I had an Amazon return that could only be shipped through UPS. I received an email from Amazon to print out a barcode, which I did in a rush & ran out the door. When I got there, I showed the clerk my printed sheet & explained I had return for Amazon. The Clerk did not greet me, she looked at the sheet and rudely said "We need a label." I explained this was the label emailed to me. She got even more rude and louder said "We need a proper label. They will email you." I said "This is what was emailed to me." The another clerk, seeing how this was heading South, stepped in and read off the paper I had "Can take up to 5 days to receive." I clearly was still not understanding "But this is what I got so..." & she finally SHOWED me what I should be looking for. Bottom line, rude & hard to get help. read more

I was out running errands in Lenexa Kansas today when I looked up if a UPS store was near me. It turned out there was one in the same building as my appointment. I stepped in and said can I get my Amazon returns processed here they said yes. I went back to my car brought them in everything was scanned and processed for the return. it was very quick. The staff was very friendly, and I felt that my experience from beginning to end was very good if you need to ship or process of return this would be a good place to stop at. read more

I've been a customer of this location for over four years. For the most part, it has been a good experience overall. Most of the employees are friendly and helpful, and the hours are convenient. There is high turnover here, though. The price to rent a mailbox seems a bit on the high side, in my opinion, but the costs for printing and shipping seem competitive. I bought some shirts from an online retailer. When it came time to enter my ship to address it became apparent that the package would come to my house via UPS on a date I wouldn't be home. However, the site allowed for shipping to a selected UPS Store instead (if you check UPS's website this is exactly listed on the UPS site for UPS Access Points) and you were allowed a week to pick up the package there. Fast forward and I was alerted by UPS the package was delivered to the UPS Store. Upon arriving at the UPS Store I was told I owed $20.00 to pick up the package. There was nothing on the retailer's website about this charge. I called the retailer and they said the charge was bogus. When I talked again with the manager at the UPS Store she told me the charge was because of the way the package was labeled. I again talked to the retailer and was told the label was the same as they had done countless times that went to many other UPS Stores. In the end the UPS Store held my package hostage until I paid the $20.00 charge. Don't do business here. read more

Quick, efficient, and friendly-These are the words that come to mind when I leave this UPS store each and every time. The wait time is never too long and the employees are not only friendly, but also clearly know what they are doing. The holiday season can be stressful, and although you might save a few dollars going to the post office to ship your gifts across the country, your time is worth money. It is 100% worth it to use this UPS location. Bonus: They take Amazon returns and literally do the leg-work for you including boxing and labeling your return. Upon returning Amazon products you will be refunded within a few hours. It's that simple. I am beyond thankful to have this UPS store close to me. It is my go-to for shipping and returns. read more

I sold a printer on eBay. I entrusted UPS with sending the beautiful printer. It arrived severely damaged, and included a gift card from a different store in the box! Even through I insured it, and after WEEKS of back-and-forth, UPS would not refund me the entire amount. I am not a lawyer, but I think this just may be illegal. I ordered some golf clubs from and had them shipped to this UPS store. I received an unfriendly call from one of the staff saying the package had arrived and I should pick it up asap. I was told it was ok to have sent the package there but they charge for delivery to the store. $21.88 later I had my package. It may have taken them 2 minutes to check it in. I picked the package up three hours after the call. There are other UPS stores to do business with. This is not one of them. Fast buck today, bad referral tomorrow! read more

I had pre-arranged a return of an item ordered from a vendor online and prepaid $1.50 to cover packing and materials to be used at the store at drop off. When I got to this UPS store, the clerk informed me that I would have to pay an additional $1.00 to tape the box. I showed the clerk the confirmation I received that showed I had already paid online. She claimed their store policy is separate and I would still have to pay $1.00 for a small strip of tape to close the package. I paid the $1.00, but will avoid using UPS and this store in particular. For $1.00, UPS lost a customer for life. I will tell everyone I know - - do not to use this location! read more

