Sometimes there are long waiting times because of the high volume of customers coming and going. I have a BIG sign for deliveries to be left behind the (sign is hung on) privacy screen, beside my front door. Every delivery driver I've had does this! NOT TODAY! He/she left it on top of the sitting bench to the left of the front door. Why this matters? I will now be crippled up again with my back and hip, as I had to lift that HEAVY cat litter containing box from CHEWY, also pulling on the site I need surgery! Those instructions are in place so all I have to do is tip the box over the entry step and slide it inside! Why couldn't they have done that very simple task of following the sign?!? Even WALMART delivery drivers follow the sign! Giving the benefit of the doubt, maybe they thought it was helpful putting it up on something high off the ground? The UPS website indicated that it was delivered on Wednesday, May 6th at 1:51pm, but my son was home and there was no knock on the door and no delivery made on that date or any other day that week. My only opportunity to be with my son in some small way on his birthday was blown. He called the UPS store near him and they advised him to have me go to the one I had shipped from, this store, to complain. I did so and the manager, a large woman with bleach-blonde hair, looked at me indifferently. I explained all that I knew and she started to tell me that it wasn't UPS's fault because the delivery drivers do not work for UPS. She never told me this when I was there, paying money to mail it. She was rude and thoughtless. She didn't care that I had missed my opportunity to give him son some love on his birthday. She just didn't care at all.
