Needed to drop off a few returns and I was in the Hackensack area so I ran into the UPS Store. This store is located in a strip mall off of a few major highway intersections so it's definitely convenient. The store and store front was clean and it wasn't busy when I arrived. I needed to get a few packages taped up prior to taking them to the counter and they had plenty of room for me to spread out and do so. When I was ready to ship the employee at the counter was very friendly and ensured my boxes were secured with enough tape. Definitely a location I would visit again if needed. read more

Have to go to this UPS Store for at least three years and dozens of packages. I realized that I had not posted a review. I'm reference to this establishment. I have to say that every time I come to this establishment, only employees are extremely friendly and helpful and whatever I might need. I realize after reading some of the reviews that there was problems with the previous owner and he was very, very sharp with people and antagonized some of them when they were looking for a little helping, addressing their needs, but I can attest that every employee that works in this shop goes above and beyond to assist their customers. I would highly recommend anyone that's looking to ship a package via a UPS store come to this location if it is in your area and you are looking for a nice friendly relationship with a business. read more

Covid rules have a six feet difference which is good. They need a fast line for drop offs though. I'm not sure why shipping so for a box is so slow. Maybe they need to optimize the amount of shipping info they collect or simplify the workflow. People waited in line for more than 15 minutes in the cold and at least three left without going in because of the wait. I ended up leaving for a Staples, too. There is a parking lot here. read more

An amazing store. There is usually one 1-2 employees so that means there will be a wait, but once you get to the front they have you done in 1-2 minutes. They also deliver quickly. If you live in the area you know that UPS is the way to go because USPS (the post office) "loses" packages all the time. I always prefer to go to this location for my mail services. read more

The owner definitely has a bad attitude, real low brow Jersey goombada mentality. I definitely would use another ups store if this one was not close by. The convenience is the only reason I ever use this place but I only use it for Amazon returns, I would never think of using them for shipping. I will probably start using Kohls to drop off any returns to Amazon, plus Kohls is open later without the bad attitude. The owner has personally never had an attitude towards me but I have witnessed several times his disrespect and rudeness towards other customers. All I know I truly miss the previous owners! I can see some other typical responses. Knowing the clientele in Bergen/Passaic counties can be really tuff. This is not NYC, everyone is nasty with high expectations from each other. They got the job done.. My label had water damage from the rain so you could t make out some of the digits and code.. I assumed they would just reprint it for me (customer service and all) But my my.. $3 they charged me for reprinting my label. The guy tells me to go use the computer in the corner to print the label for $3.. You get to the PC, and the crummy wallpaper reads $3 per 15 min of use. You go to pay the man (cash), and no receipt of the $3 service, just my parcels. Almost like they pocket the cash for themselves.. Will try the local Fedex next time. I'm sure the guy there wouldn't mind reprinting my label for free. read more

The owner, Frank Rotelli, doesn't deserve your patronage.....I went into The UPS Store, Pleasantview Ave location, to discuss several Amazon return packages shipped (sent using an Amazon-issued label) from this location mid-July 2020 which were not received by Amazon as of 09/01/2020. As a result, Amazon reversed the temporary credits issued, and charged me for the items sent back. Tracking shows shipping label generated, but item not received nor in transit. On 09/03/2020 I went to this location to discuss. Initial employee bumped matter to owner Frank Rotelli (no name badge, I had to ask for his name, he gave me his card). When I produced my shipping receipt, Frank wanted nothing to do with it, barking "It's Amazon's problem." With annoyance, he told me they batch all the Amazon return orders into larger shipping containers and give them another tracking #. He said the tracking # I had was "worthless." I stated he must have some cross-referencing documentation of what tracking #s are contained inside the larger Amazon container that would validate the shipment, transit, and (hopeful) delivery of my returns. Frank scoffed at me, "From mid-July, that was over 2000 shipments ago!!!" I told him it's not my problem, it's his. I then asked about filing a claim. He said I can't because Amazon issued the shipping label and only Amazon can initiate the claim. Throughout the whole exchange, Frank was nasty, nasty, nasty!!! I brought my Amazon returns to this location. The tracking system shows they were not received. Amazon has rescinded their credits and is now charging me for the items. Based on these "lost" packages, Frank's disregard for customer concerns, and his incredibly obnoxious behavior, I suggest you DO NOT take your business here. There are other UPS Stores more deserving of your patronage. I would give this location zero stars if possible. read more

I have never had such a horrible experience with any company as I just had today with this UPS store retailer. I needed a notary and went in yesterday morning to have some documented notarize. Simple right? Well there one was one form that needed to be notarized as well. As I asked the "obnoxious" Frank who is the notary public, if I needed to have the 2nd form signed and witness and sealed as well he said 'no.' I than said are you sure because this was important to me and I needed it done correctly. He said no again. I said well let's do it anyway because I didn't want have to come back if it indeed had to do it. He said no, it was for the other party. This was after my total amount came to $42.00. Hence today, I got a e-mail from my attorney and said that the 2nd form was not completed and that it needed to be done and sent overnight again. So I went back to the location to get have the problem corrected. Of course he corrected the actual form but I asked him would I have to pay $35.00 to overnight "HIS MISTAKE", began to scream and shout at my husband and I in front of the store employee and customers. I told him that I thought it was unfair for me to pay that amount again, even after asking him to lets go ahead and fill out the form and notarize it and if it was wrong then let it be.... because it needed to be done correctly and I didn't want to return. He got directly into my husband face and told him, screaming at him, "I am not a lawyer!!! It is not my job to know what you need to have sign or not!!! As a normally calm person I am this arrogant jerk had me steaming. His rudeness and behavior way totally uncalled for. Myself will never ever step foot into this business again and I will tell any friend (or stranger) to do business with the UPS in Maywood, NJ. I ended up going to the Post Office in Hackensack and had the documents sent overnight... the total price was $19.99. So in the end I got screwed more than one way. read more

Went in to get a quote and hopefully delivery my package. Store was clean. Service was friendly. I was in and out under 10 minutes. I did happen to ask the price for their 16x16 shipping box. Close to $8. Yikes! Still worth coming here. Just bring your own box! read more
