Customer service was not good at all. As I walked in a stumbled over their door and they all laughed and no one except a customer asked if I was okay, I felt insulted. I then was proceeded to be told that I was shipping something that was to big that I couldn't afford. Again insulted, I then turned around and left and took my business elsewhere. I thought I could trust the store to pack and ship a few cherished items from my sister's estate. Considering that I spent over $200 for shipping, I thought these items would arrive safely. When they arrived at my house, I was shocked. The vase was broken in numerous pieces (see photo) because of poor packing and the painting had a long scratch across it (see photo) and tape was placed on the face of the painting (see photo). These are items that cannot be replaced and cherished memories of my sister that I will no longer have. The photos speak for themselves... I am heartbroken. Update: I called the store this morning and asked to speak to the owner. I was told the owner is out of town and there is no manager on duty and she does not know when a manager will be in. This was the woman who packed my items. Instead of apologizing and trying to make this right, she proceeded to argue with me that the two pieces of paper that she put in the box should have cushioned a 25 pound vase. Also, no one knows how the painting got scratched. Nor can she explain why she put packing tape on the face of a painting. The "manager" Cantu called back. But instead of an apology, he wanted to argue about how they could not have put the scratch on the painting. Why would I spend over $100 to ship a painting with a huge scratch??? I've bought many amazon returns to this store, and I'm normally in and out in no time. The store is small, but it's very efficient in getting packages sent. Recently, with the covid 19, this store has set up 6 feet markers on the floor which is nice to keep people out your bubble. This location is also located near a Publix which is a great excuse to go grocery shopping after. read more

The Duval Station road location is not friendly. I've been to the location more than once thinking well maybe the guy it's just having a bad day. they will tell you to "move over here" no please no thank you when you use their services. This location charges fees for nearly everything. I usually go to the Dunn Avenue location which is further away but at least the people are respectful to me. read more

I have had 3 packages needing signatures come through this location. I have changed my schedule to confirm I can be available for delivery, and all 3 times they have postponed my delivery, and when I try to go and pick up the package I get nothing but push back, not just from this location. But the regional hub as-well. It's extremely frustrating and for now on I will go out of my way to make sure I do not use UPS for my future deliveries while I reside in the Jacksonville area. read more

The customer service at this location is horrible. I went in the other evening with large boxes and was told to use the do it yourself option. I didn't want to do it myself I wanted them to help me, but that wasn't an option. I lugged my large boxes back to my car and went to the St. John's Bluff location which is my favorite location. Believe it or not, most of the time if you need to mail a large package (box), it's cheaper to go through UPS rather than the US snail mail system. It's also generally faster. I love this UPS Store! Very friendly employees who are fast and efficient. They already have my information in the system... I just have to give them my phone number. Then it's just a matter of giving them the info of where I want the package sent. A label is creating and put on the package, I pay, and I'm out of there with a receipt and a tracking number. They do offer service where they will pack your items for you, provide boxes and supplies. I'm sure that can get pretty costly. I always have my boxes packed and taped, so it's a very fast process. Just to give you an idea, I shipped a 16x12x12 box weighing 20 pounds the other day and it was $16.25 with tracking and 2 day delivery. The US snail mail system wanted $30 and it was going to take 8 days. Twice the money and quadruple the time. No thank you, snail mail. I have daughters and grand babies in Texas and Mississippi, so I ship a lot. Can't recommend The UPS Store enough! read more

This UPS store has ruined me for all other UPS stores across the nation. I go in here quite often because I have a small business, and also do a lot of Amazon returns. The family that runs it is always kind and friendly, and most importantly very efficient. They get you in and out as quickly as possible. It's usually the other customers that are causing the hold up! Other UPS stores I have to visit during my travels are nowhere near as kind as these folks. I look forward to seeing them when I go in, despite how brief my visit usually is. Have your stuff taped up and ready to go and have a clear address, and they just ask for your phone number and type in the new address and take the time to verify it. This place is privately owned and their prices reflect nothing but greed. I was in the area and needed to mail a package, they charged 2.30 to receive an email for a black and white copy that was 2 pages. I frequent the UPS store near my condo downtown for similar services and don't pay anywhere near that amount. Furthermore, I don't throw the race card around, but I noticed another patron next to me was spoken too and assisted with a totally different demeanor then what was bestowed to me which included money I placed in his hand change being returned to me on the counter and receipt also placed on the counter, RUDE! read more

