We've been going to Grand Lakes Postal for a few years now. They also send off & accept FedEx and UPS packages. One cool thing I like about this business is that the owner is usually there and he's a notary public. The rates to notarize items are really low too. I found out by accident when I went to two other places that were supposed to have notary publics available but they weren't around. So I ended up there and found out: 1. The notary public is there 99% of the time and 2. Rates are cheap! We also ship packages from here. The prices are reasonable and they will pack your items for you in the appropriate sized box if needed. I like the convenience of bringing a shopping bag full of items to ship off. They do most of the work in packing it carefully! We have shipped around the country and the pricing is comparable to other local postal places. This business also sells a lot of cool Texas made items. Purses, sauces, seasonings, books, crosses, magnets, signs and the list goes on. It's obvious you're in Texas when you walk in here! The owner and the few random clerks we've talked to before have always been helpful and pleasant. We're repeat customers because the service is always good here. Totally recommend this place for all your mailing needs. FYI they sell cold drinks in the mini refrigerator near checkout! It's good on a super hot day if you're walking around the Grand Lakes area.

I caught an employee at the mailbox one day and asked her if she could open our box. After grumbling she was on lunch break she unhappily opened it up. This gets 1 star. My wife went to the mailbox when a delivery person was there, and asked if she could get our mail. He gave it to her, and said he could delivery it to our house if we let him know.
