Cost me nearly $70 to ground a small 3lb. package to California. About $22 of that was how much they charged me to just put it in a box. I accidentally left a colorful retail box on the counter which had important electronic parts in it. Instead of putting it aside and making a simple call to alert me they told me a few days later, when I called realizing it was missing, that they have a 24 hour throw away policy for garbage. They knew as soon as I walked out that door who that box belonged to because we had a long discussion about it while I was there. This is the 3rd time I've had issues with this store, and I always get the distinct feeling from their tone of voice and attitude that the owners/manager do not care about customers. They only care about our money. This is all too obvious. Some of the workers can be nice, but the owner needs to stay out of the customer service business. read more

The staff was very polite and just amazingly helpful. How, you ask? Story time! I had a package that I needed shipped out ASAP but was unable to drop if off earlier because of work. After I finished working, I raced to this location and got there just after they closed. However, I called ahead of time and informed them that I was about 5 minutes away. I visited this store on Tuesday to mail 4 items. I was helped by a very professional and patient young woman. She helped me to download my packing slips and never lost her patience. She was sweet and kind and I wanted her manager to be aware of the excellent employee he has in her. To the person who responded: The line doesn't move quickly. It doesn't move quickly at all. I've waited in that store for upwards of 20 minutes just to drop off a package. If you look at your yelp reviews, you'll see that I'm not the only one, clearly. Staples who also is a UPS affiliate, let's you drop the packages off into a bin and go, easy Peezy. And I've never once had an issue with my package is getting lost. As someone who frequently shops and returns on Amazon, it's a pretty simple process to print out a label and tape it to a package. That's the whole point of Amazons easy returns. But when UPS gets involved, it becomes brain surgery. And the "heavy woman" is the reason why I will not be returning to this location, she's awful to deal with. Every store has employees who wear masks and none of them are as abrasive and rude as she is. Everyone that you speak to locally feels the same way about this store. Like I said, there's no sense of urgency in anyone working there and they're fine with the line being 10 persons deep into the parking lot. Those people are wearing masks too, are they angry and rude? Your awful attempt at responding to my comment further proves my point at how poor of a job they do with customer service at this location. And the HEAVY WOMAN should try meditating or take a class on customer service, and maybe she won't be so painful to deal with. read more

Sometimes theres a line sometimes there isnt when i came in on a sunday around 11 able to walk in with my amazon returns quick simple easy.

Went in today and was met by Eva who is apparently the owner of this locations. After being rude to an individual in front of me she pointed at the scale and said "just put it down here". After i said excuse me she said "just put your package here, lets go". I at that time i just stepped aside and let the individual waiting behind me go in order to avoid having to deal with her. I called another UPS store to find a number to a district manager and was met by shock. The individual who was a manager at this other location that was close by knew her by name. He went on to explain that he gets numerous complaints about her and how rude she is. So here we are as someone who does not leave a ton of reviews i am trying to let whoever i can to STAY AWAY from this location so you dont ruin you day also. Thank you all for reading read more

I don't know who is creating these reviews but I have been to this UPS so many times and EVERY TIME they are MORE than pleasant and MORE than helpful..in FACT they go ABOVE and BEYOND! They were trusted to pack and ship my electronic amplifier. It was so poorly packed that the item broke and fell out of the box on the step of where it was shipped to. I am out $1250 now!! Use Fedex instead! They act as if they are doing you a favor when using them. Grade F!! read more

I came here for a color print out of a page I needed. I ordered it online. When I got to the store, the girl had no idea what I was talking about. It wasn't even ready. Finally, she prints it out (I had to leave and come back). I get the copy and there's a purple line down the middle. I point this out to her and she just shrugs. WTF? I sent an email and never heard back from anyone. So here I am with my yelp review. My second trip to the store for a return wasn't much better. This time I had a young guy handling my return. He looked and acted like he wanted to die. I couldn't even understand what he was saying because he was mumbling and speaking in a whisper voice. Final straw was when he flung the pen at me to sign the paper. Done with this store. I'll stick the the post office from now on. read more

I went to this ups location to return a few things from Amazon and can I say wow, where is the professionalism in this place. I walked in and it took about 4 minutes to get some assistance although the store was empty and there wasn't a line. Sophia was promoted to assist me, however, as she was helping me she kept huffing and puffing along with slamming my items onto the counter. It is unacceptable for employees to act in this manner. Although Sophia looked as if she was 18 years old, it is still imperative that she conducts herself in a professional manner. UPS please reconsider who you hire to represent your company. read more