This place is absolute garbage. The owners are completely disconnected and have no idea how to serve customers. They stand with their arms folded when you walk in and are rude to customers. Warning: they charge to print your label (totally understandable) but also now charge to put a piece of tape on your box with the label. I feel sorry for the employees who seem stressed out and clueless every time you walk in the store. UPS corporate should be ashamed of these store owners and concerned for the brand. Absolutely horrible customer service. I scheduled online for their notary service several days prior to my appointment. I scheduled it for 9 am. I received the automated confirmation for this appointment. I arrived at the store at 9 am and was told by an employee that the 'notary' lady (which is the store manager) wasn't there and that she'd call her to find out when she would arrive. She called the manager and then told me the notary was "dropping off her kids at school", and then asked if I could come back at 10:30 am. I returned at 10:30 am and was told the notary wasn't there yet again. The employee called the notary and I was told she would be there in 5 minutes. 15 minutes later she arrived and completed the notary service. The notary told me she didn't see a time on their online calendar scheduler for my appointment, which is obviously a lie. Furthermore, during the process she dated the form with the wrong day, this was corrected and I left. This store is horribly managed and has horrible horrible customer service. If we (the customer) take our time to schedule an appointment then don't give the customer such a run-around and poor service. I would recommend if at all possible go to ANY other store. This store and its managment is a joke. read more

I rarely have a need to visit our local UPS Store and after my recent experience, I will need to find a different location to give my business. I sent a package on Friday evening. I was told it would arrive the next day, Saturday. When I attempted to track it later Friday evening, the tracking number did not work. I tried it several times to be sure I wasn't making an error. Perhaps it takes time for the system to update, so I wasn't concerned. I tried again the next morning. It still didn't work. I called the UPS Store and it didn't work for them either, but they were able to look up my shipment using my phone number and let me know the package was still set to arrive later that day, Saturday, as expected. I let the package recipient know and thought all was well. Today, Monday, I heard from the package recipient around 12:30p that they still hadn't received the package. I tried tracking it again and it still didn't work. I called the store a little before 1p and was given to the Manager, Komna (sp?). I shared all of this with her and she asked me several times for my name, my phone number and the tracking number. She was unable to find it with any of this information. She said she would look into it and call me within the hour. Nearly two hours later, when I didn't hear back from Komna, I called her back. Based on the fact that she asked me for all the same things over and over again (my name, my phone number, my tracking number), I don't think she had looked into it at all during that time. She placed me on several VERY LONG holds without first asking me or checking in regularly. When I asked her what she had found out in the last couple of hours since we first spoke, she said she would tell me after I gave her the tracking number. She never told me. Instead I was placed on a never-ending hold of about 11 minutes. At this point, I hung up and called the store back. When I asked for Komna, I was disconnected. I tried again. This time someone picked up the phone, said nothing, and I could hear background noise as if the receiver was put down and people were speaking but not to me. I tried again, and again was disconnected. At this point, I tried calling the UPS Customer Service number. After waiting on hold and telling my story, I was told I needed to call the UPS Store Complaint number. In between time, I randomly checked the tracking number again, and this time, it worked. It indicated that my package would arrive tomorrow and that as of 3:07pm TODAY, Monday, it was on its way from Lenexa. I believe the package never went out on Friday. I believe it's been sitting in the store since then and at some point was found but instead of being honest and telling me this, the MANAGER decided to just quietly update it and assume I would go away. I tried the store again, this time from my husband's phone. I asked for the Manager and again received Komna. She immediately started telling me the package is supposed to arrive tomorrow and made every effort to get off the phone as soon as possible, again hanging up on me, as I persisted asking questions as to why the tracking number didn't work but now did. Never once did she apologize or own up to the mistake that was made. All of this would have looked very differently had she said something like this during our first call. "I'm so sorry your tracking number isn't working. That's very strange. Let me look into it for you." THEN SHE ACTUALLY LOOKS INTO IT AND CALLS ME BACK. "I wasn't here on Friday evening or Saturday morning, so I'm not sure what happened, but I found the package you intended to have delivered. Somehow it did not go out. I've very sorry. It's still in perfect condition and we will get it sent right away. It should arrive to the recipient tomorrow. If you'd like to test the tracking number, I can wait while you do so." This would have saved this transaction. Instead, I've been lied to, hung up on and ignored. I've been made to feel as if my business is irrelevant and unimportant. I did also call the UPS Store Complaint line, but I'm not sure what will come of that. read more

The UPS Store is genius, love that you can accomplish so many shipping needs in one spot. You also get more shipping options than just going to the Post Office, however at this location I have dealt with such an unfriendly person that I have sought out a new location. read more

I love UPS but this store is ridiculously slow. Just wanted to mail something with tracking and it took well over 20 min for them to "figure out" what the cheapest way to send it would be. Then after numerous struggles with the scale, had to switch registers. Then multiple envelops to figure out which one would work, cheapest please (even though I already had the document in a envelope). I totally understand when staff are new or training but there were other employees in there and didn't offer to help... poor customer service. Ended up just walking out due to frustration.
