I returned an Amazon package here last week as a gift return. I had not received any email confirmation from Amazon saying it was received. The angel of an employee at this UPS got them on the phone for me and was my advocate. She facilitated the return and I am ever so grateful. She was such a sweetheart as were the other 2 UPS staff. Disclaimer: This review is based off current COVID restrictions and procedures Due to recent events, I've become more cognizant as to how I ship and receive my packages. There used to be a point where I'd stand in line, go through the process of writing addresses down and making sure my items where packaged safely and secure. Nowadays, I want to be in and out without much of a hassle. This particular location has provided me with the convenience of being able to scan a barcode, receive a receipt and go about my day. I don't have to worry about my package once it's in the hands of the associate .. all of that is done for you! I will say to have your barcode ready to be scanned ahead of time to expedite the process even further. I must say, although I work for one, if not the top competitor in the world, I'm still very pleased with the service provided on a daily basis. If you're into a quick and easy trip, give UPS a try. COVID procedures: Masks are not enforced but encouraged, as well as staying at a 6ft distance. read more

If I am purchasing something online, I do my best to make sure that UPS isn't handling it. I'm sure they're better outside of Jacksonville, but THREE, pending FOUR times now, the Jax UPS distribution center has marked my package as "Delivered" two days before it's arrived. Thankfully, the packages HAVE arrived, but only after two days of worrying and filing claims, only to have no answer as to why this keeps happening. Avoid at all costs. read more

This location is convenient, well kept, and usually very quick whenever I'm there. However every employee I have interacted with seems like they do not want to be there, and answers as if you are inconveniencing them with your question. Usually I continuously have to ask them to repeat what they said because I can't hear them or they just nod instead of replying with an answer to your question. I previously managed a ups store location for many years, and having employees who speak as if they like their job really does make customers feel more at ease when shipping/packaging their high value items and sorting their mail, and will definitely increase the number of customers who will return to your location. read more

I visited this location for the first time today, to try to drop off an Amazon return. This is my edited review, because I'll let you come to your own conclusion about the dynamics. For me, I will never return here. When I entered the store there was a person already at one of the registers, and the lady that entered in front of me approached the other register. I was the only person in the store not being assisted at this time and stood back from the register by a sign that says to wait there. Customers entered the store after me. The lady at the right-most register offered assistance to a customer that came in after me by at least 10 minutes. Okay, maybe she couldn't see this 200+ pound white dude with a mohawk and paisley printed face mask, so I speak up and let her know that I was there first. She then offers to help me and I approach her register, as is customary. When I approach I go to hand her my Amazon return, which I had completely prepared. She then tells me that I am in the way of the customer I assumed she had finished helping when she called me and she told me to go stand back where I was. I go back to my bad boy corner until the princess figures out whether she is able to assist me. As soon as I get to my scolding place, I hear, "Can I help you?" which was being directed at the very same customer that came in after me. I spoke up again. She ignores me. The customer at the left-most register, who didn't have any of her things at all ready, thinks that it's appropriate for her to get involved. Quite a few words ensue, all with the owner with his head in the sand moving boxes around behind the counter and trying to ignore everything. I leave, knowing I will never return. So, you all know I'm a white guy. If I told you that everyone else (all staff and customers) in the store was a person of color, could you make any assumptions as to what might have been going on? I know that I have never in my 50 years had the displeasure of feeling that I was being treated differently because of the color of my skin. I also know that many people of color experience this frequently. I did not like and did not appreciate it. I would not wish it on anyone. Apparently UPS and this store owner find it something acceptable to tolerate, since the employee who mistreated me is still working there because "they can't find help." I argue that it's better to have no employee, than to have one that seems Hell bent on ruining your business. I did speak with the franchise owner and confirmed he was present during my visit. He reviewed the security cameras and although no sound is recorded for legal reasons, he told me that the above version did seem to corroborate with what he was seeing on video. The franchise owner said he made corporate aware, although they have not reached out to me. Seems like no one really cares about racism after all. Maybe we all should stop caring? read more

Visit Harry the franchisee at his location many times for amazon drop offs and UPS Shipping. Everytime I've visited he is quite busy but handling the store incredibly well. I know he is having a hard time keeping employees for this location so if you know anyone, ask them to apply. I will always return for Harry's leadership and phenomenal customer service.l read more