I went into the store today and was greeted by the manager Emma, she was extremely rude and frankly quite obnoxious. I understand the box I brought in wasn't the best and she was trying to do her job but you DO NOT speak to anyone like that. ABSOLUTELY DO NOT come here. Terrible service, the woman in the front counter was rude to my mom, told other customers off, and mumbles comments. They are impatient, and do not help their customers with their questions or requests. All she says to people are "go to our other location" or "buy this" or "buy that" when you ask for a little piece of tape because she accidentally ripped off our paper label. I wish I read the reviews first!! I was in a bind so I had to come here last minute. I didn't really find anyone to be rude, but this place is a RIPOFF!!! They charged me 8.99/print (printed on my own paper), and then for the kicker, they charged me $3 at checkout for e-mailing the file !!! When I asked why the charge, the woman said that's what they charge to open the file and set it up. Ridiculous!!! This is actually the craziest store I've ever been to. It took the staff 45 minutes to take and ship my package - I watched 4 people leave the store because of the inefficiency of the staff. DO NOT GO HERE!! SO MANY OTHER UPS STORES. WASTE OF TIME. The WORST experience I have ever had at a UPS store. One employee was working, and she intentionally took longer (or took her time) to do each step. When I arrived only two people were ahead of me & a third person was in the process of making a payment. The next person on line was taking 8 minutes, until I walked out after 14 minutes because I had an appointment at 4:00. By the time I left, four other customers were behind me on the line. The ironic part was that there was no specific hold up or issues with these customers, the employee just didn't care. I don't care about lines in general- that's the way our world works. But I felt as if I was at a Costco (or Post Office) To be honest, I just do not expect that from a UPS store. I went to this location because it happened to be on my route & I thought it would be quicker than going to my usual UPS store in Garden City Park in the opposite direction. Wow was I wrong (I'll rate next for being exceptional). I've been to other UPS stores and I have also had great experiences & I am always impressed with how fast the process is. I'm never worried when I see a line at UPS, and I've never been in one for more than 5 minutes. On average I am at a UPS store for about 30 seconds-2 minutes TOPS. read more

This place is the worst. The employees are super slow and extremely unfriendly. I HATE going there. They are so slow that there is usually a line going down the front of the shopping plaza. Beware, UPS drivers may be running a scam. They change your delivery address when they don't deliver to certain locations and won't reveal who made the correction. Your package still ends up at a residence near the UPS depot though. But they claim they made a mistake. "Why not return or contact the sender - new SCAM? SHAME!!" read more

The price to scan 2 pages to a flash drive $5.98. This is obnoxious. In reading other reviews I am not alone in this thought. Add to that unfriendliness and and not even an explanation, but rather "this is what it costs" does not fly well. Ask the cost before you do anything here. Sometime ago I came to this UPS Store for a free-return shipment to Amazon to have them scan the QR code then print the shipping label. A big fat mama, perhaps the owner, herself, charged me $2 just for taping up the box! The tape she used was hardly nothing! I've read other reviews with similar stories from this store. User beware...Today was the second time that I came to this store. The first was about two weeks ago to drop off an Amazon return. That visit went as it should. I brought in my return item, they scanned the QR code I had and I was on my way. Today when I brought in my Amazon return the man who scanned my code said he has to charge me $1 to seal the box because it was open. I asked why when the last time I brought in an open box I wasn't charged. I also told him that when you pick the drop off option to return an item to Amazon it clearly states you don't even need to bring the box the item was delivered in because UPS will take care of packaging and labeling. His explanation was that Amazon doesn't give you the truth. After I paid for the tape I called Amazon. I spoke with a customer service agent, Liz. I explained to her what happened and that I wanted to know whether it's true or not that you have to pay for the packaging when returning through UPS. She place me on hold briefly and when she came back on she explained to me that through the contract UPS has with Amazon, the packaging of the return is already paid for by Amazon. That is why it states when you return an item at UPS you can just bring in the item without a box and UPS will package it. I also told her about the man who was ahead of me at the store. He had one sealed amazon box and 2 sealed bags of returns. The man behind the register told him to open the box and put the 2 bags in and that he'll need to be charged $1 for the tape to reseal the box. The Amazon age t was nice and gave me a credit for the $1 charge but if you use this location to send a return back to Amazon, know what is true and what is not. The Amazon agent requested that if I needed to send a return back again and the store wants to charge me for packaging to call Amazon customer service first. read more

They Mailed a package from this location to China. They also packed it for me. Never gave me any "heads up" that the material (That was worth $1500) might be confiscated by customs! Well it was and we lost the package and contents! Never ship from this store again. read more

Beware if you are having a package shipped here for pickup there is a fee. This is not stated on the website nor the main UPS website. When I questioned UPS they told me this store is independently owned and operated and while most UPS stores do not charge some may. Guess I should have read the first review. read more

If they would allow me to rate this ups location with negative stars I would. That being said, i attended this location to print and scan a few work documents being that I often work from home and do not have access to print/scan. First off, the woman behind the counter was out right rude from the get go. I asked to use the computer to access my email.. she replied "sure as long as you swipe your credit card first..." interesting response but I went ahead and did so. I told her in detail what I had to accomplish and she said sure with no mention of cost. Swiped my card used the computer for 12 seconds and printed my documents, $14 dollars later we arrive at the scanning phase of the mission. She scans all documents (20ish in total) and insists on personally emailing it to me. I gave her my email.. and headed for the door with a thank you. I was halted when she replied "well you have to pay for the scanning," another interesting response but I replied sure not thinking much of it. She announced a grand total of $41 dollars in addition to the $14 that was already paid for the computers and printing. Needless to say i was shocked not knowing a small business loan was required to complete a few mindless tasks. In conclusion i refused to offer up my credit card yet again and left. I got burned for the $14 and exited the store with what was left of my pride. Suggestion, mention pricing prior this should not be assumed. Happy ending.. I took my business to Fedex Kinkos and was charged under $5 for everything. Advice, avoid that location and employee at all cost. read more
