it turns out they are the same - great quality, but a little on the pricey side. I can't stress enough how professional their work is however and my impression is that they specialize in catering to commercial businesses. They do have a self serve type area as well as you'd expect at a Kinkos type place, but I think what sets them apart is their professional graphics design stuff.

We've had an empty wall over our couch since we moved in 4 years ago. After a bit of research, we managed to end up at Canvas Press. To fill the large space, we thought a tri-panel canvas would be the best balance of style and taking up space. I have to admit I was concerned the image would appear grainy or just somehow not look right stretched. All my fears were unfounded as the canvas exceeded our expectations. We actually had a party shortly after we hung it and got a ton of compliments. Prices were very reasonable, especially considering the coupon I found. Our canvas, which is 32"x48" was actually less than the cost to frame a similar sized print. Shipping was "holy crap" quick with ordering on a Thursday night and getting it the next Wednesday (despite choosing normal shipping). That includes getting our proof back within 24 hours and approving it on a Friday night. They also include these awesome "beehive" hangers that make hanging things, especially multiples, amazingly simple. The best part was the hand written, personalized thank you note we got in the mail today. They shamelessly plug Yelp on it, but I can't blame them... it worked! I uploaded the image, check it out. The work to be done when your company merges with another is overwhelming. My part was to get our…read moreold name replaced with our new company name. One of those was 3D letters mounted on the wall of our lobby. Due diligence found these letters to be double face taped up with heavy duty glue, thank goodness no screws. Of course the new manager had to try to remove them and ripped the wallpaper off. Based on the one inch depth of the letters, I could get a canvas mounted to cover them. The search began and I found Canvas Press who could put our new Logo on canvas for a reasonable rate. They advertise gif image could be done, but I had an EPS file. Requesting a quote via email, they were responsive and clear on their answers. I sent them the EPS file and had a copy of the proof within 24 hours. Once I approved it, and another 24 hours it was done. When I picked it up, I explained I need hooks to hang it. They gave me a small bag of hardware. Now the lobby has our new name on canvas covering the old letters and ripped wallpaper. The canvas size I require is W46" x H16" X D1.5". The price was under $200.00 and it looks great.
