Ozzie the manager and Adam are very friendly and welcoming. I first met Ozzie when I first came to this UPS store about two yrs ago to get some legal packets made for a squatters case I was filing. She was very efficient, knowledgeable and very helpful in making my legal packets in a well organized manner. I was a mess due from stress from having to go to court. Hence two years later, Ozzie now a well deserved manager, is still as friendly and welcoming as before. She exudes excellent customer service and still is friendly and welcoming as before. Now, I'm having to go through eviction of people I rented too and have breached the contract. I'm from CA and this is the only UPS store I will come too now when I'm in Las Cruces. You decide if UPS is the most incompetent EVER after my story. It's a long story but I'll just give you the facts so I will make it as short as possible. My car broke down on the 10 interstate so I had to tow it to Lordsburg, NM and get a motel room. I ordered the part (a water pump) online from Vescovo Toyota (which is now Viva Toyota). None of that matters anyway because the subject of the matter is UPS. I ordered the part on a Monday morning (early). They gave me a deadline of 7pm Friday, but on that particular morning I called Vescovo Toyota before they shipped out the part so I could add overnight express delivery, The guy at the parts department at Vescovo told me that that won't be necessary as we were only 120 miles away, so the part would be here the next day. Every day that it didn't arrive was costing me another $100 in motel room expenses Remember, the part was an hour and a half to two hours away. That was Monday. Tuesday came and went. Wednesday came and went. Thursday came and went. When the deadline of 7pm on Friday came and went, I just could not believe it. I couldn't even fathom how incompetent that was -you would have to TRY to not get something (that is only 120 miles away) there in 2 days, let alone 5. So, after the deadline, I called UPS and they are "incommunicado" with their drivers. ???????????? I couldn't afford another $100 for the hotel room so since it was cold that night, I risked driving the car and made it to El Paso where I got the part somewhere else and installed it in their parking lot. Halfway to El Paso, UPS had the nerve to call me and tell me the part was just delivered to the Motel 6 that I had waited for 5 days at (paying $100 a night.) for a part that was less than 2 hours drive away. I go here for one reason. To return Amazon purchases. So this review is for this service only. If you generate the return on your Amazon account, take a photo on your phone of the QR code for that return and show it to the nice folks who work here when you take in the package or box you're returning...they scan the photo and give you the tracking info. Seriously, you don't have to do anything to the box but bring it in. UPS does all that for you. Bam! Done, returned. read more

This was my first experience using the UPS Store to box up and ship a package for me. It wasn't good. I needed to ship my expensive Canon camera to a CA factory service center. The UPS Store front desk representatives were friendly and helpful but I guess not trained very well. I paid for a two day service which was over $150 but, when my camera was shipped an incorrect label was applied declaring the lithium battery. The package was stopped and by the time the mistake was corrected my camera was in transit 7 days before it was delivered. I asked about a refund as the UPS Store advertises guaranteed delivery, but that was denied. When I asked why, the clerk told me that the UPS Store is a third party franchise owned store and has no control over UPS. But wait.....doesn't the UPS Store carry the name and ship out packages for UPS???. Confusing and frustrating. I won't be back. read more

In the middle of our ongoing Covid19 crisis, my grandson was just about to celebrate his second birthday. Since I couldn't be there with him all I could do was send a gift that had already been delivered to my house before the stay at home guidelines were in place. The very kind driver whose name I didn't learn went the extra mile to help me get the gift to Albuquerque in time even though I didn't have a shipping label with a tracking number, and Cassie worked to trace the package and called back to say it had been delivered! Arrived from out of town. Requested that two antique tables be wrapped properly and shipped to my address in Arizona. UPS stated they would arrive Wednesday. Arrived Friday, upon receiving both boxes damaged and contents not packed for safety. Opened boxes to find both tables damaged. Reported with photos to UPS corporate and store that processed shipment. Manager Nicole at Iocal store very rude and had no concern about damage. UPS corporate sent email stating that decision was sent to shipping store and that I would hear results from store the next business day. Did not hear from anyone next business day. I am currently waiting for a call back with results read more