Unprofessional!!! Had a packaged shipped here because I was not sure when I would be at home. Package required ID, which I place in the hand of the clerk. The clerk instead of handing it back to me "snaps" it down on the counter. Next, when the package is retrieved, instead of handing the package to me he taps the package on the counter as if to say "here here's your package, pick it up".. This is not the first time I have experienced rude, unprofessional customer service or witnessed it at this location, but it will be the last. Note to the owner or whoever..... If you agree to participate in these programs like Amazon delivery, drop off w/o a label, or act as delivery for other vendors do remember that you are not only representing UPS brand but the other company as well. These people are always snappy and rude. I always order my books from Chegg, when they are due I have to drop them off at a UPS store. I always have the labels printed and ready to go. The employees at this location told me I have to tape the box myself or pay them $2 and some odd cents. This is ridiculous and I will never give them my business again. After seeing the commercials for the UPS stores and their ability to ship anything, I found myself in a position that would test their abilities. I had a set of shorty headers (Performance Car Parts) that needed to be shipped. So I gave this place a shot. I was greeted well and began presenting my case. The options the lady returned with were profoundly absurd. Clearly these folks are gear more towards profit than providing a service. The initial estimate was $75 to ship an item valued at $150. I questioned the exorbitant fee and asked if there was a cheaper way that I could get this done, the girl smiled and said No. Bells and whistles in my head were going off, warning Will Robinson.... I legitimately felt cheated. Not all interested in a return visit. These guys are hard up for money and will do anything they can to take it from you. Trust me when I tell you that it's best if you take your business elsewhere, even if you have to drive a little extra to get there. It will be worth it not to be taken advantage of. So off to Walmart to spend $7.00 on supplies a 5 minute drive to the post office. $23.00 less and the item was shipped. A $45 savings read more

I dropped off packages on a Monday. I got my receipt and the labels were created. It is Saturday and the items still show as not being shipped. I can't get my refund until they ship these items. Do not use this UPS they delivered one of my packages without even putting it in a box! My husband was shipping a picture frame as a gift to his parents. We made sure to pre-wrap it in bubble wrap/ plastic wrap etc. but we did not have a box for it so that's what we went to UPS for so they can finish packaging it and then ship it. The guy was struggling to find a box, then ended up telling us he was gonna make a box and charged us 12.50$ EXTRA for him to package it our total ended up being 41$ for a picture frame. To top it off he already had an attitude as it is and looked very annoyed with the fact that we had something that was an awkward size. I had a bad feeling about it so I asked the guy 3x if it would be placed in a box, I even told him "I want to make sure it's going in a box" he looked me dead in the eyes and said "yes it's going in a box don't worry" Well guess what the package got to my husbands parents house and it wasn't in a box! It was just as my husband and I had pre-wrapped it! Not only did we pay extra for packaging that was not done, but the frame ended up cracking! I was sooo livid I couldn't even believe it, I even asked my in-laws if they were sure it didn't come in a box and they assured me there was absolutely no box! Just in bubble wrap! Went back to speak to the manager and he was practically saying I was lying, saying "I can't see how that's possible" HELLO ME EITHER THATS WHY IM SO UPSET! Ughhh 30$ frame too and my husband is in the military as well as his brother, so he was shipping his parents a framed photo of him and his brother in uniform, it was a gift with a lot of sentimental value and it was ruined! read more

BEWARE OF THE PRICE GOUGING at this "business". I needed to print a copy of a pass for a movie screening. I went in and was told to email it to them and they would gladly print me out a copy. It was just one page and it was black and white print. I was then told that I owe $2.28. What? $2.28 for one b&w print out. I questioned the exorbitant fee and was told it was because they had to use the computer! I asked if there was a cheaper way that I could have done it and the girl smiled and said No. I should have walked out but I reluctantly paid them what they wanted. I legitimately felt cheated, especially since nearly all of the companies that provide this service only charge 10 CENTS to print out a single black and white page. These guys are hard up for money and will do anything they can to take it from you.
